What a wonderful thing that these people had removed the living god from his rightful place in a nation just like America and many others and yet raised up leadership that took a stand pleasing to himself god is yet merciful but scripture indicates that there will be a reckoning day for sinners and nations refusing to promote his holy word

Paul preach the gospel of grace.
  • A disciple on Luke 6 - 8 years ago
Jim; That is such an excellent question! Certainly VERY IMPORTANT with regards to our accountability of ourselves and our brethren, and something we should know instinctively as Christians! The way I see it, in the context of the whole thing that the Lord was teaching; its about not being a hypocrite, and first knowing one's self well enough and being clean, so as to REALLY be a help to others.
  • Katrina on Revelation 20 - 8 years ago
Souls we are to tell people about Jesus and what he did for them at Calvary he died for all so we wouldn't have to end up in a devil's hell he said who so ever will call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved not hopefully or maybe but shall believe on the Lord God , souls, souls Souls for the kingdom of God we are to tell others of him and pray also for souls
  • Marshal Albritton on Psalms 3 - 8 years ago
Verse 5 I love it when at the end of the day that I can go to sleep in perfect peace, knowing that God has forgiven me of all my sins confessed and also that He holds my salvation in His hands. That is a restful night!
  • Abel Israel - 8 years ago
It was as a result of their cry and repentance that God sent Gideon to deliver Israel from the hand of the midianites. Sin separate us from God, proverbs 28:1 said the righteous is as bold as a lion. Righteousness is what gives us boldness to confront our enemies.
  • Abel Israel on Judges 6 - 8 years ago
Eaglesrock, in my own view of this chapter: Is not that Gideon is afraid, is because Israel had already sinned and God is punishing them base on their sins, because the bible said fear is a torment, and fear also is having faith in the adversary to harm us where as God has already given Israel to the enemy to do them harm because of their sins in worshipping other god Baal.

The Natural affection in 1:31 means LOVE. So without natural affection means hatred. It can also mean that, scientifically, naturally positive attracts negative. Unlike poles should repel but that is not the case today. Men are attracted to men and likewise the woman. Verse 32 says, not only those who do or engage themselves in such things are worthy of death but also those who approve of it.

  • A disciple on Psalms 127 - 8 years ago
"Lord, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account of him!" God knows what man is, and how and why He made us! Man doesn't know anything until God gives him understanding and teaches him. Men refuse knowledge and are too proud to be told the truth; yet they will open their mouths to contradict, oppose and speak evil of things they know nothing about.

Each for eachother, both for the Lord, David and Johnathans love, as should our relationships with people hopefully we seek to he like.
  • A disciple on Amos 1 - 8 years ago
Syria represents the ancient family who did not go with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to seek the One True and Living God Almighty; but clave to their idols and the heathen way. The Palestinians were heathen neighbors who NEVER repented, always made themselves enemies of the Lord. Tyre and Zidon were traitors and hypocrites and heathen at heart. Ammon were evil children whose parents were once saved.
  • Cephas on Psalms 40 - 8 years ago
Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done. And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers, So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.
  • A disciple on Luke 6 - 8 years ago
"Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:" Luke 6:37 This is a fundamental truth of the Spirit influencing the Saints' whole demeanor and course in life. We do not take our fellow servants by the throat and demand payment of his 50 cents while the Lord has frankly forgiven us 50,000's! But there is also a Satanic influence that misuses this great Word against anyone who obeys the Lord and rebukes sin in the brother or in the Congregation. How many times when I was speaking to a so-called brother in the Lord about the Cross, and walking in holiness, and the purpose of our being here in the last times that all of a sudden they would burst out with, "Judge not!" or, "Call the Cops: You get out of here!" The effects of Jesus' Glad Tidings upon men in the real world, as opposed to the sheltered fantasy world of many church people, are quite remarkable and noteworthy. Why is it MOST OFTEN the response of a church-person when seeing and hearing the true grace of God in someone they explode in anger and accusation, and pouring out hatred and hostility? It wasn't only the Jews that became the Synagogue of Satan when they turned away and rejected the faith!

Rev. 12 (cont. 2) Isn't it a shame that Countries and Peoples who do not know the Lord, nor follow the Bible, have to rebuke with disdain the immorality and pride of America; the land of the Bible and Churches on every corner? The ones with the greatest privilege and HAVING the knowledge of Jesus and the Bible, are become the disgust and laughing stock to the Nations. Read Revelation 17:16-18!
  • A disciple - 8 years ago
Revelation 12 (cont.) It is wishful thinking and deep ignorance and/or willful blindness to imagine that this Country is somehow going to be a refuge for Israel or that it is not among the most apostate and filthy and perverted in the world! Even in Countries that have forever been anti Christian and hold on to their ancient idols, know that much; and strongly condemn the corruption and arrogance!
  • A disciple on Revelation 12 - 8 years ago
Steve; The United States is definitely WITHOUT A DOUBT mentioned in the Scriptures! The Beast that first arose from out of the earth left an irreversible damage upon the psyche of mankind rendering the whole world heathen and in a defiant and disobedient rage against the heavens till Christ comes. The transgressors are coming quickly to the full, and the many have already turned away after Satan.
  • A disciple on Luke 6 - 8 years ago
Steve Morrow; GREAT SCRIPTURES! GREAT, GREAT SCRIPTURES!! But as it was foretold of the MANY SPURIOUS PROFESSORS in the end of days; they have turned away their ears from hearing the truth, and are turned to fables and false teachers after their own earthly sensual minds; and the days are coming (AGAIN) when they that kill us will think to be doing God a service; because they cannot be corrected!
  • Rotimi Ajagbaye on Mark 14 - 8 years ago
Jesus made example by praying during tough time. So also he wants us not to be afraid when tough and difficult times comes our way, we should pray just like Jesus Christ did in mark 14. It is a great example shown by Jesus Christ for us Christian to always remember and do same should we find ourselves in such predicament.

  • Kokouvi Jondoh on Psalms 91 - 8 years ago
I love the last three verses of psalm 91 because for me, it's all we need to conquer the world : Love of God. Psalm 91vs 14-15-16.
  • Emmanuel Moses on Luke 6 - 8 years ago

  • Janet Abreu on 1 Samuel 2 - 8 years ago
God is good, and his mercy endures forever. God is good he gives power and strength when we pray. And we all will declare with one voice, as others pray and rejoice. With hearts and our mouth we now say GOD is good. We simply serve a wonderful savior. What more can he do? He is worthy to be praise, he is beautiful beyond description, he gives and shows us his mercy, and love everyday. Praise GOD
  • A disciple on Matthew 11 - 8 years ago
Lou; we should never confess defeat when it comes to our salvation, and the things that the Scriptures PLAINLY tell us we have in Christ! Saved from our sins, complete deliverance and freedom and all provided for pertaining to life and piety! The enemy is a liar, and goes about seeking whom he may devour with his lies! Don't listen to him! Believe the Word!
  • A disciple on Matthew 21 - 8 years ago
Lou; are you saying then, that we should just dismiss everything the LORD said about being wise and doing what He says? And what about ALL the writings of the Apostles and Prophets, who spoke in the Name of the LORD, condemning the wicked for NOT keeping God's commandments? Do you think God is afraid that we might think we can save ourselves if we obey Him? "IF YOU LOVE ME, KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS."
  • A disciple on Revelation 6 - 8 years ago
Steve (cont.) as to the part in 2nd Thessalonians about "..until he be taken out of the way;" does not mean the Rapture of the Church, but the Holy Spirit giving them up and taking away all restraint. This also is the Archaic meaning in the number six hundred sixty six; overflowing all bounds and restraints by a multiplicative; as it is written in the 2nd Psalm "Let us break their bands asunder.."
