Thus says the scripture...
According to the New Testament, the Church, the Body of Christ will be judged at the Judgment Seat of Christ (Greek: Bma), and that judgment will be based on the gospel committed to Paul - what he calls "my gospel."
1. The Judgment Seat of Christ
Romans 14:10
"for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ."
2 Corinthians 5:10
"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad."
This judgment is not for salvation, but for reward or loss of reward ( 1 Cor. 3:13-15). It applies only to believers - the Body of Christ.
2. What Gospel Will Be the Standard?
Romans 2:16
"In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel."
Here, Paul states plainly that God will judge according to his gospel - the gospel of grace revealed to him ( Gal. 1:11-12).
3. What Is "Paul's Gospel"?
Paul's gospel is centered on:
Salvation by grace through faith, without works ( Eph. 2:8-9)
The death, burial, and resurrection of Christ as the basis of salvation ( 1 Cor. 15:1-4)
The heavenly calling and spiritual blessings in Christ ( Eph. 1:3; Phil. 3:20)
Conclusion
At the Judgment Seat of Christ, the Church - the Body of Christ - will be judged:
Not by the Law of Moses
Not by the Gospel of the Kingdom ( Matt. 4:23; Gal. 2:7)
But "according to Paul's gospel" - the gospel of the grace of God ( Acts 20:24)
This judgment evaluates how believers lived and served in response to the grace they received, not whether they are saved. Salvation is secure ( Rom. 8:1), but rewards are at stake ( 1 Cor. 3:14-15).
This is serious business folks...What Gospel will YOU be judged by?
Romans 2:16 (KJV)
"In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel."
Context: Paul is warning about God's future judgment and says it will happen according to "my gospel", meaning the message of grace and salvation given to him specifically by revelation (see Gal. 1:11-12).
Romans 16:25 (KJV)
"Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began."
Context: Paul links his gospel to the "revelation of the mystery", something hidden in past ages but now revealed through him-central to the dispensation of grace.
2 Timothy 2:8 (KJV)
"Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel."
Context: Written near the end of Paul's life, he again affirms the unique gospel committed to him-focused on the risen Christ and preached even at great personal cost (v.9 says he suffers for it).
Summary of Paul's Use of "My Gospel":
Paul uses the phrase to:
Emphasize the distinctiveness of the message he received from Christ ( Gal. 1:11-12).
Tie his gospel to the "MYSTERY" revealed only after Christ's resurrection.
Distinguish it from the kingdom gospel that Jesus and the Twelve preached to Israel ( Matt. 10:5-7; Gal. 2:7-9).
v.7 " Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving."
Growth is in terms of the body which is glory from God, What does it mean? "Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will."(Eph.1.5) The same body for his Son,- there is only a single fit, and this theological term has no relevance to the pagan world but to the mystery of His will, and is called: adoption.
Growth has a secondary meaning: abundance. In the Covenant provision is made for fruit bearing trees,(Gen.1.11-12). What does nationalism prove? It is planted by Satan. Fruits of the Spirit can only be grown abiding in Christ. We are complete in Christ so what are nations or culture wars, when I have seen the glory of the Lord God?
"In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple./Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly./And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory./And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke./Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.
Each believer blessed of God must believe God is good and all his promises are Yea and Amen in his on v.8 "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ."
We are complete in him. So kingdom of God is within you sets two limits: upper limit is the world of the Spirit. lower limit is the world of the body. Having received Christ by faith what does St Paul say?
v.5 "For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ." St Paul writing to the church in Colosse he is certain,'yet I am with yoou'. In Christ we are with him in the Spirit, angels and believers alike, dead or alive. St Paul never visited Colosse, 'and for them at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh.(2.1) We have our being in Christ and as v.6 says, 'so walk ye in him.' At this point we need draw a distinction here. The World of the Spirit does not allow the physical aspects of the person rule us, "Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more."(2 Cor.5.16) and they are with Christ as much as we are with him.. "As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him."(2.6)
On the contrary growth covers both worlds of the Spirit and body alike. We walk in our vile bodies not by sight but by faith. Growth is in terms of the glory which is after the body 'Father has prepared for his Son.(Heb.10.5) God has set the template of the Son which is our heart a spiritual space. "For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."(2 Cor.4.6). We grow from glory to glory," But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord."(2 Cor.3.18)
v.7 " Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving."
"when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth./ Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them."
Here we shall consider the nature of secret, or a mystery to which can only be admitted by word of his Power. If one has hardened his heart, how can he enter therein? "Having made known unto us the mystery of his will,"(Eph.1.9-14)
God presented his Son so whosoever has seen in this world and refuses to worship, is ungodly. "And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him."(Heb.1.6).
In the world of the Spirit we heard him,"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God./ But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world." (Rom.10.17-18) Without acknowledging the world of the Spirit the sects are blind since the ear of faith makes the sound and the sign very clear. God has revealed it as in Rom.1.19-20. "for God hath shewed it unto them./ For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse."
We are complete in his Son the same substance of 'the body thou hast prepared me" serves as a sign and is called the inner man.
"Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,/ I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart." The Law of the Spirit is the truth presented before us. The angels were witness when God presented his first beotten into the world. How do we worship him? In Spirit and truth. Without believing in the world of the Spirit and the Covenant, we have imposter churches serving doctrine of man. Total sanctification is true worship.
"For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily./And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:"
God is a Spirit and when the word of God says, Christ 'is the head of all principality and power' it refers specifically to the World of the Spirit. Head of all principalities and power refers to the Son,'his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;/ Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power. This power of the Word consequently has a body, which we shall call as the substance. So the Psalmist says,"My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth./ Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them." In an earlier post we covered this topic. Holy Spirit is referring to the Father Son relationship where substance has a body which whether as an atom or as a world is considered cannot change in quality. It is the Power of the word. So God sends forth his word and it refers to the Father Son relationship and the quality we call as faith.(Heb.1.2-3;Ps.139.15-16)
"faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." We shall consider faith and how it works does not change since God , a Spirit does not change. Thus two atoms of hydrogen latches on to one atom of oxygen, you have water. Faith works at molecular level; so it does in terms of worlds. It is what we see here:"Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." Father Son relationship on one part with this natural world works on the basis of the word. Faith makes one world, which is the world of the Spirit.
The Lord God created all things. All things..
Good and bad, joy and sorrow, Isaiah 45:7 So we see these days that people don't want to hear this. They preach a God who is just compliant, sensibly agreeing with all the inconveniences that people find it okay to live in. The narrow path does not exist and everything is permitted. This is where we as Christians have a responsibility ourselves. Words that Jesus mentions are washed away with dust on a porch. But the fact is that the word shall never pass away Mat 24:35 and Mark 13:31 Words that all believers should think carefully about. If you have something like this in your life. Then throw it away, throw it into the deepest darkness, never take it back. Mark 7:21 and Mat 15:19 These words are very important, because we know that God created all things. ALSO all the Spirits small and great. Remember He saw everything when He created everything. Look at the different creatures in the animal world. Only there do we see that there is no fault with the imagination of the Lord. And not least the inequalities we people have. That's why we have to be alert to all things that are jarring. For example: You see your neighbor rolling a big cabin cruiser up the driveway to his beautiful house. And you feel a hint of envy. Because you've never even had a small dinghy. Right there! You have to be careful. Throw away the thought, preferably before it comes or before you think it! Such small pricks become big problems in the end.And harder for us to reveal
The Lord God created all things. All things..
"Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."
1 Corinthians 10:13
"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."
Psalms 55:22
"Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved."

"And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son."
John 14:21
"He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him."

Thank you for the helpful advice. That is something I may consider asking. I'll have to wait and see what the adjuster has to say. The sad part of all of this is that our house is only 2-years old. The main reason for us moving to the Midwest was to be close to our grandchildren, so yes, they are close by, about a 20-minute drive. I definitely appreciate the prayer.
Blessings to you in Christ our Savior!
Pt. 11
When it comes to Adam, not only did God know that Adam would sin along with Eve, but He ordained it. This ordaining of angels and Adam to freely choose to sin is one of the most difficult truths believers wrestle with. He ordained it due to His higher purpose of creating to manifest His mercy and grace; wrath and justice; which are aspects of His nature. Because He purposed to act on all aspects of His one perfect nature in creation for His glory, ordaining the fall of angels and man was willed by God in order to complete ALL of His good pleasure in creating ( Rev. 4:11; Eph. 1:1-9; Is. 46:10). It pleases God to ordain that His creatures will be overtaken by sin in order that He will either: 1) saved the ones He elected to salvation to express His mercy and grace, and 2) allow the non-elect to continue in their disobedience and rejection of Him so that He can express His wrath and justice. It is not that He takes pleasure in the condemnation of the non-elect, rather, it pleases Him to express His hatred for sin and the corruption of how He created both sinful angels and mankind and to satisfy His righteous anger over the free choices of his creatures to disobey Him, reject Him, be at enmity towards Him, and to hate Him and His righteousness. This ordination of sin to come into His creation is for His glory, the glory of all that is involved with His holy, divine, changeless nature expressed in righteousness, goodness, and justice. ( Rom. 9:22-23)
We wrestle with this aspects of God's purpose and will, but it is plainly taught in Scripture as Romans 9 speaks to, but we can be assured that God always does what is perfect and right. ( Deut 32:3-4; Ps. 145:17; Rev. 15:3-4)
We must believe this, even when we find what He wills and does is hard for us to swallow.
We will talk more on God ordaining this and more in the next section.
Pt. 10
The last aspect of God's Eternal Purpose I wish to address is that of in His omniscience and wisdom knowing that He alone is the only Being her is morally perfect and though He could create angels and humans good, He could not create them perfectly moral as He is or else they would be divine as well. I think this (some other things) God in His perfect Being could not do because it would go against His nature.
God knew that making angels and Adam/Eve initially good at the point of their creation this good could be corrupted because He had a higher purpose of wanting these creatures to be relational and able to interact with Him. This desire involves granting them volition to choose to worship Him and love Him or to choose against these relational aspects of them being made in His image. While within the Godhead, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, being perfectly harmonious and loving relationally, being of the same nature, though distinct in person but one in Being, could never be anything other because their volition, though the most free of any being that exists, will always will according to their innate holy nature and perfect goodness. God can never be less than His nature because He never changes. Creatures do not possess this immutability as it is only true of God's nature.
Creatures, not being changeless, can will against God freely. God not only knew this, but He ordained that this would occur, with the exception of the angels that did not sin with Satan in His rebellion. Once the chose to not go the way of sin, He then awarded them grace to remain sinless forever. But on their own without God's help, they would have eventually choose to sin. They only had to resist sinning in this one occurrence and then God sealed them forever in holiness. God had His inscrutable wisdom chose the way He would appoint His elect angels to eternal holiness.
See Pt. 11
Thanks for the encouragement.
I recall how Jesus said to "let the little children come unto and do not hinder them". Thus I believe that they are the Lord's though in the "far country" now. I believe He will drawn them back home to Him and that the end will be better than the beginning as to their relationship with Him, as it was with Job.
I am so sorry that the work on your roof and siding was not done properly and now you have even more damage! It seems that you may have a secondary insurance claim on the damage caused by the poor workmanship. Perhaps you could talk to you insurance adjuster and ask for a list of other contractors you could contact to finish and correct all the work remaining. You should be able to find a good contractor either that way or get contacts from your local hardware store where many contractors get their materials for their jobs. Often they know the good ones from the poor ones as they here from customers commenting on the contractor's jobs done for them.
How very frustrating this must be for you and your wife!
You grandchildren are at really good ages right now. They can share great moments with grandparents that they will remember!
Do they live close to your home?
I will pray for God to direct you to a contractor that will do an excellent job for you.
Grandkids are great! I have one granddaughter (age 9) and one grandson (6). I know your granddaughter is much younger and at the age where everything they do is cute and funny. What a joy!
Thanks for asking about the house repair. At the moment, it is not going well. The only thing we have had done so far is we had our roof replaced and all the siding on the back of the house replaced. The back siding is the only area that was hit with large hail and damaged. So, those two things are done. We still have two windows that they need to replace, our deck re-finished, light fixtures on the back of the house replaced, and the banister coming out the back garage door replaced.
I say it is not going well because the new roof they just put on two months ago leaks and now, we have some water damage. The roofers failed to seal around the two vent pipes on our roof so every time it has rained for the last two months, water has been coming in to where it started coming through the drywall. Also, one slat of the new siding they just installed is falling off. We called our insurance, and we should be contacted by another adjuster tomorrow or Tuesday to see where we go from here.
We are losing trust and confidence in the contractor. They are a large company, but it looks like they are hiring cheap labor to do their work. I believe they are coming from Mexico because none of the workers so far spoke any English, and I don't know Spanish, so it is very hard to communicate with them when they are here.
Anyway, hopefully this gets resolved soon. I know this is going to cost them to repair the additional things that were damaged due to their negligence.
"What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?"

"Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you."
Matthew 28:19
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:"
Acts 2:38
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
John 3:5
"Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."
Luke 6:46
"And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?"

Pt.9
When Jesus predicted the fall of Jerusalem and the total destruction of the temple, He said that He would build "it" up in three days, meaning His resurrected body as the true temple, the dwelling God. Everyone who believes in Jesus is placed by the Holy Spirit into His body and tabernacles with God continually. In the new heaven and new earth, it is revealed that God's dwelling would forever be with the redeemed. ( Rev. 21:1-3) The temple IS the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb! (vs.22) Hallelujah!
In this life, God dwells with believers by the Holy Spirit and this will continue throughout eternity, but what a marvelous thing it will be in glory with God dwelling in us and we dwelling IN Him as our "tabernacle"!
This is truly and astounding truth! We should be ecstatic contemplating this coming reality. When we consider the magnificent greatness of God and unsurpassed transcendence and then understand that He will condescend eternally to tabernacle with those redeemed by the Lord as a people bought by the sacrificial blood He shed and sealed by the Holy Spirit for eternity so that we can dwell in God as our tabernacle and He will dwell in us as His tabernacle. Amazing!
See Pt. 10
Pt. 8
Heb. 1:1-3 reveals to believers the excellent and unadulterated revelation of God in Christ (as well as the revelation of Jesus in the book by that name). How blessed we are that God purposed to reveal Himself to us so that we can know Him unto eternal life!
Hebrews 2:1-4 tells us to take heed to all of these revelations of God to mankind, especially the revelation of the Son, Jesus which are the words of eternal life. Vs. 4 affirming that God bears witness to what has been preached by those who heard Jesus' words in person with signs and wonders verifying that their words and work is from God Himself, all worked in them by the Holy Spirit
Jesus is the pre-eminent revelation of God to mankind, being Himself God incarnated. Whatever Jesus did or said is what was of God always. He never failed to obey the Father and always spoke whatever the Father willed for Him to speak.
GOD PURPOSED TO DWELL IN THOSE ELECTED, REGENERATED, CALLED, AND SAVED IN JESUS
In addition to Jesus being the ultimate revealer of God in person, God purposed to dwell within these elect believers and this indwelling was of the Holy Spirit from Pentecost onward for every believer. In the OT God "tabernacled" with Israel in the wilderness, especially in the tent of meeting designed by God and built according to God's plan by the Israelites. Later, when the Israelites took possession of all the land promised to Abraham, David petitioned God to build a temple for Him to dwell in. And God told David that it would be His son, Solomon, whom would be the one to build this temple. And when it was completed, God's glory did dwell in both the Holy of Holies in the tent of meeting in the wilderness up to the time of the temple completion and then in the Holy of Holies of the stone temple. But, because of the idolatry of Judah God removed His glory and presence from the temple ( Ezekiel 10:18).
See Pt. 9
Another aspect of God's eternal purpose was to reveal Himself to and in creation. Rom. 1 tells us how mankind can know about God from what He has made which echoes "The heavens declare the glory of God" of Ps. 19:1 showing not only His handiwork but also His majesty and power. Rom. 1:19-20 says that the heavens do reveal God to mankind, saying He showed Himself to mankind in what He has made: namely His eternal power and Godhead and no human is without excuse.
But even more clearly than that, God appeared to the forefathers and prophets: Adam, Eve, Noah, Job, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Daniel, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Jeremiah and others. These chosen to receive such a close interaction had a first hand testimony of Who God is.
And God not only spoke through the prophets, but moved and inspired them to write the words from Him, most of which has been preserved for all generations. These people were able to do these works by the influence and power of the Holy Spirit, the Person of the Godhead who was sent to these people to inspire, guide, and preach to the people of God.
It is also so in the NT. Consider Anna and Simeon at Jesus' circumcision in the temple. Zechariah, father of John the Baptist and John himself. And then think of the 120 gathered in the Upper Room when the Holy Spirit come upon them and they preached the gospel from then onward according to Jesus' prophecy in Acts 1:8. And also, Paul, who not only was converted and filled with the Holy Spirit, but also receiving instruction directly from the risen Jesus, just as the apostles had been taught by the risen Lord in His visitations between the resurrection and ascension. Some of these believers were not only sent to preach the gospel, but also to write the words of God by the inspiration and power of the Holy Spirit also, most of which have been preserved for all generations.
The agency of the Holy Spirit revealed a great deal of detail about God.
See Pt. 8
I do understand what you are conveying in your post. It encourages me! I too am in "retirement" as of 2020 and I am doing so well in so many ways. The lessening of stress, especially with working with people not of your choosing who are not of the same mind as myself in lifestyle, worldview, and approach to their job (teaching young children).
But now I can spend my time with those I choose-family, friends, especially those who believe. And one of the most important aspects of being retired is the opportunity to learn and grow more in knowledge of God's Word and with that knowing our Lord with increasing faith and commitment. Another important aspect of being retired is this opportunity to share on this forum which is such a blessing, but also it gives me great opportunity to pray for those who request prayer!
When my kids were young it was a busy time, but I loved it! I endeavored to keep in mind how God wanted me to help my children grow up in Him through Christ. So, we were careful about the company they kept and what they were exposed to as it relates to their social environment. Sadly, even with that focus, each of my sons went the way of the prodigal in their late teens. I pray daily for their return to the Lord. I wish they would have never left Him but I do believe that God will draw them back to Himself.
So, I can sympathize with those who are juggling so much each day. And am happy to be helpful and encouraging to those in my sphere.
Out of love, I believe it's best to end this discussion. I sense that your questions are steering the conversation away from its original purpose. Forgive me if I'm sensing something that's not there.
God bless,
RLW
12 Chronicles 20:35-37 Here I noted something important that is necessary to share with you all. Not for that, many have probably seen it and, but some may be ignorant of this.We know that in ancient times it is written that man did what was evil in the eyes of the Lord and the man did what was good in the eyes of the Lord. Here it is clear what is meant by that. Thank you Jesus. We see that Jehoshaphat was not a bad man in the eyes of the Lord earlier in the same chapter. Then this goodness from God suddenly turns around. BUT it is because Jehoshaphat joins forces with Ahaziah. Which did much evil in the sight of the Lord.
So there is always a reason why a blessing no longer works. For we know that the Lord God is righteous in all that He does, unlike man who constantly gets lost in things that are not good for him. And here he lost all the ships he had planned and built together with Ahaziah. After the Prophet Mareshah prophesied over Jehoshaphat.
Today we have little prophecy, and the prophet was a strong, we can say, medium from/between God and man. What the prophet said happened. They were so closely connected to God.
The Lord works differently in all of us, because we are different. But if we have a vision, an idea of what we can do for the Lord, or do for good for people. Then it is very important that we do not deviate to the higher or left. But follow the plan in the vision to the letter. This is because the Lord is not impulsive, as we understand, His thought has been from the beginning. Then His plan was complete. But then we come in, you know, with all the impulsiveness and ideas that boil over in your head. And that's when it goes wrong. So my advice is, don't share your vision/idea with many people. Stick to the Lord.He knows and gives you the right impulses to stand firmly in your idea. That way you don't stumble.Look at this picture: Jehoshaphat was not a bad man,but he lost it becouse of one. GBU all
I am one who will continue to pray until I am with the Lord. This world is becoming more dangerous to our generation. It has been worse in ages past, but in our own times we have had a great deal of blessing, especially in the U.S.
I am glad that you have an alternative place to go to if things do get really bad. We do not have any other residence, but we are surrounded by mountains that are forested with many streams and lakes. So, we have our camping gear that would help us for a time, and we have been adding to our canned food supply. I do not know much about freeze dried foods that one would just add water to, and this is certainly an option for us and everyone who is able to purchase such things.
Although I do not think the Rapture will occur as I am not convinced Scripture teaches such an event. Even so, we should be aware of what is transpiring and seek ways to be less affected by serious problems arising in our communities, cities, country, and world.
The possibility of the U.S. and NATO nations being drawn into a big war is becoming more and more serious with what is happening in the Middle East, Ukraine, and the saber rattling of China and N. Korea. Also, due to the influx of so many unknown people across our border in the past 4 years especially, it is quite likely that there are terrorist cells and foreign agents imbedded in our communities operating under the radar at this time, but could easily rise up to do harm on any given day. And since we had the "trial test" of the release of a novel virus in 2020 to ascertain if it is a plausible control mechanism to shut down nations and freedoms, we may face an even more deadly virus released on purpose any time.
My biggest concern is to secure extra medications for such an extended emergency situation. I am hoping to secure these medications if I can find a reputable source: antibiotics, pain medications stronger than acetaminaphin and naproxin, steroid meds, and blood pressure meds.
Thanks for reading along. I have had the ideas for this topic ready for a while and was going to begin posting in March. But something I cannot really put my finger upon has brought me hesitation. But now I don't feel that anymore and so "here we go"!
I happen to be a very thorough person, thus the long and numerous postings on a subject. I am very analytical and seek to look at all parts of a situation to have a broad and accurate understanding of what I wish to share or do or believe. I appreciate that people will bear with me in these things because I do think that these are aspects of my make-up that God chose for me and so I use them for His glory as much as I am able, being a weak sinner and needing the Holy Spirit to help me along and keep me moving in the direction He wants me to go.
The wings were good, but too spicy for me and little Rosie. I wish you could have seen here reaction to the spicyness. Very cute. But she kept on working that little wing bone. The others didn't think they were too spicy, so I portioned out some for Rosie and I and rinsed them well before refrigerating. Hoping that will make them easier on Rosie and me tomorrow. I tend to invent my recipes on the fly and see how it comes out a lot of the time and my wings in the past have been more bland. So I upped the spice this time. Whew-Eee!
How is your remodel going on the damage to your home? We are just finishing up the outdoor painting, and just have the steps and railing to go on the covered deck along with lighting. The new windows are all in place and trimmed out. Need to be painted.
So, it is still busy here, but we are grateful we can do so much at this time in our life here. Our home is so much more practical and comfortable for us. We have eliminated many mobility obstacles and we can see us living here for the remainder of our lives, the Lord willing.
Shall speak with you tomorrow as I know it is late in the midwest already.
