Verse 6~Jehovah God is good and everything that he ask of us is for our good. This should lead us to praise him.

Romans 6 teaches to the believer we must obey God turn to obedience to enter heaven. Its sin to death or obedience to life.. So simple ! But most are already shouting not of works so making they own god and calling him Jesus that's why he says "depart from me worker of iniquity i never knew you"twisting the word of God is what the masses out there do..not of works doesn't mean you don't have to obey

Verse 1~Jesus not only died for us but he was willing to suffer in the flesh. As fleshly humans we must examine whether we are willing to imitate Christ and suffer if needed to honor Jehovah God and support his sovereignty.

Verse 6~Being fleshly minded and letting the flesh control our life means death. If we want life we must strive to be spiritually minded.

We must be prepared to defend our faith, but we must do so with meekness or mildness and with respect for others.

ALZEPP; I started reading the commentary as you suggested; and found it quite empty. There's nothing in the Scriptures, or in ancient history to support this person's fanciful ideas. But there was one both in Scripture, and ancient writings, who fits perfectly this description of a conqueror and an archer and one whose appearance and exploits have covered the earth and remain a fundamental belief.

Verse 12~Jehoshaphat humbly admitted in prayer that he did not know what to do. We see that Jehovah God valued his humility and he blessed him for coming to him in prayer and seeking guidance.

Verse 14~We must put on Jesus Christ like we would a garment. We do this by putting on the true Christian personality and following closely his example.

Verse 39~Jesus' disciples saw and heard the things that he said and did. God made sure that these things were written down by his disciples for our benefit.

Verse 5~We should strive to have the mind of Christ. To do so we must get to know his pattern of thinking by studying the Bible and applying the things we learn in our lives.
