I am there. 13 years married, and suddenly nothing. I have wanted to just walk away because it's the easy thing to do and start over. But we have a child. I prayed about it, and I was lead to find peace. I made a vow, not only to my wife, but to God. For better or worse. Read in order Matthew 17:20, Mark 4:36-39, John 14:12. Don't give up, have faith, and demand peace. Focus on God in you

Will their be animals in heaven, such as our dogs, cats etc?
  • Ruben Hartness - In Reply on Job 1 - 6 years ago
This isn't a sport--God proved to the world He is LORD. He proved to Satan that Satan could NOT win a true believer over no matter the trial. He knew Job fit that description. Job never lost faith, have you? Yes Job suffered but he is now in the bosom of Abraham and Satan is in the pit. God loves His children and doesn't play games. Upgrade your faith to understand. It's your discernment.

You speak your words, not GOD'S. For GOD is not the GOD of the dead, but of the living. Of the eight who are alive and remain, none are thee. So strive with thyself and agree with thyself and lie to thyself and pack thy own bags and run by thyself and hide by thyself and cry by thyself and die by thyself. For Michael spake of you, See here the envious devil as he blasphemes the Holy Ghost and GOD:

Annie, I know this is off the subject of Job but, how did you acquire God's wisdom?
  • Thomas F Hills - In Reply on Job 1 - 6 years ago
So, you are saying that God offering up Job to Satan knowing full well Satan would try to destroy Job's faith in God was not a bad thing. And all that transpired after that, was just through the actions of Satan. God holds no responsibility for his part in the deconstruction of Job. Oh, how would you like to have your children killed and then someone sends over replacements?
  • Thomas F Hills - In Reply on Job 1 - 6 years ago
We have already been forgiven. Jesus dies on the cross for all past, present and future sins so that we may all have eternal life. All sins have been forgiven forever. So, everyone will go to heaven, everyone. I guess Satan or no Satan, it doesn't matter. And if the story of Job is for real and since I have free will, then no, I do not forgive God for his actions.
  • Thomas F Hills - In Reply on Job 1 - 6 years ago
I respectfully think if someone commits a heinous crime, that was by their own free choice or free will to do so. That person may have been influenced by environmental factors or driven by genetic imbalances or imperfections and yes, one might say they had a devil in them but, not literally. I know I am getting off the subject of Job but, perhaps not.

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him male and female created he them.

God chose, called and ordained him before he was born to prohesy to the nation. God wouldnt have called and chosen him if he knew he couldn't accomplish it. The enemy loves to use fear on us to keep us from walking in God's will. Its one of his greatest weapons. You will fear fear but fight through it. God is with us and will empower us to do great things.

It appears Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and all the mighty men were rendered invulnerable to the immense heat causing the mighty men to march right into the heat without realizing how abnormally close they were to it and as they threw Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego the mighty men were judged right as they released their grip on them and were no longer invulnerable to the heat and were consumed.

  • Adam - In Reply on Job 1 - 6 years ago
This seems to be a different topic. We live in a fallen sinful world which is the domain of satan. We could have been puppets but were lovingly given freewill to choose how to conduct ourselves. There is such thing as love, morality, and consequences, but we sin regularly. God Jesus came here to earth and people murdered him. Through this he paid our debt of sin giving us hope of life in heaven.
  • Adam - In Reply on Job 1 - 6 years ago
"Job and what his God did to him" - why do you assume God harmed Job instead of Satan? If someone commits a heinous crime today would you not attribute that to someone who was deceived by Satan into doing evil? God doesn't tempt or deceive us, Satan does. Do you think Satan is bad?
  • Adam - In Reply on Job 1 - 6 years ago
Disagree. Satan is evil, God is good and loves you and everyone. If your family member gets sick, do you blame God? Tornado hurts your child, blame God? Cancer, blame God? The story of Job was a special circumstance in the old testament before Jesus died for our sins and gave us grace. Today Satan has power to wreak havok on your life, but not to kill you. Jesus paid your debt- is that not love?

What Stan and Ruban shared Robert is True too in Regards to having the Right Focus The Love of Money is the root of all evil so leads to other Sins in this Scripture it's rejecting Jesus and Worshiping the Beast the Unforgivable Sin it's Blaseming The Holy Ghost and how can we be brought back to Repentance if we Reject in our Hearts our Advocate the Only One who can Intersead for us- Hebrew6:4-8

  • Thomas F Hills - In Reply on Job 1 - 6 years ago
Why does everyone have to quote lines from that book, the Bible, written by 40 authors over a period of 1500 years? Don't you think if God who is capable of doing absolutely everything, he would have written the bible himself, in every language and distributed it throughout the world in hours, not years, if it is truly his book? After all, didn't write the 10 commandments on stone?
  • Thomas F Hills - In Reply on Job 1 - 6 years ago
Yes, very unloving. We can only deal with reality and reality says that family is everything to us simple minded mortals. This test was depraved and heinous, so much so, I repeat God could never do this. Although the God from the old testament is really a Bastard. My God is good, kind, loving and considerate of our human ways and feelings. This story is a hoax. "Believe not for they lie."
  • Thomas F Hills - In Reply on Job 1 - 6 years ago
Rube, Keep this simple. Don't over analyze it. The story is about a God and if the man needs to explain what a God is then he will . The story has a Satan and so goes that also and the victim is called Job or Jim I don't care . Just listen to the story, and you tell me if you think what this God and Satan conspired to do to Job or Jim was fair or reasonable or for sport or kind or evil?

Robert this Scripture is in referance to the End Times after the Beast is made known some who acknowledged our God will still accept the Mark of the Beast because without it they will not be able to Buy or Sell but than they will be agreeing to Worship the Beast who will Control The One World Goverment and Church of all Religions Many True Christians will be Martyred Rev7:9-17 God Bless you- Anne

Ok Adam, let me finish this short story about prayer. After hearing these remarks after every slaughter, it dawned on me that we could be doing much better with our prayer. So, I contacted some of the clergy and suggested, we pray a advance for no more of these heinous crimes. Well, what in God's name happened? p.s. How about the survivor who thanks God for saving her. What about the dead? Thank?

Dear Duck, I very much understand your heartche and so does Jesus our Loving and Compassionate Lord and Saviour who warns us we will be hurt when we are Faithful to Him but He doesen't tell us to be Happy Clappy about it Matt11:28-30 and we can have inner Joy that He knows our Name and that we are a Spiritul Child of The KING of Kings and LORD of Lords, I'm Praying for you my Dear Sister - Anne.
  • Ivy Johnson on 2 Thessalonians 2 - 6 years ago
Falling away, yes. God the Holy Spirit has left the denominational Churches. They take so many of The Holy Scriptures which are detrimental to the Five Fundamentals of our Faith. Deity of Christ, Virgin Birth, Blood Atonement on the Cross, Bodily Resurrection from the dead, Glorious return to the earth to set-up His Kingdom, in the New Jerusalem. Replacement theology, God is done with Israel.

Thomas it's good your seeking answers, I was deceived as a Teenager that God and the Bible were just made up and I believed this for 30 years but the Evidence was too Great. Later although I didn't doubt God's Reality I became very Confused by all the differant Teaching so I asked for His Wisdom and Wow what an Amazing difference. If wanted Thomas I will seek to answer your asked questions - Anne

I am so glad to have read these verses again because they hold true of what Jesus has said all along. We can not serve two masters and expect to get into heaven. We are our own worst enemy. God has given us the map to salvation yet we rely on a man to make things right on this earth. It takes a village to raise children but it takes God to raise adults. Politicians never adhere to God's mandates.

The evening and the morning were the first day. The evening and the morning were the second day. The evening and the morning were the third day. The evening and the morning were the fourth day. The evening and the morning were the fifth day. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, IT WAS very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. NOW ARE THE DAYS OF HOLY SABBATH:
