What does it mean to fulfill his joy can you explain the whole verse

I don't understand your meaning of "the mark on christians". Are you referring to something that some Christians supposedly put on the outside, e.g. a cross, Jesus pendant, etc.? Or, maybe you're referring to Ephesians 1:13,14: where we have been sealed (or, marked & secured) by the Holy Spirit as God's Own?

However, the mark of the Beast, though we can't say for sure how it will be evident, seems to be an identifier on the skin or maybe under it, that reveals a person's decided position to follow & obey the rule of Anti-Christ. And this most will gladly do, so that they can still "buy & sell" & presumably lead somewhat normal lives, without being victimized or suffer hardship or even death.

That is what I thought however we do not have a pastor at this time and the church is considering an interim pastor but is a woman. We are Baptist, church is Baptist but reads out of the NIV. We are a very small church and most of us are over 70. What do you suggest. They don't seem to be having a problem with a woman preaching. Thank you for taking time for me.

Marilyn, just another question for you (aside from the present discussion), since you mentioned a cross reference of Jeremiah 3:23 to Genesis 3:12. Since I'm still trying to place your understanding of the Bible with what is normally understood by others, & of course taking into account your earlier mention of the pastor who shared some things with you that greatly upset you, I therefore ask you:

What is this Study Bible that you are reading from? Most Bibles will have another name, or at least mentioned within its early pages, give an indication of who has put it together. I mentioned earlier that mine is the KJV Ryrie Study Bible; anyone familiar with Bibles will immediately know the name as Charles C. Ryrie, a department Chairman, from the Dallas Theological Seminary. And if astute enough, they will probably know my theological position on a number of doctrines & teachings. But your interpretation of Scripture, it's cross references, & indeed your focus on perverted sin, tells me that your Bible is 'different' to what most of us read from. Would you care to oblige me this information? Thank you.

Hi Connie, I just read your story, and had to read it a number of times and can only imagine some of the trauma you must have suffered as a child, what you call blind faith I would call faith, that of a child, by your own admission your love for God is first in your life, and this is what God asks of us. The Bible IS meant to be read, studied, meditated on, discussed, acted on and obeyed. And probably many other action verbs.

It is The Word of God. Jesus said, "If ye love me, keep my commandments."Joh 14:15. How can you know what His commandments are unless you read the whole thing?

The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul:

the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart:

the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.

Brother Richard? Ezekiel again. It is waste of time to search Hebrew, Greek, or Aramaic languages. You won't enhance your understanding of scripture and I heard about 5,000 Greek manuscript fragments, most of them corrupt. We have Strong's Hebrew and Greek words attached to every word in KJV. They are enough for me. I do not need to learn about them. In my Bible software, I can find how a Hebrew or Greek word was translated differently, and yes the same word was translated differently into different English words.

I have studied KJV for the last 10 years, wrote complete Bible annotations (I don't call them Bible commentary anymore), came up with some new theologies, and ready to preach and start my own ministry--a conservative church, many old hymn singing with piano and/or organ (no drum or guitar), men wearing suits and women skirts, Sunday morning and evening, and midweek service. Sounds familiar? Can't find a church like it these days easily, huh, can we?

Yes it means love, Agape I believe this love for the brothern is assisted by the Holyspirit enabling us to be completely given over to one another, John has a lot to say about this love in his gospel and his letters. 1 John 2:5.

But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

This verse seems to suggest when this particular love is present in you for the brothern " here by we KNOW we are in him. This is part of the gifts of the spirit and also a fruit of the spirit. And also the love Peter struggled with in the flesh but when the Holyspirit indwelled him he was committed till his death.

1 Corinthians 13:13. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

That's what I thought but we are without a preacher right now and they are cinsidering sn interm and she it's a woman. We are a Baptist church and they use a NIV

I very much enjoy looking over the 1611 text, pictures of every page, on this site. As you've stated I've noticed some capital letter differences. With the spelling I myself wouldn't really call them errors. With other things like Jerusalem "Ierufalem", evil "euill", up "vp", ointment "oyntment", have "haue", son "fonne" etc. It seems in the old English they had a different way with some vowels and letters in certain words.

It is enjoyable to look over though. I believe the KJV is the best version of the Holy scripture we have. It is also very interesting to look over the Hebrew and Greek texts and compare with the KJV.

Any time someone asks, "Why did God...?" or "Why did Jesus...?" I think of the question, "Why did God hate Esau?"

"I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob, And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness." Mal 1:2-3.

My answer to that question is, "Why did God love Jacob?" He was such a deceiver!

The fact is that in most cases, God never tells us WHY.

We could speculate, but for what good?

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. No one knows all there is to know of the scripture, we grow as we study his word, and we learn from others, some scripture is clear and should bring us comfort not fear, If your trust in your salvation is " COMPLETELY " in Christ finish work on the cross YOU HAVE NO NEED OF FEAR OF JUDGEMENT he gave us comfort in his word.

Romans 8:1. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Here is one for the sabbath and anything else one would think he or she need to add to Christ finish work on the cross.

Colossians 2:13-15. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Are you KJV believer like me, Tom? I just posted a somewhat lengthy and stimulating note on KJV and KJV-1611. Even if not, still go ahead and read it. Thanks

Hello KJV believers? So am I. Use KJV-1611 which is better than KJV. The words are identical but 1611 has chapter summary, and cross references and literal translations in the margin notes. KJV changed a few capital letters to lower cases or vice versa, for example, like from Prince to prince. 1611 has real spelling errors like Ifaiah for Isaiah. I found about 38 typos so far. Big one. Go to Micah chapter 4 page; it shows Ioel (Joel) instead at the top of it.

I want to see 1611 large print and hopefully with spelling corrections but it is not available yet. Why did KJV remove chapter summary and margin notes what I consider very useful features? I still wonder!!??@@

Anybody found KJV English grammar pattern? For example, second person, singular, present and past tense, the verb has either 'st' or 'est' ending. If thou wert = If you were thou wast = you were thou (singular) and ye (plural).

Third person or object, singular, present tense, the verb has either 'th' or 'eth' ending. He saith, cometh; it hath.

Satan interferes people from using KJV; he wants them to read corrupt versions. Some of them are really outrageous--completely different thoughts--and some are less serious. We KJV onlyism people are blessed to read it. GOD is perfect and so is HIS Word. Then KJV is the only (or near) perfect GOD'S Word, isn't it? Just think about it. Would HE not provide a genuine Bible for us when HE wants us to know HIM and obey HIS commandments CORRECTLY?

Do not bother with comparing difficult verses with corrupt versions because they would not help you at all but they would mislead you rather. Ask friends or go to KJV commentary or annotation notes to find out what they mean. If you have one and ask me thru this website, then I will help you gladly. Again stay with KJV. Try to understand them with cross references, and pray to GOD more importantly. Holy Ghost will teach you. Thanks

The bible is meant to be read by going to where you

are lead .. a scripture came to me when i was a new christian... in church.. then it just spoke to me as if it was in charge not necessarily the one at the pulpit.

The group of end-time purists you describe are the 144,000 sealed from death, during the beasts short rule. The house of Israel and the house of Judah are the two witnesses that stand before God. They are the two olive trees and two candlesticks. These elect are hated so much that their dead bodies will lay 3.5 days in the street, then, taken up at the 7th trumpet.

Also, the reason for the "days being cut short" is due to the 6th trumpet, day of the Lord strike: Mystery Babylon & the Babylonian system is dramatically taken in under 1 hour; made a desolate wilderness. The attack is so powerful, it knocks the earth off its axis ( Isaiah 24:20) causing 1/3rd sun light removed. The darkness ensures the elects survival, like the woman in Rev 12 holds on.

Doesn't the Bible say the sexually perverse are prideful? Are you mistaken as to who the prideful ones are?

You mention Romans 1:21-24. Verse 23 ""And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into images made like to corruptible man, and birds, and fourfooted beasts and creeping things." Those people mentioned in Romans, those given to unnatural sex, have made false images of God. They are false images of God. When God looks at them he sees, animals, beasts, birds, and creeping things. This breaks the second commandment which reads, " Ex. 20:4 "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth." God sees the sexually perverse as animals, etc. Remember when he comes to earth he states this is a generation of vipers? A viper is a snake and Jesus sees an entire generation as snakes---creeping things.

God sees Adam and Eve as camels. Jeremiah 2:23, " How canst thou say, I am not polluted, I have not gone after Baalim? See thy way in the valley, know what thou hast done; thou art a swift dromedary traversing her way." A swift dromedary is a camel, a beast. And the cross-reference in my King James Study Bible takes us back to Adam and Eve. Gen. 3:12, "The woman thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree and I did eat." Husbands and wives who commit unnatural sex cannot say they are not a false image of God for they are a false image. God see them as a camel. They break the second commandment. When God looks at them, he sees a camel.

I'm not sure I really understand your opening statement...

"Jesus Christ is come in the flesh (Being witnessed by his own blood in the earth.) Therefore, IT IS SINFUL TO DIE A BODILY DEATH."

If "IT IS SINFUL TO DIE A BODILY DEATH," then according to that allegation, Jesus did something sinful, which contradicts, Hebrews 4:15, that Jesus never sinned even though He was tempted like we are.

"For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin." Heb 4:15.

Perhaps you could explain what you meant to clear things up. That would really help me.

To answer your question, women should not preach in church. But in other religious churches that believe God is not real or Jesus is still dead, those kind of churches probably, more than likely will allow or want women to preach. But in churches that believe in the KJV Bible, they do not believe that women should preach. A couple or few may allow women to preach, but pretty much all churches believing in the KJV version do not allow or want or even let women preach. Does that answer your question?

This was Jesus' response to women who were distraught and crying as Jesus was being lead to Golgotha to be crucified. He had been beaten repeatedly the previous night and into the early morning, slapped, spit on, crowned with thorns, hauled before the Jewish high priest, King Herod and Roman Governor Pilate and now, about to be crucified at 9:00 am. He pauses on His way long enough to utter these words to the sobbing women...

"Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children. For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck. Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us. For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?" Luk 23:28-31

Ezekiel gave you a good description. Here's a place where David used the breast plate, ephod, to get an answer from God.

"And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God. And David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech's son, I pray thee, bring me hither the ephod. And Abiathar brought thither the ephod to David. And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all." 1Sa 30:6-8
