That kind of fellowship is exactly what I believe I was searching for here.

When i read the scriptures and see how it tells of how the people think and act I find myself being the one who needs corrected.

I have never seen a scripture that I could say described how right i am thinking nor how wrong anyone else is thinking.

I am not ashamed to admit that I don't know how God , or Jesus is working with other people.

i see in my eyes, the one drop of love you described , is bigger than any ocean i have seen.

Jesus sent Paul to the Gentiles, but very few Gentiles believe his gospel to be saved. I'm glad to know some one believes it.

You are on a Bible site where the Bible is the final authority on what God is communicating to mankind.

Therefore,"That the weight of original sin can only be lifted through baptism, water and spirit", sounds like what your church teaches, but not found in this Bible as the remedy for sin of any kind.

From old to new testament God says how he would speak to his people ....

IASIAH 28:11 says...

For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to his people ....

ISAIAH 33:19 says...

Thou shalt not see a fierce people, a people of a deeper speech that thou canst not perceive; of a stammering tongue, that thou canst not understand

1 CORINTHIANS 14:14 says...

For when i pray in and unknown tongue , my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful

For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

Im so very sorry for you ,there is no way i am going to try and tell what you should do and i dont think any one else here would either . You must be heart broken . Do you not have a female friend you can trust to talk to ,it will help you im sure to talk to some one who knows you and your husband , strictly speaking you are free to do what ever you want to but please think very carefully before making a major decision that will impact the rest of your life ,please find a friend and have a chat ,you need support .It doesnt even need to be some one you actually like ,just some one you know is trustworthy and understanding .

See, I was told, when I asked this question of a popular and, in my opinion extremely spirit-filled and informative Pastor, that when we return to Earth, riding behind Christ, we won't NEED to fight with The Lord as "out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword," as mentioned in Rev.19:15. Furthermore, he stated, rather coyly that Jesus would "take care of business, not needing us."

Personally, I see things much differently and feel there is a purpose for us, returning with Christ; why else would it be mentioned? Armies! However, it does not expound, really, on the subjection, with our, the Saints involvement? Now, I did read this sites Commentary where the verse is broken down. Basically, it says that the example used is when the Roman Generals paraded the Army with the Captives behind. Somehow, Sir, I don't feel this is what is conveyed. Every mention of the "Armies," Biblically speaks to the Men who fought alongside, i.e., Joshua or David, etc., so why would one conceive any other train of thought?

I am able to humble myself and am only trying to learn but this is actually important to me as myself and all of my 5 Sons, are Warriors. In other words, I've long felt that we, collectively would fight, side by side with our King. I thank you, so very much for your time and attention and again, I want to learn, not in contradiction but spirit-filled!

We are JUSTIFIED (DECLARED righteous [we don't BECOME righteous] before God, saved, a ONE TIME EVENT) by FAITH ALONE (no works allowed) in Christ alone.

We are being SANCTIFIED (A CONTINUING PROCESS). Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. By their fruits ye shall know them. Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

You believe that Israel passing through the Red Sea might be a "symbol for (physical) spiritual baptism."

However, they were baptized as followers of Moses, in the cloud and the sea and the spiritual meat and spiritual drink, but they failed to appropriate these blessings because they were idolatrous.

"But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness." 1Co 10:5 (KJVA)

This baptism has NOTHING to do about being a follower of Jesus. This kind of allegorical fabrication is dangerous, it is putting something into the text that's not there. You must read this passage Paul is writing to the church at Corinth, not just one verse, reading something into this verse that is not there!

Despite the fact that they participated with Moses, immersed in these events, baptized in these great demonstrations of God's mighty power, they turned from God to idols and ALL that came out of Egypt perished in the wilderness, except for Joshua and Hur.

I think this website is pretty good. Most websites only have other types of verses not KJV which i read and KJV is all that i will read till i die lol.

Acts 12:4 The KJV is awesome at distinguishing between things. Easter was the pagan holiday that Herod observed (Herod build many pagan cities) and Passover was observed by God fearing Jews ( Exodus 12).

Just wanted to be sure about the cloud. I feel like under the cloud God's protection and heaven and passing though the water, as symbol for (physical) spiritual baptism.

Thank you SkipVought for your reflections/insights into damnation and redemption. I believe in original sin. That the weight of original sin can only be lifted through baptism, water and spirit, as He explained to Nicodemus and Faith in Christ through the sacraments if available. I don't believe we are all saved, universalism is demonic, Anti-Christ. I say demonic because Universalism implies the Devil and his cohorts could also be saved which we know to be nonesense as spirits know God completely and so once turned would not want to return. Our blessed Lord explicitly states the two destinations a soul will ultimately reside on separation from the body. We are given free will to choose the right path, with God's grace, without which, as He said, there is no hope for man. He most certainly wants all souls to be saved but if that was a given there would be no need for the Incarnation and it would make a mockery of the Jewish faith Upto his arrival. He simply wants what he created to share eternal bliss with the triune Godhead but cannot ignore His own Justice. The church teaches us all to be in sanctifying grace so not to tempt the Lord our God. He came to save His own from eternal damnation.

Apparently the people of Lachish participated in worshiping other gods, just as the 10 northern tribes, Israel, under King Jeroboam did, which lead to Jerusalem, the center of worship in Judah, to also begin idol worship.

God is giving Judah warning about their idolatry just as He gave Israel warning. Israel failed to repent and God sent the Assyrians in about 722 BC who took the people of the 10 northern tribes and dispersed them among the nation: the lost tribes of Israel. Judah did not repent either, a subsequent to Micah's prophecy in 606 BC, Judah was attacked by the Babylonians and many were deported to Babylon and Jerusalem was destroyed.

Remember faith is a verb not a noun...

When i read the scripture , it tells me that we are saved by Grace THROUGH FAITH.... WE know that Grace is the Authority that enables us to overcome , we know that Faith is the substance of things HOPED FOR the evidence of things NOT SEEN... James tells us that FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD.. The scripture tells us that we must have Grace to support our Faith .. Faith alone dose not secure our salvation WE must have works of the spirit We must grow up into Christ . Jesus said i am the Author and the Finisher of your faith.. HE WROTE THE BOOK.
