Randy; You should first actually read the Scriptures all the way through; and not just once or twice! Jesus said, "WHEN YOU FAST..." ( Matthew 5) and again concerning those who are strongly bound by Satan in any kind of torment or affliction: "THIS KIND GOES NOT OUT EXCEPT BY PRAYER AND FASTING." I have to wonder how someone dares approach the Holy Scriptures with the idea of making his own ideas!

Jesus did the fasting so we dont fast anymore .... I wonder why christians mimic the things Jesus did ... did he not say... i become poor so we become rich ... he become sickness so we become healthy.... jesus have done all those things for us so we dont have to suffer the way he sufferde... all we have to do is rely and put our faith on the finished work of Jesus.... In response to Sinner82, this is the old testament before Jesus came. God's judgment was harsher before Jesus. He did not enjoy destroying the wicked, that's why He sent His son to die so that sinners like us would no longer be destroyed, but have a way for forgiveness.

I love Gen. 15, IN kjv. Abraham was a type of God the Father. Thats what abraham means exaulted FATHER, IN REALITY ITS God the father that wants a posterity,God wants to be the father of many nations. Just as Abraham offered up his only son it was a metaphor for God almighty offering up his only son CHRIST JESUS,In reality its Christ that is gonna be multiplied as the stars of heaven. When I was spoken to by my Almighty Creator who chose a messenger from heaven I was given an important message that became fulfilled prophesy of Isaiah and Revelation 12:4,5; Hebrews 1:6, and Matt. 1:23; I was told a woman and not a church and not the nation of Israel would and has since given birth to the male child. But churches attribute that prophesy to their churches or Zionist Israel.

WOW! this is the answer to why one will will not turn from wicked ways.... wickedness become a joy to such a person...

i believe this was the law and it was established for the people, then... now we are sons and daughters of Grace.. and his grace is suffient to us... we are not saved by our works, least any man should boast.. it is a gift from God.. but the wages of sin is still death... so let us live according to his word,, In Christ Jesus.. Our God is the only God to be worshiped. He is the Author of every situations in our life's. Anything that happens to you, you must know that God Has approved it whether bad or good, and the Word says give thanks to everything. I have a trust in Him because He is Love, the branch that bears fruits He cares and prunes it for He is the Faithful God.
