    Praise the Lord Jesus
  • A disciple on Jude 1 - 8 years ago
"Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core." These are wicked impostors, wolves in sheep's clothing. "They went OUT from us, because they were not of us." Cain slew his brother because God said his works were evil. Balaam used knowledge of the truth to teach the enemies how to make Israel sin.
  • A disciple on 1 Corinthians 5 - 8 years ago
Paul is showing his love for him? Of course, he's evidently outraged by the unclean spirit being able to breach the wall of grace and protection! How about love for holiness and virtue? The point is NOT once saved always saved; but extreme alarm of danger of eternal destruction for letting sin back in! Giving one over to Satan for destruction in order to POSSIBLY save that one, is no guarantee!
  • A disciple on 1 Corinthians 5 - 8 years ago
Found Sheep; I don't know how you come up with that from this Scripture? The whole point is that God hates sin, especially in those whom He has saved and given EVERY provision for new life. NO FORNICATOR will enter the kingdom of God! In the days of Noah many millions knew at one time, but forsook the LORD for love of the world and selfish gain and perished! We must endure to the end to be saved!
  • A disciple on Proverbs 13 - 8 years ago
"The law of the wise is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death." With the well advised is wisdom. Wisdom is the action taken out of a good understanding and integrity to the truth. Wisdom uses knowledge in the right way. The LAW of the wise directs his heart with discretion by the fear of God, constrained by the love of Christ. We are set by God like the stars for signs and times.
  • A disciple on Proverbs 13 - 8 years ago
"A wise son hears his father's instruction: but a scorner hears not rebuke." This goes along with the saying, Let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. We ourselves may also have experienced that we said something with good intentions to help with good advice for someone's problem, but got answered by hostile or offended response. We want to hear it as our Father's instruction.
  • A disciple on Luke 21 - 8 years ago
The things that must come to pass upon the earth to bring about the end, require for the Elect to be here for witnesses and teachers and signs for instruction from God, to the world of the ungodly; that all men might be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. The fore-warnings of Jesus and His telling us everything that has to happen, is for us to0 befully equipped to endure true to the end.
  • A disciple on Luke 21 - 8 years ago
Ivan; there are so many Scriptures that we are given to guide us through the temptations and troubles of this present evil world. We are not better than our fathers the Saints and Prophets who went before us: the way of the cross appointed to the Master is also our appointment. Remember the Word, "Here is the patience and the faith of the Saints; here are they who keep the commandments of God."
  • A disciple on Genesis 4 - 8 years ago
Jeff, I really appreciate your friendliness, and the very worthy discussion of the Scriptures. Look at the next chapter, verse 4 "..and he begat sons and daughters:" How else would people have been born? I think so much confusion is allowed to enter among the Believers when they are drawn away from reality into a misguided notion that things spoken of in the Bible are necessarily mystical/cryptic.
  • Bruce on Genesis 2 - 8 years ago
Carol: The Fruit is the sin, from the act of disobedience that Satan has planted into Eve. A seed of Temptation that germinated into full-blown disobedience which caused The Fruit of sin. Our bloodline is Tainted we all need a Savior. Without The Blood of The Lamb we are doomed for all Eternity.
  • Kurt Chappell on 1 Corinthians 13 - 8 years ago
Love as God and Jesus teach vs. man’s love of works: Martin Luther describes this difference. Some modern churches and/or members are caught up in pride. It can be destructive for all as we redefine Jesus saying, “ it is finished.” Human pride Jesus had none yet it’s a great sin we follow, doing works for recognition or recompense. Missions teaches me about this most humbling of Christian tenets.
  • Kayode aluko on Matthew 1 - 8 years ago
THIS CHAPTER ENABLE US TO KNOW THAT OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST CAME TO THIS WORLD WITH HOLINESS THUS, WE SHOULD BE HOLY THRUOGH OUT OUR LIFE TIME
  • A disciple on Romans 1 - 8 years ago
"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them." Whether individual men or entire generations; throw away fear of God, truth and integrity; God will give you up to the shame of your own lecherous mind and destruction!
  • A disciple on Luke 21 - 8 years ago
Ivan Egipciaco; The Saints are the salt of the earth which keep it from completely corrupting; and in that sense, you are right. But the fundamental error in the idea you mentioned, is that somehow the ungodly WOULD BE GOOD, if only the Christians were still around. And that is not true. But it is for hardening their hearts and no love of the truth, that God gives them up be no more restrained.
  • A disciple on Luke 21 - 8 years ago
Answering 3/20/2018, Comment by "Ivan Egipciaco" This has become a very popular, albeit completely un-scriptural AND anti-scriptural, and no matter how much someone pretends any specially selected verse to mean something that the entire rest of the Bible contradicts, CAN'T MAKE IT TRUE! Look back to Genesis 11:1-9. The LORD already pronounced doom and foretold Antichrist spirit from the beginning.
  • A disciple on Mark 13 - 8 years ago
"And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven." All the rage of the wicked at the Lord and His Saints in the earth will come to the point of no more restraint; then shall Jesus come to save us!
  • Kurt Chapoell on Psalms 16 - 8 years ago
Thank you God for all you have done (and are doing) for mankind. Our time is great, as born again through Jesus. We know and entrust your prophets messages for our lives. This passage speaks strongly of Jesus coming as King David foretold. I’m a great sinner and love Jesus and God for salvation. And King David could be our first Christian, to know and learn from!
  • Jeff on Genesis 4 - 8 years ago
Cains wife had to be his sister if their were no other people then. However it doesn't mention Adam and Eve having daughters.. Thank you for your comments..
  • Marilyn on Titus 1 - 8 years ago
I am proud to read this chapter because I made a chart based on numbers 23:19.
I read this everyday and whenever I look at the chart. God is not a man , that He
should lie, neither the Son of Man that He should repent: hath He said , and shall
He not do it? Or hath He spoken and shall He not make it good? This "blesses" my
heart to know that my source is God and not man.
  • Patrick Medrano on Genesis 3 - 8 years ago
The first three verse of the Bible reveal the Godhead to us.

1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth
    (God the Father)
1:2 And the earth was without form, and void;and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
    (God the Holy Spirit)
1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
(This light is Jesus) ( John 8:12)
  • Mark on Genesis 2 - 8 years ago
Carol, the fruit is unknown. The Bible does not tell us. It was a fruit that is something that could be eaten. For what would we do if we knew it was some certain fruit? Not ever eat it again? We know by many other Scriptures that it was the devil satan himself NOT as you describe "the consciousness of the mortal human mankind."
  • Rebeka on Acts 3 - 8 years ago
Why did the people marvel that Peter healed the lame man? Christ healed many people and they called him unspeakable things for his miracles. But when Peter healed the lame man they stood in awe of him. Why is that?
  • A disciple on Genesis 2 - 8 years ago
Carol (cont.); We know that there are some very dangerous chemicals in some plants and trees, that have the power to alter one's mind and consciousness, and opens one up to very dark and evil spirits. The tree of knowledge of good and evil I think was something in that direction. God has made everything very good; but has also put Laws around all that He has made, what they're for, and what not!
  • A disciple on Genesis 2 - 8 years ago
Hi Carol; What is it about the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? I think it must (in a certain sense) be a real chemical and biological element in it like other poisonous plants; but also something much more that God knows is in it, that remains a mystery, for the purpose of proving the obedient character: in other words; He said, Thou shalt not eat of it, for in eating of it you will die.
  • A disciple on Revelation 22 - 8 years ago
Lucy; yes and no: the devil is running loose in the earth with a limited ability, and knowing that he has only a very short time left, rages in a fury against the Lord and His people. As we are in the hands of Jesus and the Father and have the Spirit dwelling in us; the wicked one can't touch us whenever he wants. The ungodly who cast away a good conscience and all restraint feed on his deception.
  • Rhonda Bogan on Psalms 16 - 8 years ago
    AMEN!
Eric Sweeney In agreement! There's nothing greater than being on the Lord's side! God shall lead, guide, keep and protect Us Always! We Always Win With God On Our Side!!! Glory To God of our salvation, Whom Shall We Fear The Lord Is The Strength Of Our Lives! Praise JESUS
  • Rich on Genesis 4 - 8 years ago
not his best, no real effort on Cain part... Cain was is like Esau, another person in the Holy Scriptures who didn't care, and gave no effort too.
  • A disciple on Revelation 20 - 8 years ago
There are those whose names will be found written in the Book of Life! It does not say, that everyone who is judged will be thrown into the lake of fire; but those whose names aren't written in the Book of Life! In another part it also talks about the Nations of the saved, whom the Saints will rule over. Jesus came to save men's lives not destroy them! How many like Lazarus the beggar are waiting!
  • A disciple on Romans 6 - 8 years ago
Will Virella; What it means that our old man is crucified with Christ, and that the body of sin is destroyed, and that from now on we should not serve sin? It means that when we repent and ask the Lord Jesus to forgive us for all we've done and are then really and truly converted; Jesus breaks the power of sin's hold of us, and we can start our life anew; no longer a stupid and helpless slave!
  • Brenda on Acts 15 - 8 years ago
Pray always for the Lord to know you, ask for the Holy Spirit to teach you the word, read the same chapter over and over and pray each time for the word to get into your soul, above all else pray that His will be done on earth as it is in heaven and to teach you. Don't let go of him hold fast to the hem of his garment through prayer and reading the bible.
