As to you question about the angels possibly inhabiting the earth before men; I'm not completely convinced that that is in the Scriptures. Howbeit there is a long time teaching out there in a few circles, that there are some coded messages in a handful of verses; which "they" suppose suggests that very thing, and a cataclysmic event.

I had some thoughts I wanted to share with you. I hope they come over clearly enough as I had kind of a hard time finding just how to put in words. I think the point has to do with where we place our faith... on outward observance of the Law, and putting ourselves under a yoke that actually can misrepresent the character and nature of our grace and peace in Christ, with respect also to our place won by Christ's shed blood and sacrifice to redeem us to God and enact our Adoption as children, over servants that we were before.

The Lord Jesus said many times about how "...you shall have whatsoever you say " and in the minds of most of us, that tremendous word has been a great inspiration and encouragement both for every trial and difficulty that we should encounter and for the unsearchable wonder of His open invitation to ask WHATSOEVER WE DESIRE when we pray! In the context of what the Apostle is teaching here, our speech and confession coroborates our very standing in God's sight by the form of our religion. As with all of God's truth, the "tip of the iceberg" as we may first come to see, is still part of the whole, which is far greater and deeper than can immediately be seen. The power and authority that God has given to man to pronounce in faith, to bring things about, we are still far from fully grasping. But this is what is implied in the things and manners we take as our religion.

Vicki.. I just made a comment.. and now I don't see it. Young earth creation is what we see in Genesis. The age of the earth is about 6000 to 7000 years old according to the biblical timeline.

Vicki.. I totally believe that the earth is young and definitely believe it's only about 6000 or 7000 years old, according to the biblical record and timeline. He also gave us plants for meat (food) so I fully believe that every single edible plant/herb is put here to use for nutrition and healing purposes as necessary. Everything else is hogwash. (And yes, I do also eat meat.)

Hi Bruce; I wanted to add a little to support your efforts. Luke 22:28-29 "Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations. And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;" In reading all that the Lord said in the last days before He suffered ( Mt. 24-26; Mk. 13-14; Lk. 21-22; Jn. 13-18) there's NO MISTAKING that Christ and His followers ARE appointed tribulation!

I believe we are at the beginning of the tribulation. Look around, abortion, homosexuality, the loss of love of one's neighbors, the twisting of scripture, the threat of war. As our Lord said "Look up, for the salvation draws nigh!" I don't know when I don't worry about that. Might be today might be next week, it may be as I am being led to my death. COME LORD JESUS! !

Thank God for the living Word much greater then the written word, the Living word is Christ Jesus, not only was he the lamb of God but also the blood of God, the living word is God.
