There is some truth to the old adage, "Familiarity breeds contempt". I find it much easier to love most people in short bursts, from a distance, or while they're quiet or sleeping. Considering that love is provoked, I suggest we work on being more lovable. I also find prayer and meditation to help.
  • Lane Johnson on Jeremiah 15 - 9 years ago
Saints, understand that we are in a real Kingdom, and the King is a very Holy God. The prophet Jeremiah, is warning the people to conduct themselves, in holiness or suffer the consequence. Our Lord is Holy, and we must practice righteousness. The Lord, will only look out for those who truly repent, and return to the true GOD. We have got to stop letting the devil, laugh at us!
  • Marie on Psalms 91 - 9 years ago
I love Psalm 91,I have been reading it for years, I feel better each time I recite it to myself. When ever satan tries to make me fill afraid, this is the one scripture that helps me to be strengthened.

Reading your previous comment, that the 3 rd person in the trinity actually moved on Gods servants. His apostles tell us of this mystery. Their witness is a witness for us to believe in and that it would become real to each of us. I really enjoy reading king James version. I've read this version my whole life, and it still reveals something new of God everyday. Thank you for the revelation Peter

The Bible says" All who are Christs when they die their spirits all go to glory until the Resurrection and the dead lifeless body
rests in the ground without the soul in it and we will bne given a new body. We also will be able to recognize one another from the old body.
  • Mike on John 17 - 9 years ago
Verse 16 helps us to see that loyalty to Jehovah God and His Kingdom will help us stay neutral and remain seperate from the world.

Gil: I get that the scripture said to kill, but we are in the now times and all though we can take things from the OT,we still are under the idea of those who kill by the sword die by the sword,Even though hands are not a sword, well neither are guns, but it says also do unto others as you would want done onto yourself, before jesus this is what was to be done to obey GOD and be in HIS grace N honor..

I was in awe,I had to repent to GOD,I was like I didn't know I am so SORRY,when you get gifts under a tree, you are bowing down, and there is somewhere a scripture that says a tree is not to be around where the holyness of the LORD is,for people were worshiping TREES,Easter is for Paganism a time of fertility,so much I never knew,I was heart broken to find all I was doing WAS NOT what I thought,Amen
  • April on Deuteronomy 12 - 9 years ago
Dr.Ford: I was wondering have you tried to speak to these people and shew onto them whatever is within your heart?I use To go to a Baptist Church, and currently found out Chrismas n Easter are filled with Peganism and other beliefs from other countries all tied into an image that so many people honestly think they are worshiping GOD,yet it is an ABOMINATION unto him,we're doing the exact opposite..

I thought about it and I think that Israelities had more of a Blessing then a curse, yes they had to pay for their sins and follow the commandment to the T,but if you were not within the LORDS army or on his side you would perish with no chance of Salvation or Atonement, you just simply died,Israelities had a chance alot of the people did not have,so I see it as a BLESSING more then a CURSE,a GIFT..
  • April on Deuteronomy 10 - 9 years ago
Hello everyone,I just wanted to add a side note to this message,we should remember what we say or even type, for if we make an impression upon people and they actually listen, then when we are face to face with GOD we will bear the inquity of their lives, their blood will be on our hands, all we say and do should be filled with light and love, love not just the persecuted but the persecuters,God blessU

Watch! Yes, we must continue to watch, be ready and keep our salvation current for we know not when the end shall come. All the signs of the end times are here.
  • Peter A. Okebukola on Joshua 3 - 9 years ago
Another miracle of God like the parting of the Red Sea. God did it for Moses and He promised Joshua He will be with him. This is a manifestation of promise fulfilled. Praise Jesus.

Daniel 2:43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. 44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all the

  • Mae on 2 Peter 2 - 9 years ago
I feel that this chapter is a warning to non believers as well as hope to the believers. Also, to them that heard and believed and fell away, are as a dog going back and licking his own vomit. We are drawn away because of our own lusts.

Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the

Mike:, God can compute way more intel beyond human comprehension and therefore we try to analyze intel with OUR own way of thinking and understanding, but to say someone other then GOD and his son understands GOD word is like saying we all understand each other ALL the time, like we Don't have poor communication at times
  • April on Deuteronomy 9 - 9 years ago
Mike:God may not use certain words but like the words you interprit and wrote on here to express your thoughts so did Moses,God also is a JEALOUS god and that is a HUMAN emotion, but GOD created us in his image,GOD knew what jealousy causes,in Genisis Cane killed Able out of jealousy,as humans we are irrational with our emotions, therefore we CANNOT look at the actions of GOD as we do for ourselves.
  • Jim on Galatians 1 - 9 years ago
The 12 preached the gospel of the kingdom always to the Jew, Paul preached the gospel of Grace mainly the Gentile but Jew's welcome. Peter did go to the house of a gentile.
  • April on Deuteronomy 8 - 9 years ago
We should Thank GOD EVERY DAY for what we have,so many have nothing and still find a way to accept it and be happy, this I think means the pressure of fitting in as well, the clothes we wear, cars, jewelry ect and our gluttony to WANT more, due to our selfish desires to fit in,we have so much to be thankful for,we are nothing without GOD and we need to constantly HUMBLE ourselves,no matter our agesAMEN
  • April on Deuteronomy 7 - 9 years ago
Hmm,so basically all the books up till now that I've read are concluding GODs desire for a ONE WAY belief system, all others are a snare unto him and his ordinance, people were literally killed for believing N other forms of God and not following his commandments,so when you see all this other religion and culture,I wonder would they be killed for doing such stuff,I wonder what will happen to them..
  • Maricel Gallego on Luke 11 - 9 years ago
I love reading the word of God.It gives me a lot of wisdom and knowledge.
  • April on Deuteronomy 6 - 9 years ago
I think following the commandment pretrial begins with our own mother and father, how we respected them or not as well as what we saw and took away from our lives as we grew up and how we applied them, honoring our parents was a commandment of our father,if you didnt listen to them well, chances r you probably will struggle with obedience, being submissive, good thing there is prayer and help from abov

When bread is broken, crumbs fall and within these crumbs are clues to enlightenment,God gave very specific instructions,I'd say both before and during the commandments,we could look at him saying NOT to eat from the tree of Life in the Garden of Eden was a commandment,it just wasn't written on stone,it came straight from his mouth,Eve exsistd because Adam was alone,so God gave him what he asked...

Every comment on the page following 1john4 was more of a complete and total judgement.Maddens critical Which pedestal of religion are you on. If you want to judge throw the rocks at yourself. The truth is the truth. Everyone sins. No one's better than anyone else. Segregation in religions start like that. You represent God by criticizing Him!
  • Lu2677 on Acts 24 - 9 years ago
Acts 24-31, scripture to learn from. Leviticus 18.
All people are from the blood line of Adam and Eve. I want to correct something I wrote earlier; I wrote that Cain would have married his sister. But scripture does not tell us who Cain married. So, I repent of that comment.
