"I beheld, and lo! that horn made battle against holy men, and had mastery of them, till the Eld of days came, and high God gave doom to holy men; and lo! time came, and holy men got realm." (Wycliffe Bible) What things we bear up under for the just now is but the token of the doom (judgment) that God makes upon the world through us: and we are made in Christ for the standard and measuring of all.

"The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble." In Daniel 7:17 Wycliffe Bible is something for us to consider well for interpreting the vision and learning the words told us from the Lord. "These four great beasts be four realms, that shall rise of the earth. And he said, These four great beasts be four kingdoms, that shall rise upon the earth. " In the beginning, God spoke and the earth and all that was in it brought forth life after its kind. Thus it is of the world and the kingdoms of men that by the word of our God they are come into being "after their kind " and according to of what kind everything is, shall it be preserved or instead destroyed. We are of God, little children ALL thanks and praise forever to the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour! and as His children He will spare us if we serve Him with a pure heart in love, and with a good conscience toward God and men, and by faith without hypocrisy. By the sacrifice and offering of His only begotten Son Jesus the Anointed we have mercy and reconciliation, and complete deliverance from sin and death. He alone is worthy of all our love and perseverance through these fearful and dangerous times: and Jesus will be with us all the days, even to the end and will not fail to do ALL that He has said concerning us.

  • Eldy bratt on Psalms 9 - 8 years ago
we earthly children of God cannot decipher or even begin to "explain" HIS scriptures 100 much less agree with each other 100 like Daniel we just have to wait for His return.
  • Glenn Collins on Proverbs 21 - 8 years ago
I especially like verse 30 of Proverbs 21 because we are living in times where Christians are letting the media deceive them into believing you can war against our maker and get away with it ! Remember II Chronicles 7:14 (If MY people”) I make no apologies for this statement.
  • Mrs. Davis on Luke 6 - 8 years ago
I agree with verse 28 about praying for your enemies. It will only block your own blessings if we don't.
  • Avigayil on Hebrews 12 - 8 years ago
I am curious about the final verse. The baptism of John (repentance) is of water, but the baptism of Yeshua is with fire - which is the giving of the the Holy Spirit. We see here that Yehovah is a consuming fire - which is His Righteous Judgment. So what is the lake of fire then? Is it a physical place, or simply refering to the Judgment of Yehovah?

    See 1 Corinthians 3:15

Daniel (cont.); as far as the Shkinah' not shining any more: apparently someone had an idea once, and spoke it out as if it were a fact; and so all (or rather, Many) of the churches have grasped on to this; but the truth is, that the Shkinah' was NOT continually abiding on the Holy of Holies; but only appeared as in the times mentioned in Scripture. Any thoughts?
  • A disciple on Colossians 2 - 8 years ago
Daniel; the "Satanic doctrine" of transubstantiation is out of the same filth pot of garbage from Babylon, and held on to by the Romish church, and is NOTHING related to the sacrifices under the first covenant. The Jews are dreaming of rebuilding the Temple and resuming the Services; but as they will not receive any Prophet or Apostle or even the Lord Jesus Himself; it will be only for disaster!
  • A disciple on Colossians 2 - 8 years ago
Daniel; the veil of the Temple rent in two signified that the way to the holiest was now opened to all through Jesus. The Scriptures saying that the priesthood and the Law would be forever was not rent in two, but a fabric curtain of a figure. When the Lord comes and sets up His everlasting kingdom; then we will all see and know everything. The Lord bless you Brother!

  • PraiseFather on Colossians 1 - 8 years ago
Colossians is a one of my favorites of the King James. Every chapter so powerful how Jesus pours out His grace continuously even through tribulations.

  • Jeff Berry on Genesis 2 - 8 years ago
Cheryl (I'm having problems uploading regardless what device I use), 1 Cor 15:45a "And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul..." I think your original question was "when did man become a spirit?" The answer is at creation. The spirit died because of sin but the spirit is born again when we are saved. 1 Cor 15:45 "the last Adam [was made] a quickening spirit."
  • Charles Bonsu on 1 Timothy 1 - 8 years ago
    Amen.
  • Ren on Jeremiah 44 - 8 years ago
@Andrew lf all angels are males then explain Zecharian 5:9. Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven.
  • Lilian on Matthew 24 - 8 years ago
Mountains and Earth shall pass away but God's words will stay. Jesus words will not return to him void. Lets prepare ourselves for the second coming of Jesus and praise him and worship him for he is worthy. If you will be found in the church serving Jesus you will be saved Jesus will come to take back his church as a bride in heaven amen

  • Brother Daniel FC on Colossians 2 - 8 years ago
To A disciple: I appreciate your comments, and I can see your passion for the Word of God. How I wish more people would study to know Him, the only true God Jn. 17:3. Back to Temple sacrifices: When Jesus died the veil was rent ( Matt. 27:51) and the Shekinah glory was gone; indicating the end of the Aaronic priesthood. Ap. Paul explains that in Romans, Galatians, Colossians and Hebrews.
  • Brother Daniel FC on Colossians 2 - 8 years ago
(Cont’d) In Heb. 7:27 he says: He sacrificed for their sins once for all when he offered himself; and 9:28 Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many. Erroneous understanding of this led to belief in Transubstantiation and the desire of many to rebuild the Temple; in a sense rejecting Christ and His sacrifice, as being insufficient.
