It's hard to read harsh words, but they are still "pure" words. I like to think of v.13 like Gen. 4 re Cain and Abel, accepted and not accepted....we have to trust that God is just.

One of my favorite chapters in the bible, Paul is so good here to point out that we are free from the law of sin and death and alive to live by the spirit. although we are still in carnal bodies, we can now overcome sin, guilt, feelings of condemnation etc...and live a confident, victorious life that conforms us to the image of God's son. Even things in our past have been for a purpose.

Also you're misquoting the context of Hebrews 10:26. There remains no more sacrifice for sins because Jesus paid for our sins in full, Hebrews 10 9-19. So how can one sacrifice for a sin that has already been sacrificed for. That's like paying on your car note when its already paid in full. Their willful sin is turning from the blood back to sacrifices and their own works.

The name of the day, that we celebrate the Resurrection of Christ, is of no concern to True Believers. Nor is what some men have named this particular day, or the origins of the name. Yes he did! To say otherwise is not to believe in Him as the Messiah. Romans 3 25-28, Romans 3 22-24, John 1 29, 1 John 2 2, Rev 1 5, Hebrews 9 14, etc! You are in danger of Hebrews 10:29. The new Hebrew believers wanted to go back to works and doubted on the covering of Jesus's blood. The debt of our sins are gone forever. Only chastisement and loss of rewards are left for sinning believers.

it's pretty plain how god feels about these lifestyles which the bible calls sin.it seems some people think it's ok. might I remind them there will be a day of judgement.

I love the apostle Paul because he went from zero to hero because of the Lord Jesus! He persecuted the believers thinking he was doing God's work to begin with. Afterward, he was shown what he would do and suffer for the Lord. His ultimate goal was to preach in Rome. God orders the steps.

Sorry, but i don't think Paul had to "save" all the jews before he could be sent to the gentiles! In fact, the gospel accounts say that Peter was sent to the Jews, and Paul to the gentiles-GBU

when reading this chapter i am exorted to tell the good news, some will consider and believe and others will not...Paul was bold that's for sure!

Repenting means changing Your Mind and agreeing with God, He is Wisdom and Truth. If you say you have no sin, you make Him a liar. Why won't you come to Him so that you can be saved? Repent and find rest for your soul!
