What can we do for our Lord?
Here I am Lord send me....
  • Stephen B. on Isaiah 66 - 8 years ago
    This is Israel (1948):

Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

Kieran88; True said! For the churches of the Gentiles the Lord allows that one day may be esteemed above another, or all days esteemed alike; each man as he purposes by his own conscience toward God. The Sabbath was not changed. Constantine ordained Sun Day to be kept in honor of the Sun god whom he also worshiped after he "became a Christian." I do not read commentators. I do the research myself.

Ps. 37:14 "The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation." Isa. 14:24-25 "...Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand: that I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them,.."

In our hard labour, comes abundance to share with the needy, turning the needy to greed of your own labour of love- to share- to Gift- and to not expect anything in return- but to be anonymous in your Sharing- and Gifting, or the applause of the Virtue you exercised as to please God in your silent deed that no one sees, is the greatest reward for the soul, and surely you will see God and Paradise

    34. For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
  • Kieran88 on Revelation 1 - 8 years ago
in the commentary for revelation 1. it mentions the vision took place on the lords day, christian sabbath, on first day of the week. this is not true! unless i have miss understood the commentary. the sabbath has never been changed. Jesus himself rested on sabbath the day after his death. Resurrected 1st day of week (sunday) but that is not the new sabbath. sabbath was made at creation. :)

To me this reminds me that if we remain humble and holy in honorng him and making our requests known to him in prayer that he will do the same by honoring and hearing us when we do pray . As he speaks in his word 1 Peter 5:6-7 King James Version KJV 6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7 Casting all your care upon him for he careth for you.

"Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand." Now a Parable is a way teaching a moral and spiritual truth by means of some common and familiar thing. So it is not for want of intelligence, or that there must be some kind of secret code to be deciphered; but a moral and spiritual condition that reverences the truth.

"..Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given." Jesus makes wise the simple, and gives us knowledge and understanding about all things; while the ungodly, who reject all God's instruction and counsel, are left to go their scornful ways without knowledge. No matter how hard we try we can't force them to understand what they cannot hear.

To Giulo Figlio no typo, the Bible has no errors. Exodus 2:15-18 Now the priest of Midian...And when they came to Reuel their father, Reuel is Moses father-in-law and in Exodus 3:1 he is called "Jethro" the priest of Midian... Numbers 10:29 And Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Reuel,"Jethro" the Medianite, Moses' father-in-law,... No typo's no errors!

  • Giulo figlio on Numbers 10 - 8 years ago
10:29, I think Hobab is moses' brother-in-law, son of Reuel, the midianite. Big typo here. I checked the hebrew torah, exodus 2:18, and numbers 10:29, the name for Reuel in hebrew is spelled the same way. So here in 10:29 should say Reuel and not Raguel.

Devour the proud with the fire of his fury. Establish the poor and afflicted to follow the Lord. We see that coming today. One God The Lord is Great and we are his people those that believe on Jesus. The pure language of Love. The great proud boasters full of self serving pride will be removed. The humble will be exalted.
