    very judgemental
  • A disciple on Judges 2 - 8 years ago
"And yet they would not hearken unto their judges, but they went a whoring after other gods.." People a responsible for their own ways and choices! Many good Christians have parents or brothers and sisters or children who despise and reject the LORD JESUS CHRIST so they can give themselves over to fornication and lawlessness and fully let Satan into their hearts! Its not the Christian's fault!
  • A disciple on Luke 7 - 8 years ago
"And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, See this woman? I entered into your house, you gave me no water for my feet: but she has washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head." Some really believe that their sins don't accrue much debt with the LORD and while showing outward gestures like inviting Jesus to eat at their house they're too busy finding fault to love.
  • A disciple on Luke 7 - 8 years ago
"And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both." "Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?" God commands all men everywhere to repent and believe the Glad Tidings of Christ. Our salvation depends upon our being reconciled, AND a character and conduct in holiness and truth and righteousness.

When James and John wanted to call LITERAL FIRE down from heaven and destroy the samaritians JESUS REBUKED them saying the son of man came not to destroy mens lives but to save mens lives, which proves his FIRE is not LITERAL but a Spritual fire which is the H.G. BAPTISM, CONSUMING mens evil Adamic nature. God is spirit but God is also LOVE and also a consuming fire to destroy our satanic nature.
  • Ayesha on Mark 12 - 8 years ago
This was such a beautiful chapter especially the parables that Jesus gave of the husbandman I felt like he was truly describing his sacrifice for us.

  • Abayomi on Judges 2 - 8 years ago
And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the LORD, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel.. Was there a failure on the part of the last generation that knew God and His deeds in handing over the baton properly to the next generation? Let us heed the word of God in Deuteronomy 6;6-9
  • Abayomi on Judges 1 - 8 years ago
Partial obedience is Disobedience. God's demand from His children is total absolute obedience and confidence in Him. We can always ask Him for help and am sure He will provide. That's why He gave us His Holy Spirit.

I believe one of the reason David was chosen is because he has passion for the sheep. And was diligent in looking after them. With such a heart, looking after the sheep of God i.e the Israelites would be well done.Unlike the others who dint have a heart for others in vs 7.

What a wonderful promise we have, from our creator! God the Father, Son n Holy Ghost, that in all thing we can overcome our trials n temptation, be it sicknesses, family, job or whatever is troubling you. We can beat this through God who loves us. Just have faith in him who loves you
  • Bobby on Romans 3 - 8 years ago
Yes we need to ONLY trust in the blood of Jesus but if while were trusting we seemingly "sin" as life under law would say, we must understand we are no less righteous or worthy of God then we were 10 minutes before we missed God. And that is where the devil is messing with the church and messing them up. Jesus said I wish you were either hot or cold. Don't try to mix law with grace. Your Righteous
  • A disciple on Jonah 4 - 8 years ago
"But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was very angry...I pray thee, O LORD, was not this my saying, when I was yet in my country?" There are several times in the Bible when the righteous get angry at the evildoers. The cruelty and violence of the heathen Nineveh was unforgivable to righteous Jonah, to find any justification for bringing the Word of God to that wicked people to find mercy.
  • A disciple on Jonah 1 - 8 years ago
"Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me." The wicked and the ungodly will scream and protest and seek every means to silence the servants of the LORD; but they don't know that it is of the LORD's mercies to warn them to repent, before they are finally brought to eternal judgment. We must see eye to eye with the LORD in all His purposes.
  • Rhona Livingstone on Romans 8 - 8 years ago
You know this verse is so appropriate all the time but today its so significant. It has brought back to memory how we are not to stress ourselves. Why? As it plainly states in all these things. What things? Everything the good the bad the disappointments, in friends and family we have to take a step back and ponder on the word. Even in those situations when the enemy comes to take away your hopes and joy that we are strong in God and He has our backs and we can conquer all things, but only with His help. Sometimes its hard to do so but we cannot give up or give in. We are strong and created in His image and we are conquerors in Jesus name. The most High God. Amen? So be strong and stay strong through it all. We are winners.

  • Mild Bill on Psalms 22 - 8 years ago
Death is the great separation.First we die to this world, the second death is being cast into the lake of fire, separated from God forever. The sacrificial death of Jesus, the innocent of sin,was accepted by God the Father,as payment for sinners."There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."He has done this, his love for you
