verse 23-29, Jesus taught them, us, the result of being on-time and being-late, as it relates to timely applying the door-of-opportunity thereby be SAVED from the Lake-of-fire, because tomorrow may be to-late after the door is shut, see 23-29 above. Today Salvation is knocking at our door thereby we can chose to be Saved, see John 3 verse 16-21.

That sounds good, but you are going to have to give me specifics, as I have done, in order to support your argument. We cannot sin, sin no longer exist!

Can you tell me what the numbering is for the morning and evening psalms in then 1611 version. I have not seen this type of numbering before. If you have a copy of the 1611 version you will find what I have mentioned in the Morning and Evening daily Psalms to read.

When someone is in the habit of studying the Bible every day, over time after one has read it through a few times you begin to make more connections and see common themes throughout. One is obedience. No where does the Bible says once you accept Christ you just 'do whatever sin you want', because it 'doesn't matter'. Quite the opposite. The book of James explains this commonly misunderstood topic.

People's behavior affects others very much, not just oneself. If someone murdered one of your family members I'm sure you would agree that it would affect not just the dead family member, but you and the rest of your family, friends, their community. Love is an umbrella command in order to simplify. People don't murder others in love, for example, which is why that's a sin.

I agree the Most High speaks today. Just making a point that He was talking about the Israelites. He still talking to them today. Psalm 147:19 He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel. 20 HE hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the Lord.

Pray for your friend, but judge him not ! You assume many things examples he had affairs, Well maybe he has asked and been forgiven for sins you judge him by. He doesn't attend church lately..is this a sin? Perhaps his relationship with God is growing because of things in his life you know not..pray not that he acts as you think he should, but pray he will find his way and don't judge his heart

Isn't that partially what Sodom and Gomorrah was about? I'd like to know more as well as I recently found out a family member thinks they are gay and I'm not certain how to deal with this in order to talk about it. I won't condone the behavior.
  • Kenneth Redden - In Reply - 7 years ago
Your personal behavior only affects YOU, according to our one and only new commandment "love one another as Christ have loved you, that ye also love one another," John 13:43. Your time in the hereafter will be judged according to this new commandment, so love one another as Christ has loved you and that's all you can do. Love.

As a matter of fact, our faith, personally has absolutely nothing to do with it. After an estimated one quintillion occurences of the seven days of creation. the Universe is perfect and there can be no sin!

I know that it is Christ's faith that saves us because of 2Timithy 3:15.

Please show me how you carefully read the Bible across all its scriptures and come up with your assumption.

  • Adam - In Reply - 7 years ago
People often make the assumption that because you are saved by grace that a Christian doesn't need to do anything- Can just do evil and worldly things just like anyone else. But if you carefully read the Bible across all its scriptures you will see that's untrue. You can literally Google search and come up with countless verses that say Christians those already saved must proactively avoid sin.
  • Kenneth Redden - In Reply - 7 years ago
Matt 5:48 does not say to make a full effort to avoid sin, it is about loving those who hate you, read the pasage. However, Ephesians 2:8 tells us that we are saved through faith, Christ faith, and that not of yourselves.
  • J D Kazar on Genesis 16 - 7 years ago
Hagar is called a maid or handmaid. 16.1,16.2 etc. in 16.3 "Sarah gave Hagar to her husband Abraham". I submit that if someone can give you to someone else you are a slave. Then Abraham proceeds to rape Hagar and impregnate her. When Sarah got angry, at Hagar!, over this although Hagar clearly had no say Abraham says she's yours do what you want to her 16.3. Lovely people

today this is how we reach the blood of Christ is through water baptism. Read Acts 2 38 above and below and also read acts 8 verses 26 through 39 these are examples of how we today reach the blood of Christ we repent and are baptized and receive the Holy Ghost and have our prayers heard. Granted we all continue to sin but now we have God's ear in prayer and are able to ask his forgiveness

God takes people's hand in times of trouble. People need to understand the Bible speaks to us today. It is not a relic - or dead words. If that were the case we could ignore what Jesus said to his people 2000 years ago. One could say, " Jesus wasn't talking to us". I believe God's Word is active today and speaks to his people a it did in the days of Israel. God takes the hand of His people today.

But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Hi Kennneth, I've been hearing this opinion more and more recently and I've read the Bible, prayed about it and feel convicted that this is only a deception by satan. The holy spirit has confirmed that while Jesus has washed our sin away through his grace that we are to make a full effort to avoid sin. Matt 5:48, John 14:15- if not then you don't love Jesus according to the Bible.

What does Jesus say, or does he, specifically address homosexuality?
  • LYNDON PATRICK BERCHY on Psalms 118 - 7 years ago
Psalm 118 verse 8 is said to be the centre of the "Holy Bible". Its the most powerful verse in where "God is the Centre of our Lives", It was God who made Adam and gave him the Breath of Life, That was given to the man in a state of holiness. He had everlasting life at the time of that giving, Which tells us that when he ate the fruit of desire this man brought death on himself. So Trust God.

  • Frank - In Reply on John 16 - 7 years ago
Best left up to God to say what is literal and what is spiritual. Hundreds and hundreds of fundamentalist that adhere to a strict literal interpretation are at odds with one another. They're divided! I'm a Baptist, I'm a Methodist, I'm a Presbyterian. What they are is dead blind and asleep. How it is that God has hidden the truth from the wise and prudent is in the spiritual understanding.
  • Frank - In Reply on John 16 - 7 years ago
Amen! The Holy Ghost Spirit is in fact the Spirit of Christ. To receive His Spirit is to experience his second coming. The carnal mind is incapable of knowing him. That in fact is how God has hidden the truth from the wise and prudent. Ever learning never coming to the knowledge of the truth. The Word Of God MUST be spiritually discerned. God is A Spirit. Now the Lord is that Spirit.
  • Janie verse 4 on Deuteronomy 24 - 7 years ago
Despite hearing and reading God's word I remarried. While in the second marriage, I realized how I had sinned. I remarried because I was saying to the Lord Jesus that I did not trust him to take care of me as a single woman. My actions said that I did not believe everything in the Bible. Maybe, without realizing it, I may have said to the Lord I do not Love you. I had to repent. Forgive me Lord.

Psalm 145 is so Beautiful. The Lord is near to All who call upon him in Truth.
