  • Marshal Albritton on Ephesians 4 - 8 years ago
Through all of my filth, grime and annoyant complaints, The Lord and Savior has shown to me his mercy far more than I deserve. Even daily when I fall, he is right beside me to help me up. I LOVE THEM = The Father, The Son, The Holy Ghost.
  • SonOfGod on Ephesians 4 - 8 years ago
Thank You, Lord! You're above all, through all, and in all! We give You the highest praise which is Hallelujah and Glory to your name, Most High God!
  • Robert J. DeHaan on Matthew 1 - 8 years ago
His Name is Emmanuel, meaning God with us. I love knowing the truth found in the Scriptures that the King of kings and Lord of lords is with us. Yesterday, Today and Tommorow OUR GOD is with us! He knew you and I before He knit us in our mothers womb. He knows the names of each star in the Heavens. Our Lord Jesus Christ was born of a woman, to say at the Cross, " It is finished " We Are His! Amen!
  • Servant of God on Psalms 29 - 8 years ago
The voice of the Lord is a two edged sword for praise and for correction. God will forget the sinner who will not hear instruction and who will not repent. To repent is to reverse direction, to acknowledge that God exists, that he is merciful and severe. What would God want with the reprobate in this world. That one is of no use to anyone. This world is full of mediocrity and outright evil!!!
  • Love for Truth on Ephesians 4 - 8 years ago

  • Steve Vargas on 2 Samuel 6 - 8 years ago
Notice the break in protocol, yes the Ark was in Abinadab house but he and his sons were not sanctified to oversee..
    1 Samuel 7:1
And the men of Kirjathjearim came, and fetched up the ark of the LORD, and brought it into the house of Abinadab in the hill, and sanctified Eleazar his son to keep the ark of the LORD.
  • Steve Vargas on 2 Samuel 6 - 8 years ago
an interesting view is, although God does not strike us dead today on this fashion the results can be as damaging when we attempt to function in a role of ministry we are not ordained to... James 3:1 (KJV)

3 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.
  • Steve Vargas on 2 Samuel 5 - 8 years ago
What jumps out at me here, is how amazing God and his ways past finding out, no doubt he could have went before him head to the Philistine but made him fetch a compass to catch them from behinds and to wait for the sound on top of the trees, wow that is just intriguing how God chooses to accomplish things from being able to actually do it any which way He wants yet he considers us to all detail.
  • A disciple on 1 Peter 1 - 8 years ago
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to HIS ABUNDANT MERCY begat us again into living hope, by the again-rising of Jesus Christ from death," All that Jesus is, all that He said and did, all His prayers for us, did the Father answer in Jesus' rising again from dead. The words and deeds shall be for ever and all that for now opposes shall be conquered and removed.
  • A disciple on Micah 1 - 8 years ago
"For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel." If it be so with the Chosen Nation and the House that is called by the LORD's Name; shall it not be the same with those who have been grafted in, when they do the same things? In the world of the beginning it was the apostasy and sin of the "sons of God" that CAUSED the whole world to be filled with corruption!
  • A disciple on Micah 1 - 8 years ago
"..I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof: and all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate.." In turning away from all hearing of the Spirit of truth and refusing instruction shall the foundations be discovered and overthrown.

Matt 24 my belief on this is that the church goes through the beginning of birth pains. We will be harpatz caught up pre-trib... Before the trumpets blow.
  • Lynn on Matthew 24 - 8 years ago
I am totally pre-trib and here is why 1st and foremost why would the Lord beat his Bride up before the marriage? The Tribulation is for Jews. Saved gentiles are the bride along with Jews who believe also. Isaiah 26:20 Come my people enter in to thy chambers and shut thy doors about thee : hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be over past.
  • Dan on Psalms 121 - 8 years ago
It is comforting to know the almighty always has your back! Especially the faithful.
  • Librarygal143 on Isaiah 26 - 8 years ago
I shall always and forever trust in the Lord my God!
  • Steve Vargas on 2 Samuel 4 - 8 years ago
What i see as the main point here is the danger of taking matters into your own hands, here they thought they were doing a service but they were ignorant of Gods Law in regards to his anointed, although Isboseth was not anointed he was the son of the anointed and although Saul was no longer in good terms his anointing was regarded highly because it initially came from above, that is true reverance
  • Watchful on Proverbs 24 - 8 years ago
The answer to this question posted by Rita is simple. The various versions stem from two veins:
Man's desire to produce a more accurate version (such as the NASB) and man's rebellion against the established Word of God. If sinful man doesn't like what he reads, he simply rewords it, or deletes it. Man will answer for his rebellion, be rest assured.
  • Eric on Ephesians 4 - 8 years ago
Sometimes when I read verses like that I wonder who all is. Because that word is stated so many times in that verse it makes me believe it is of great importance of understanding that message. So I would turn to the concordance or something like it and get a good idea of what "all" really means. When you do that you find that 'All' can be translated as 'everyone', 'everything', etc. But also importantly, 'all' originates from the word 'chayah' which means to live, to revive, to keep alive, certainly give, promise life, nourish up, preserve, repair, and restore, etc. So now, if you go back and read that verse replacing 'all' with all those words I just said the verse sounds really cool and especially shows me again how God expresses himself in such an amazingly awesome and powerful and GIVING way and so generously pours out his glory on "all" his children. Amen
  • Alex on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago
IMHO the NAPKIN being in a separate place implies a another place in time there will be another resurrection of greater signficance, His head is symbolic of God, thus another Resurrection in TIME LIKE ABOUT 2000 YRS God himself wd rise IN the hearts OF MAN,our hearts is like a Garden ( Gathsemene ) where a SEED will be sown b/c of his death God is gonna pour out his spirit ( his word) on all flesh

  • Linda on John 3 - 8 years ago
Re: Kevin - If you TRULY Believed in Jesus you would "Want" To Obey Him. Jesus Is Not a liar. Jesus says in Mark16:16 He that "Believeth Is Baptized" Shall Be Saved. All who don't believe what Jesus says All who think He is a liar : May have Heard Of Jesus But they Don't Really "Know" Jesus. All who Dont "Know" Jesus: "Will" Hear Jesus say, I Never Knew You. Matt.7:21-23

  • Jeff Berry on John 15 - 8 years ago
Jesus gave reasons why seed might not germinate (Chp 13; including not dying Chp 12). While groweth is essential fruit is the reproduction of a kind. I don't think we will always know when fruit has been produced (Chp 4)
  • Jeff Berry on Romans 8 - 8 years ago
    B) While there are verses within this chapter that we all have memorized and like to quote often, it is important for those who have been deeply scarred by a sinful past to remember that each and every verse in this chapter is specifically addressing the redeemed spirit that is residing in a body that is yet to be redeemed! And there are no exceptions. This is true from verse 1 to verse 39!
  • Lou on John 11 - 8 years ago
To go with my comment above, if a 1st century Middle Eastern king approached a foreign city on a donkey, he was coming in humility, and peace, as Jesus did riding into Jerusalem..but, if he came riding a horse, it meant he had every intention of taking over, and owning the city....He's coming back....He won't be riding a donkey this time. (Rev19:11)
