Hi Bob, Yes! Our salvation in Christ and gift of eternal has been made sure - Jesus is triumphant! And, the Lord expects us to walk in His ways and keep His commandments. Only the overcomers will "walk with Him in white," "Eat of the tree of life," "Sit down on His throne," Eat of the hidden manna," etc. Revelation 1-3, 21:7-9.

Verse 1 Many have preferred the religious lies that are really demon inspired to the truths found in God's Word.
  • Mrs Ruby Gran on Joshua 3 - 7 years ago
This is a word for me today because I am seeking God for the path he wants me to take and which way to go and what congregation should I attach myself to. I feel that obeying the word of God and allow the Holy Spirit to guide me and listen and follow I will hear the directions of God and His Holy spirit, this chapter has open up a form of understanding for me that I didn't understand.
  • BSP on Genesis 2 - 7 years ago
Verse 17 Jehovah God clearly stated the consequences of disobeying his law regarding the tree of the knowledge of good and bad. Adam and Eve purposely went against this command and suffered the consequences just as Jehovah God said that they would.
  • WILL on Psalms 119 - 7 years ago
To biblefan, ain is not a person. it is a hebrew letter, which is used to seperate every 8 verses of the chapter. i believe that in verse 126 the psalmist is not so much telling god what to do as much as he is reminding god of the state of affairs. a person could tell god "it is time to heal me". that would be the persons opinion, not being nervy. god bless you
  • BSP on Jude 1 - 7 years ago
Verse 3 shows the need to put up a hard fight for the faith because there are many faithless ones in these last days. There are also many things that are designed to attack the faith.
  • BSP on John 8 - 7 years ago
Verse 44 Satan the Devil is a liar and is described as a father of the lie because he was the one who told the very first lie.
  • BSP on 1 John 4 - 7 years ago
Verse 6 It is important that we are able to distinguish between spiritual truth and lies. To do so we must read God's Word and measure what we hear against that. If words are in harmony with what the Bible teaches then this is the truth.
  • BSP on Psalms 107 - 7 years ago
Verse 20 Jehovah God's word has the power to heal us if we apply what we read from the Bible.

29 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbor? ... 2019 and nothing has change, who is my neighbor?
  • Obbie Beal on Luke 9 - 7 years ago
"55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. 56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them"... again, we learn Jesus stayed focused on His 1 mission SALVATION.
  • Russell Lukenbill - In Reply on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
Something I noticed is that when God said ,"Let there be Light", that was not the sun or moon, because he does not create those until day three. Just a thought.
  • Mary s - In Reply on Matthew 1 - 7 years ago
Mary's mom was from tribe of Levi, her dad from tribe of Judah, therefore Christ is called the King Priest.
  • I AM THAT MICHAEL ISAAC DALE: on Leviticus 26 - 7 years ago
The wicked fabricate a dispute and lie of their own death saying, We all willfully sin. Yet, it is written of Christ, Whosoever abides in him sins not: whosoever sins has not seen him, neither known him. He that commits sin is of the devil for the devil sins from the beginning. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin And whosoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Believe thou this?
  • Obbie Beal on Luke 6 - 7 years ago
verse 46 above "And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say"? Jesus made this verse Soooo simple it need no interpretation, and thank Jehovah GOD for HIS plan of forgiveness and Salvation through Jesus .
  • Diamond M Crumpton-Scott - In Reply on Leviticus 26 - 7 years ago
The willful sining that you speak of causes loss of inheritance ruling with Christ. Only children can inheirit, so nonbelievers are not the subject. Inheiriting the Kingdom is not the same as entering. You can enter a house it doesnt mean you inheirit it. Salvation is not the issue as He has bought and paid for you. The Holy Spirit seals you until He comes back, Ephesians 4:30, 1 Cor 6:19-20.
  • Diamond M Crumpton-Scott - In Reply on Leviticus 26 - 7 years ago
We get better at sining less when we renew our mind with the bible, our spiritual food for spiritual growth, Ephesians 4:22-24. But some believers are babies in Christ and dont grow and walk as unsaved ppl, 1 Corinthians 3 1-3. But being a carnal believer doesn't mean your not saved for even Paul says he was, Romans 7:14-15. We work for rewards ruling with Christ in the new heaven Earth.
  • Diamond M Crumpton-Scott - In Reply on Leviticus 26 - 7 years ago
Once we believe we are giving a spirit born of God that cannot sin bc sin cannot enter heaven thats why we must die first. Our flesh is sin itself as it wont stop sinning, Rom 7 16-20 . As we know we are His we can try to sin less to avoid temporal punishment onEarth. 1 John 5 18. Which is why Christ had to die. He gave us a new man spirit of God which is always at war with our old man flesh .
  • Diamond M Crumpton-Scott - In Reply on Leviticus 26 - 7 years ago
Again 1 John 5:3 is out of context. Read the whole chapter. It says whosever believes in Christ is born of God and we know we love God abd his children if we obey. Two separate situations. Going further it states that those who believe have overcome thru their faith. Verse 12. He who has the son has life. Present tense. One time event.
  • Gary Olsen - In Reply on Ezekiel 1 - 7 years ago
What Ezekiel saw was a vision given to him by God. In Ezekiel 11:24 and 25, this is clearer. John was also given visions by our Lord. In Rev. 4:2 and 17:3, John writes about this.
  • Diamond M Crumpton-Scott - In Reply on Leviticus 26 - 7 years ago
We do not get eternal judgement aka hell, John 3:18. Believers go to the Judgement Seat of Christ, which is for rewards and or the loss thereof. 1 Cor 3 10-15, 1 Cor 9 25, Rom 18 4-10. God is just and merciful. He shows mercy in all who believe will be in heaven and just as only those who serve Him will have an inheritance in heaven. 1 Peter 1 4 :inheritance resevered in heaven, it is not heaven.
  • Diamond M Crumpton-Scott - In Reply on Leviticus 26 - 7 years ago
We all willfully sin. We lie, lust, covet, hate, argue, etc. Try to go one day without sinning, you can't. Thats why He died for us. We can try to sin less but will never be sinless. Sin is not the issue for believers, its fellowship. We will never get it right, if we could Jesus wouldn't have to had die. Grace is undeserved mercy for sinners who believe.
  • Diamond M Crumpton-Scott - In Reply on Leviticus 26 - 7 years ago
I never said they were done away with. I said that the payment for salvation has been paid in full. Faith with works is for men. God knows our hearts and can see our faith without works which is salvation. Faith with works is discipliship. Showing nonbelievers your works to bring them to faith. Salvation is a free gift, discipliship is hard work.
  • Diamond M Crumpton-Scott - In Reply on Leviticus 26 - 7 years ago
Those who believe but are disobedient there will be chastened on Earth, early death, and or loss of rewards, but salvation is always secured. 1 Cor 3 10-15. Our works and obedience are for fellowship with God. Think of an earthly parent and child. When the child is bad do you say its not yours or do you chasten them in love? Proverbs 3:11-12, 1 Corinthians 11:32, Hebrews 12:5-7.
  • Diamond M Crumpton-Scott - In Reply on Leviticus 26 - 7 years ago
What are sacrifices for? Sin. Ergo sin is not the issue anymore for salvation its belief in the Messiah Jesus Christ. We will never keep the law. We can try but we will fail thats why He lived a perfect life and died tor us so we can live through Him. For believers who do not obey Christ or the commandments the punisjment is not Hell. Thats what He saved us from.

  • Katherine Austin - In Reply on Philippians 4 - 7 years ago
8 years ago my husband had served me with divorce papers I felt my world coming to an end and felt no joy, no peace, and I felt there was no hope in my life. But then while reading the scriptures, through my tears and pain, the Holy Spirit opened my eyes to three verses in Philippians: 6-8. I realized that we receive inner peace from God through Jesus Christ, giving us a reason to rejoice.
  • Marvin R Henry on Leviticus 17 - 7 years ago
I am going to have to disagree with the commentary of Matthew Henry on the subject of blood. quote: The blood is now allowed for the nourishment of our bodies it is no longer appointed to make an atonement for the soul . The first part for our bodies is not correct. Acts 15:20,29. This is new testament. The life of the flesh is still in the blood. Abstaining from blood is still in affect.
