PSALM 91 is my favourite scripture in the bible. Feeling very blessed after reading this. Praise the Almighty. God is good.

  • Mark Rasbury on Philippians 3 - 8 years ago
As we live our lives in this foreign world, the Apostle Paul guides us thru the challenges we face on daily basis. We face hatred, our fallen past, the temptation of compromise, and other obstacles that may hender us to pursue perfection in Christ Jesus. This chapter is very valuable for the true Christian believer. I could write alot more, but this is just the beginning of real life.
  • Joy on Psalms 91 - 8 years ago
Psalm 91 it does give us Peace. I will be posting a Testimony tomorrow.
  • A disciple on Job 25 - 8 years ago
"Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?" God has sent His Son into the world in the flesh to give His life to save the world. Jesus Christ came in the flesh to reconcile us to God, to undo the works of the devil in making men sin, and by breaking the bonds of sin and darkness by His own blood. There is NO OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN given among men whereby we must be saved!
  • A disciple on John 1 - 8 years ago
We are saved from our sins by the death burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ; and made clean by the Word which He has spoken to us. There is no salvation in any other; for there is no other name given among men whereby we must be saved. BUT, NOT EVERYONE WHO SAYS TO ME, LORD, LORD, SHALL ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN; BUT HE THAT DOES THE WILL OF MY FATHER! Faith is known by works!
  • A disciple on Revelation 12 - 8 years ago
Cheryl; There are some who believe that these events are mentioned in Genesis and the Prophets in some very interesting and mysterious sentences about the "earth becoming without form and void," as if by a terrible cataclysmic event; like Satan being cast out of heaven; so for that reason the earth was literally turned inside out! The Lord Jesus said, "I saw Satan as lightning fall from heaven!"
  • A disciple on Revelation 7 - 8 years ago
Cheryl; the 144,000 are only from the tribes of the children of Israel; and I think that they are just the ones from the time of "Jacob's Trouble" which would then be in addition to the multitudes of the Saints from every generation and century from the beginning. The saved from out of all Nations and Tribes and Families and Tongues are a multitude that no man can number. Very good question!
  • Garry on Psalms 94 - 8 years ago
Jesus is Lord over all. The reading of Psalm 94 comforts the mind, heart and soul!
  • A disciple on Psalms 11 - 8 years ago
Bill; It seems to me that you are trying to be confrontational, and wrenching on a presumed meaning in my words. All I say is what the Lord and His servants have written to us, about the tree being known by its fruit, and doing what Jesus has commanded us to do if we love Him. 2 Peter 1 explains very well how we are to DO these things; both for being able to walk and not stumble and to be saved!
  • CHERYL on Genesis 2 - 8 years ago
YES GOD MADE US IN HIS IMAGE ,, BUT HE FORM MAN FROM DUST AND THEN GAVE HIM THE BREATH OF LIFE NO WHERE DOES IT SAY HE MADE HIM A SPIRITUAL BEING YES IN HIS IMAGE BUT NOT AS HIM
  • Ian Marshall on Luke 20 - 8 years ago
So Jesus was preaching a form of replacement theology. The kingdom of God has been given to the Church and taken from the Jewish religion until the time when the Jews receive Christ as their Messiah.
  • Mild Bill on Psalms 11 - 8 years ago
A disciple, Not we.Christians appear before the judgement seat of Christ, not the great white throne,as do unbelievers."being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses.Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us,which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross".Saved!
  • Bobbie Schroder on Psalms 23 - 8 years ago
Jesus never treated women any differently than he did men. He never ordered women to be silent anywhere or at anytime, nor did he ever reject their presence, regardless of the Jews' patriarchal rules
  • Cheryl on Revelation 7 - 8 years ago
So, if only the 144,00 are sealed with Jesus when do the rest that believe in Jesus go tho heaven
  • Cheryl on Revelation 12 - 8 years ago
When was Satan and his followers cast down to Earth , if in Genesis it said the Earth was void in the beginning and man was not yet form ?
  • A disciple on Genesis 3 - 8 years ago
Jevon; Adam means "Red" as from the ground he was taken from and created. The first murderer sinned against God, against his brother whom he slew, and against his own moral consciousness; for God came to him beforehand and said, Why are you wroth? and why is your countenance fallen? If you do right won't you be blessed? but if you do not right sin is at the door. Cain chose to be heathen instead!
  • A disciple on Genesis 4 - 8 years ago
Jevon; Murder is: the unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another. In the Law of the LORD, the one who premeditates to kill someone is worthy of death; and the innocent blood is not taken away from the land except by the blood of him that shed it. Accidental killing of a man is not murder; and the one who does it is granted asylum in a City of Refuge that he may escape the avenger.
  • A disciple on Psalms 11 - 8 years ago
Hi Bill; Additionally, when the Lord shall sit on the throne of His Glory, and all Nations shall be gathered before Him; He will separate us one from another, completely based on our works, and whether we were good and kind toward even the little ones who belong to Jesus! Ignorance can never be an excuse, although it will be claimed by many; for the Lord knows the truth why we do good or don't!
  • A disciple on 2 Peter 3 - 8 years ago
Dossie; I don't know where that term came from; "The Church Age, or, The Age Of Grace;" but I think a better description would have to include, "The Time Of the Ambassadors of Christ and the Ministry of Reconciliation." The Day of the LORD will be the taking by force of the dominion and rule of the earth, the removing of the wicked, INCLUDING THE DEVIL AND HIS ANGELS; to set up the kingdom of God.
  • A disciple on Psalms 101 - 8 years ago
Marshal (cont.); Just let me add this: Yes Israel is and for ever will be Jesus' natural family according to the flesh; and yes, He will have His day with them, when every one of them will come before His feet to worship Him as their Lord and Saviour. But for now He hides His face from them because of their defiant unbelief and hostility toward Him and the Glad Tidings. Pray for them to be saved!
  • A disciple on Psalms 101 - 8 years ago
Dear Marshal Allbritton; I know you meant well with your statement, and probably more or less repeating something you heard; but really, Israel is in dreadful spiritual condition! The Country is a mix of complete ungodliness and perversion, as much as any other Western Nation; and fanatic antichrist ideologies; and a trace remnant of Christians still persecuted.
  • Steph on Ezekiel 29 - 8 years ago
We need to remember that everything we have, God allows us to have. We should never be prideful and think it was we ourselves that got what we have. Pride will destroy us. If we don't recognize God for whom He is in our lives and what He does, we will go down like all the cities that disobeyed God and followed in their own desires rather than the desires of God. Choose God!!!
  • Eric on 1 Chronicles 20 - 8 years ago
When David was preparing to battle Goliath he chose five smooth stones. He never thought that he would need more than one to kill Goliath! He chose four others for the four other giants he saw in the Philistine army, Goliath's brother and sons.
  • Mild Bill on John 1 - 8 years ago
A disciple, To enter heaven by your own work is not of grace.Jesus did not simply make a down payment and you installments. You err in soteriology. You work, and so God owes you,or so you believe. Sadly I think of you and the multitudes working their way to heaven, misguided in pride. This format is not for personal discussion, henceforth,I will no longer respond to your messages.
  • Jeff Berry on Genesis 2 - 8 years ago
Cheryl, Gen 1:26; God made us in His image
  • Jeff Berry on Genesis 2 - 8 years ago
Ramona, it might help to know that Gen 1:1-2:3 is a "summary" of the creation account. (The authors did not originally write in chapters
  • LYDIA on Psalms 121 - 8 years ago
My favorite chapter in the BIBLE> One that speaks FROM the heart, and tells of God's glory. It will be read at my "final goodbye" service...absolutely.
  • A disciple on Psalms 91 - 8 years ago
Carol (cont.); This will pass, and you will still be with Jesus! There will be many different places and experiences in your walk with the Lord. Since you are just starting out; the MOST IMPORTANT is for you to LEARN YOUR BIBLE WELL! Read it through; write it down; pray it in; and work it out! There is no light, no understanding, no wisdom, NO LIFE, apart from the Scriptures! The Lord bless you.
