Isaiah 65:25 - The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust [shall be] the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.
Matthew 19:28 - And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Zechariah 8:3 - Thus saith the LORD; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts the holy mountain.

However, the word 'Church' is from the Greek, 'Ekklesia', & this means 'an assembly or congregation'. So in Acts 7:38, Stephen, when testifying to the Jews, mentioned "the church (which was) in the wilderness", referring to the Israelite congregation that had fled the bondage in Egypt. So the 'Church' that was born from Jesus Christ is only seen in the New Testament, but it can have a broader meaning to any assembling of people or congregation, specifically those meeting as part of a religious group or gathering.
And then one sees a group such as the "Church of Scientology" who regard themselves as a Church (because of the primary meaning of 'Ekklesia'), but has almost no reference in its teaching to anything of God & Christ leaving such belief to the conviction of its adherents.
For those who deem that Heaven & Paradise are the same location, they will cite 2 Corinthians 12:4 & Revelation 2:7, where in each of these references, Paul & John indicated that Heaven, the abode of God, is intended.
For those who believe that Paradise is a separate place, they will appeal to the location of departed souls pre-Cross, as in Luke chapter 16. Here we see the rich man being tormented in hell, & beyond the separating gulf, there was Lazarus, the beggar, who enjoyed relative comfort. And in Luke 23:43, Jesus tells the thief on the Cross that he would also go to Paradise with Him. We assume that this wasn't Heaven, as Jesus said that He had not ascended to the Father ( John 20:17). We understand that while Jesus' Body was in the sepulchre for the three days, Jesus, as also the thief, went down into Paradise. But at Jesus' bodily resurrection, those bodies in the graves also arose ( Matthew 27:53) with Him & we might assume that their souls once held in Paradise were now released to enter Heaven.
Some compartmentalize Hades with a section of suffering & another section of comfort. At Christ's death & resurrection, the souls who were in comfort (being noted for their faith & love for God), were released from there & taken into Heaven, the abode of God. However, the wicked still remain in Hades awaiting their final judgement & casting into the Lake of Fire (in the future).
So in answer to your question, both Heaven & Paradise can now be correctly considered as one & the same. But there was a distinction made pre-Cross, as those held in that Paradise (a place of comfort) awaited the great event of Christ's Sacrifice that provided the payment for their sins based on their faith & removed their condemnation. Romans 8:1.
That was then, today is the now. We have the salvation of Jesus Christ with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit to help us avoid pitfalls that lead to sin. We have the Bible to show us how to follow Jesus.
The Book of Romans is a good place to start, but I think John chapter 3 is. When no one wants to be our friend; you will always have a friend in Jesus.
Some people have had real life experiences with the awesome Love of God. I always thought God was way way up in the sky somewhere. I didn't think he could hear me asking for help. But I found out that is not true. He is as close as your next breath. He cares about all of our needs. We just have to begin some conversations with Him...called praying. He talks to people but it's best to be born again ( John 3), so you can get your ears tuned to His Voice.
See if Isaiah 1:18 is desirable to you.
When I first came in here I read a lot of posts on the Testimonies Link. Many have posted how the came to believe in Jesus. Everyone of those is a real person.
I'm more focused on when people try to delete scriptures.
Revelation 22:18-19
Louis "Klopsch published the first modern red letter edition New Testament later in 1899. The first modern, fully rubricated bible was published in 1901."1 According to Wikipedia,2
Because the original texts of the Sacred Scriptures do not have quotation marks, which words exactly are Dominical has been interpreted, as opposed to explanatory text that follows them.
While some red-letter edition bibles have Rev. 21:5-6 rubricated, others do not. In fact, Klopsch's own edition published in 1901 did not have these verses rubricated:
Louis Klopsch Red Letter Bible, Rev. 21:5-6
Book of Revelation
In the Book of Revelation, the author consistently refers to God the Father as "He who sits on the throne."3 The living creatures give thanks to "Him who sits on the throne."4 John sees a book in the right hand of "Him who sits on the throne."5 He then sees the Lord Jesus Christ-"the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David"-come to open the book.6 Then, "he came and took the book out of the right hand of Him who sits upon the throne."7 In Rev. 5:13, "Him who sits upon the throne" is distinguished from "the Lamb."8
13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. KJV, 1769
It is likely that Rev. 21:5-6 is spoken by God the Father since the author mentions "the Lamb" elsewhere in the chapter,9 and the author continues to distinguish between God the Father and the Lamb.10 One verse later in Rev. 21:7, the subject (speaker) states, "He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he shall be my son."
He had been crucified and then resurrected to life again, before the Book of Revelation. That's why the Book of Acts and Revelation have those red letters. Jesus is alive.
Nobody can dispute with the red letters.
All the Apostles (disciples Jesus traveled with) knew they would be killed eventually.
Except Apostle John. They dumped him on a little island to die alone. But first he wrote the Book of Revelation. :D
When I was a new Christian, I would touch the red letters as I read them. Funny huh?

Wesley's Notes for Revelation 2:19
2:19 I know thy love - How different a character is this from that of the angel of the church at Ephesus! The latter could not bear the wicked, and hated the works of the Nicolaitans; but had left his first love and first works. The former retained his first love, and had more and more works, but did bear the wicked, did not withstand them with becoming vehemence. Mixed characters both; yet the latter, not the former, is reproved for his fall, and commanded to repent. And faith, and thy service, and patience - Love is shown, exercised, and improved by serving God and our neighbour; so is faith by patience and good works.
People's Bible Notes for Revelation 2:19
Re 2:19 The last [to be] greater than the first. "That thy last works are more than the first" (Revised Version). Instead of retrograding, their works grew more excellent.

The danger is not being able to recognize Jezebel's characteristics and being lured into her circle of disciples. If you don't understand how dangerous this spirit is, you need to do some study. The Jezebel spirit is a demonic spirit pretending to be concerned with your wellbeing. Don't get deceived.
The Bible talks about Queen Jezebel in the Old Testament that was married to King Ahab. Remember Queen Jezebel was wicked and murdered many of God's prophets. In the New Testament, the name Jezebel comes up again. Obviously, this is not the same person in the Old Testament, but a spirit called Jezebel that appears again. We can learn much by studying the characteristics of a Jezebel spirit. Here is the New Testament Scriptural reference.
"Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works." Revelation 2:20-23)
Notice five short descriptions of the Jezebel spirit above. She calls herself a prophetess, teaches, seduces, lives in rebellion, and has a turbulent life. (Mentally)
M.
What you said sounds like the intrusion of the Jezebel Spirit. She is very wicked and manifestations of her works are sexual, often: rebellion and resistant to any Godly restraints. You must destroy her advances into your life.
Jesus is clearly calling you back to that First Love relationship with him. You need to repent of your deeds and remove the temptations Jezebel uses against you. Ask Jesus to help you. Read Acts 19:19.
Use the Search Box on this website and type in 'Jezebel' to see why God hates her works.
She afflicts women just as much as men.
There are men's ministries, that's all they do is help men get free from this. I think that website is Focus on the Family. I haven't looked at it; I listen to their radio ministry.
This is the result of the effects of the 80's when computers and chat rooms took over the world. How many lives have been destroyed? Marriages too. Children growing up without fathers. The last 2 scriptures of the Old Testament was written to fathers and their children. God is personally overseeing this prophesy; which I believe is still happening. Matthew 17:12
Turn around and come back to your Father God. You know Jesus is calling you.
Mishael
We earn nothing; the gift of God is eternal life 1 Timothy 6:16 Who (Christ) only hath immortality.......
Just compare your life today to those first days when you asked Jesus to come in your heart. You read your Bible. You asked the Holy Spirit to help you understand what you have read. He's your Teacher, and the Spirit of Jesus; your Comforter; your Convictor when you make mistakes, your Helper. He's here for you, now.
Pray this prayer to return to your first Love:
Lord, after what I've read today, I don't want to allow any spirit of compromise in my life! I now understand that the doctrine of the Nicolaitans is compromise with the world. Lord, I don't want to live with one foot in the church and another foot in the world. I want to break free completely from the world and its influence so I can give myself completely to Your cause! I want to be holy, to live in a way that pleases You, and to experience Your power in my life. Today I am renewing my commitment to You all over again! I turn from the world, and I am running to You!
I pray this in Jesus' Name!
Attend a full Gospel Church that teaches the same Gospel of Jesus Christ that you read in your Bible. Anything preached to you from a pulpit should be verified BY YOU in your Bible. Not a SOFT on sin Church. Revelation speaks of the Doctrine of the "Nicolaitans." Google that word. We need to know what it means (compromise).
Prophesy from the Bible teaches us in last days: the Falling Away of the Church; also Apostacy in the Church.
The temptation is to fall away and Follow the world, instead of Jesus Christ. The pull for us to do that is powerful. Who is the Tempter? Satan!
If you will study these things and not be a seeker of quick, easy, painless Christian belief, you will know more than most people.
Nicolaitans are domineering; hard on obedience and light on sin. Don't fall into that trap. JESUS said he HATED the doctrine of them.
Follow what Jesus says in the Bible.
Mishael
a. Heaven, the abode of God & His Holy Angels: Rev 4:2: "And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in HEAVEN, and one sat on the throne".
b. Heaven, the universe that contains the worlds (the planets, stars & constellations): Rev 6:13: "And the stars of HEAVEN fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind."
c. Heaven, the sky that has our atmosphere & clouds: Rev 11:6: "These have power to shut HEAVEN, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will."
d. Heaven, that God re-creates in the future that will be totally new, where wickedness will have no more access (i.e. after Satan is locked away for good): Rev 21:1: "And I saw a new HEAVEN and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea."
You'll cry.
Thanks for your help,

People are going to FALL AWAY. It is a prophesy. We ought to pray for those people: ask God to send angels to pull them out of the ditch and drag them back to Church.
Our society does nothing to undergird belief in anything other than money, self indulgence and self promotion. They will FALL AWAY.
1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
Hebrews 6:4-6 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost...
2 Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
Hebrews 3:12-19 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
Revelation 2:4-5 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
2 Peter 2:20-22 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
Matthew 24:10-13 - And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.....
Revelation 3:11 - Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
James 1:12 - Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
Pray for them! Mishael
You need to repent of your wandering and rededicate your Life to Jesus. John 17
Pray this prayer if this is what you seek? It's best to run to, 1 John 1:9 to confess things as soon as they happen.
It means return to your first love when you First met Jesus. The scripture is in Revelation 2:4

People who love each other, talk to one another every day. Open up and ask for your needs (not wants). If money, figure it down to the penny. If ideas come into your mind...it might be Jesus. Talk to Him. He listens to speech of faith. I happen to know that He likes to hear us sing and hum gospel tunes. Put him first and everything else will fall in behind him.
