Acts of love and kindness shown to Paul who was in chains made him pray for the Philippine church that his God shall provide all their needs Phil 4:19. There are lots of true men and women of God in the churches now in chains of sickness, financial difficulty, marital challenges etc. Let us pray for them and extend acts of charity so Phil4:19 can be our portion.

God and Jesus are one they were one before the world began. He always was and always will be. It always was God the Father, God the Son and god the Holy Ghost. They all have separate duties and description but they are one. Jesus did the work God gave him to do and finished the work.

During the reading of God's Word something was brought to my attention that Jesus might be trying to tell someone right now. We are all going to fall in love with something beautiful in this life. That thing or person or concept will not last very long even in this life our time is short. But one thing is for sure God's Word will stay with us forever. If we invest in the temporary we will only gain temporary rewards. But there is opportunity to invest in something eternal. We ought to pick one thing today that we know is eternal like the sharing of God's Word even at the expense of something we else might do. Amen.

Some of the Blessed character traits in the Beatitudes are not just "nice suggestions" but absolutely essential character traits which must be present and working in us if we hope to receive those Blessings promised. THAT is the WORK which we MUST DO that will be the LIGHT shining!

Beth; Jesus cancelled our debt PAID IN FULL by His own blood! Thanks to Jesus we are forgiven and saved from our sins, reconciled to God and accepted for His sake! Amen! Verses 17-19 are speaking to things going on in my life right now. I thank God for his word. I want to retaliate, but the word of God says no, don t do that. I am compelled by the Holy Spirit to pray instead. Thank you God for taking care of me.

Hi Audrey, I agree that the blood of lambs and goats could not wash the sins of the Jews or our sins away, but the Blood of Christ does! FREE from sin! Now serve Him in righteousness, HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, not my tears. Holy to the LORD!

Since Adam ate of the tree that's when sin fell on the world. Not the woman, but the man cause God forbidded him first not to eat of the tree. And God sent his son Jesus into the world to give us a way to the tree of life. Salvation through his son Jesus making right what the first man messed up. That's why it's so much killing and wickedness going on in this world because of Adam. We must repent.

I believe some need to realize that Jesus fully canceled our sin debt. Repenting, believing, receiving faith from God in Jesus and being sealed by the Holy Spirit until the day of Redemption is a Finished work...Finished by Jesus death, burial and resurrection. We are Christians.

"... And woman reflect's man's glory". 1 Cor. 11:7 NLT Comment: If a man is wicked he will be will treat people badly and be without honor. A wicked man heart is dark and inglorious. When a wicked man treats others badly, especially his wife, the woman reflects the pain and negativity he's placed onto her back to him by showing h him dishoner and contempt for his abusiveness.

Cheryl; We are not only flesh and bones, but living souls. It is the spirit in us that animates our bodies. The spirit is the life and the breath; and the life is in the blood. To think that a man is only a body makes no sense: for how then do you account for the decay and corruption that consumes a dead body? The spirit of a man present in the body shows he is alive; and the spirit absent, death!

He was the Glad Tidings of Salvation come in the flesh, to give His life a ransom and save us from our sins and to teach us by word and example what we must do in order to be found worthy of really and finally obtaining the benefit. We who believe in Jesus, love Him and we work out our salvation with fear and trembling, to stay true to Him, and to be a light for others to see Jesus in us. God made us to be His children. Sin has polluted our conscience, marred the image of God in our character, and made us unfit for His presence. Sin brought us death, and works out death in us. The Lord Jesus Christ was manifested to take away our sins and reconcile us to God and has given us His Spirit into our hearts to help us do the work of changing into that man or woman after God's own heart, as He originally intended for us to be.

Behold, I make all things new.

I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. I give all praise and glory to Jesus for all HE has done for me. I cannot make it without the strength that He gives me to get through the trials we go through in life. I praise Him for holding my hand and carrying me through it all.

As long as we are in the world we will have tribulation, and every generation has had something serious to deal with. While we see so many bad things happening, and getting worse and worse, it should move us to search and try our hearts and repent, and set in order all our ways before we come before Him.

John; If one leaves his wife and children to fornicate, then he has broken the marriage bond and is the same as dead: so the wife who was betrayed is free if she wants to marry another. Meanwhile the man who sinned against his wife and children should repent! If he can be reconciled to his family he should try; or stay unmarried. I won't say if he can marry again: he first needs to be a saved man!
