When the variables in the shadow of the turnings of our test wear us down ,,,when THE PRESSURE from the weight of the wind in the storm is so intense it knocks us down! we can get up! WHY? because the joy of the Lord is our strength and our test is no match for one who endured the cross to gain it and impart it to us ... So He is the glory and the lifter of my head that's why It's ALL JOY!!! YES

  • Truth From the Book on Revelation 22 - 7 years ago
@Bruce: Nahum 1:2, "the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies." 1 Thess. 5:9, "For God hath not appointed us to wrath." The wrath of God is NOT for Christians. It is for God's enemies. It will be poured out during the Tribulation. Christians will not be here then!

Angels are indeed a spirit and can not physically mate with human, it is the mystery of the word, Jude 1;12 These are spots in your feast of charity, when they feast with you feeding themselves without fear...Meaning the Sons of men received gifts or wealth in exchange of use of there bodies, so the angels carry out there intentions using them, without so much of fear of wrath of God.

25... there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, 31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. 32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

  • Carolyn on Genesis 3 - 7 years ago
Adam was given instructions by his creator of what he could and could not do and dominion over all living things. That information was past to his help mate. Satan saw an opportunity and used it for his advancement, which introduced sin into the world. And today he has the advantage to deceive but like any guardian or parent. God made it clear of their wrongs and the punishment for disobeying

That's how We are to be, Moving about Letting Our Light Shine, Telling Others The Way of Salvation. Is it the Plan of Satan to ask questions with no answers? The Day is Coming, We will ASK no Guestions. We will Know.
  • Harry on Proverbs 7 - 7 years ago
I think this chapter is as clear as it can be. it is a warning against being led into adultery with a beautiful and willing woman. oh, if I had taken its warning and turned back. now I live with the consequences of a foolish decision for the rest of my life. take heed, all men. she can lead you into a place of instant fun that turns into a lifetime of regret.

The Lord is always watching and taking care of us. No matter what trials we face here in this life and even our souls in death. We must trust in the Lord, as we are his children and like a loving and kind parent, will always watch over us and keep us safe.
  • Timothy Abidoye Oyedele on Joshua 1 - 7 years ago

  • Marsha talley on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
Genesis tells a story of the begining of creation and its purpose although i have many questions such as before there was earth or heaven what was it. God had to created darkness and create light.and if God created heaven where was God before heaven.

"This chapter shows that Promised Land people must be cleansed, dedicated, and doing the work."

A disciple- I find it strange out of all the many things God will bless us with, that you single out 1 Corinthians 6:1–2. I do not think there is enough scripture to elaborate on how we would be capable of doing so. All I, myself, would want is to be a servant to the Lord.
  • Marsha talley on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
Genesis chapter 1 v7 The time came when the Lord God formed a man body from dust of the ground.

although this was not the beganing of creation it was the most sufficient.it is the grand begaining of man kind

  • Joel on Genesis 6 - 7 years ago
C Boyer, the sons of God referred in Genesis 6 are angels you can refer to Job 2vs1 and Job 38vs6-7. And 2 Peter 2vs4-5 clearly states that these angels are under confinement in hell, the first fallen angels of Lucifer are not under hell prison as they are demons which wonder and roam around the earth seeking to turn men away from God.

I absolutely love Psalms 1. It's so true. I wish the whole world would take the time out to read this Psalm. I too really like the third verse. I love when the Bible mentions rivers and streams.
This Psalm is so deep and so comforting. It's filled with what you need to know to make it through this world we have to live in right now.
