The laws statues, commandments, were only given to the Israelites, Romans 9:1-5, Salvation is only for the Israelites Luke 1:68-75, you must walk in faith and works James 2:22. The new Kingdom is for Israel, Jeremiah 31:31, Hebrews 8:8. To get eternal life you must do the commandments of God Matthew 19:16, 1 John 5:3, John 14:15, Ecclesiastes 12:13. God hates the sinners Ecclesiasticus 12:6.

I read this with confirmation to what Timothy was writing here. We see and are experiencing the identical attitude in this present time 2019. Know we are God witnesses and will experience the same thing our brethren did in Jesus Christ time. May we continue to fight the good fight of faith , love the brethren and close any demonic doors to satan. He s rejected knowing his weakness. Moving forw

More modern translations of Bible use the word "Man" instead of "Adam" because Hebrew word used in the original text means "man" but is preserved as the Hebrew word " ha' Adam." Similarly, "Eve" in Hebrew meant something along the lines of "source of life," so doesn't necessarily denote one person named Eve, but may be a metaphor for "females." Could have been more than two people.

1 Our Lord has long been called the shepherd or guide of those who follow him. He is the one who satisfies all of our needs. 2 To lie down in green pastures means you're being fed by him. Your knowledge of him is green and growing and you find your rest in him. If water is his word that cleanses us then waters are the people who follow his word and you will have peace.

I recommend The Answer Book by Gipp for any questions about the apocrypha...hope this helps! Persons that cannot confess that Jesus is God in the flesh have the spirit of antichrist, we are reminded of that in this chapter. Look for those who are receptive and "save some"
  • Gail Morris on Psalms 63 - 7 years ago
It came as a reminder that I need to be in His Word when I awake in the morning...I am newly retired, and never have been a morning person, so morning times with God were not likely, being unable to focus early in the morning. Thank you for this reminder, that I need to spend time in the morning once I am up...God IS our sanctuary! Amen...

What I'm saying about the end time events is be prepared because there is a 5 month period written Rev 9:5 and half that time 2 and a half months you may find yourself in a problem if you realize and hear and see in the News that a man in Jerusalem who has supernatural powers and is claiming he is God returned takes over in a one world system, It's Satan. He is acting like Christ! Wait for Christ!

Irene 123, do you ever get together with friends, and have a good time with them, eating, drinking maybe wine, or other drinks? What the people in Noah's time were doing was, they did not obey the lord, they were heathen. Job's kids, were just going about their normal daily business, they were not doing anything wrong.

If at any time you are reading God's word and come to a place you do not understand, just ask God what it means. He will answer.

What is the difference between salvation and exaltation ?
  • Obbie Beal on Luke 13 - 7 years ago
verse 15-16, Jesus brings much, much, clarity to the people, us, concerning The Sabbath, one of the Ten-Commandment.
  • Vanessa on Romans 1 - 7 years ago
And I speak that out of love, again do not be deceived, immoral does not come from God. Satan is working hard he knows his time is limited now, such a shame to see how many he's blinding to the light, but as long as we all still breathe we still have time to repent and have Christ fill our hearts with the Holy Spirit, and give our life to him, he will lead the way
  • Vanessa on Romans 1 - 7 years ago
dishonor their own bodies, women with women, men with men. seems today we now have churches lighting up the rainbow for such things, I guess they skipped these words, a politician who loves that life said God spoke to him, I think he forgets so does satan, the father of all lies, do not be deceived, read the word the truth, Christ himself said a man leaves his parents to cleave to a woman
  • Vanessa on John 3 - 7 years ago
Makes me sad to know people still cant see the light, and deny Christ, I am not a preacher by any means, but I do try and plant a seed, how merciful and loving our God is to have sent his son to be nailed to a cross, Jesus is the only way for our salvation, we must believe in him, trust in him, and have faith in him, give our lives over to him let him lead our path, a true love for us all
  • Richard Harvie on 1 Corinthians 11 - 7 years ago
We must remember that St.paul was NOT divine and that his commandment to shave off a womans hair who prays without her head being covered is plainly ridiculous. Indeed it behoves Christians to return to Christ's commandments of non-judgemental unconditional love if Christianity has any chance of surviving into the future--and foresake their sin-seeing habits!

I have a question will children in there teens go to heaven or not if they don't really understand the concept of being saved?
  • Obbie Beal on Luke 13 - 7 years ago
verse 9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down. Note: even-though mercy and time was secured for the investment, the investment is faced with produce or perish.
  • Obbie Beal on Luke 13 - 7 years ago
verse 8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it. Note: someone intervene for the unprofitable investment and secures both mercy and time for the unprofitable investment.
  • Obbie Beal on Luke 13 - 7 years ago
verse 7, Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none, cut it down why cumbereth it the ground? Note: the owner allowed more than enough time for his investment to be productive, never-the-less the investment was unproductive to the degree that the owner issued a command to destroy the unfruitful investment.
  • Obbie Beal on Luke 13 - 7 years ago
verse 6, He spake also this parable A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. Note, the owner, his investment, and the owner s expectation from his investment, the result the owner received from his investment, the owner unacceptability plus judgement on his investment.

Thanks for your response. I totally agree with you. I know you can be a Christian and back slide, because I did..............And, I knew I was saved. I just wondered where the people get the idea that if they are "once saved--always saved." Because there are too many verses in the Bible that say otherwise. But, I am glad to say that I came back to God, and am looking forward to meeting Him.
  • Teri on 1 Peter 1 - 7 years ago
This is a beautiful book, if you keep in mind that Jesus told Peter to feed my sheep. Wow, to go from despair to right standing! This admonishes us to realize the gift we have been given, and not to waste it. It's an inheritance. Praise God, for his words are life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh- Proverbs 4

Jesus came to also establish and start the growing of his bride, his Church. The word Church is hardly ever found if at all in the Jehovah's witness vocabulary. They never say church they say society. Would Christ and his Father accept a society instead of a church? This society dose not respect or recognize the deity of Christ.do not practice or honor the bread and wine sacraments ,That s only fo
  • Teri on James 4 - 7 years ago
I think if alot of us would re-dedicate ourselves to the pure words of the Lord, we will see revival. This chapter is an exortation!
