When I opened the book of Joshua, the first 18 verses of Ch 1 were displayed. After reading them I tried to read further: from v 19 onward. I could not figure out how to go further. Please let me know if you can read all the verses from this site. Thanks.

If not, I will go back to the paper copy of my Bible, and use this site only to look up particular verses or phrases.

How do I go from page to page? Thank you!

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He makethme to lie down in green pastures:he leadeth me beside still waters. He restoreth my soul:he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea,Though I walk through the valley of the shallow of death, I will fear no evil: for thouare with me;they rod and staff they comfort me. Thou prepared a table before me in the presence of my enemies: thou anointed my head with oil; my cup runners over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the lord for ever. God is all I will ever need, yes he fight for me and comfort me when fear try to take my joy away. Trust him, glorify my God, he will not lead you a stray. God is

People need to read the Bible and quit making up stuff that they think will happen because that is what is going to come down just what the Bible says! Just tell people to read John 3 16 that verse tells you in a very very simple way what you need to do to make it to Heaven! Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and if you truly believe in Him you are going to live like God wants you to! All you have to do is be a Believer, so simple! It is so easy for me to believe in God and his Son Jesus Christ just by looking at this world and everything in it! It did not just evolve like people say it was to complex for that! It was created by God and just say look at the Sun. It has burned at the same temp. from the day it was created also and has never ran out or low on fuel since that day it was created! Amen!!! I hope so much that I am pleasing God because I want to go to Heaven and just think of the best day you have ever had on earth ever and times that day by one million and that is what it will be like in Heaven and then some!! Amen!

Comments by Alex about the Rapture, We are gona be caught away but its in the spritual realm ,Remember John said he was in the Spirit on the LORDS day implies he was in the Spiritual realm but he was actually on the Isle of Patmos according to his body.If we walk in the spirit we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. When Jesus said unless you receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child you will in no wise enter there in. The Kingdom of God will come as the new birth, a lil Child. The very fact that the Kingdom of God is gonna come and be with in us ( sinners ) is the real rapture and its gonna come as a birth, a heavenly birth as we have borne the image of the EARTHY we must also bear ( birth ) the image of the heavenly a new innerman which has to be born in us via that good seed the WORD. This is the real rapture that Jesus spoke about when he said unless ya receive the Kingdom of God as a lil child you will in no wise enter there in, he was in essence saying we are gona birth our king and thats y Jesus always refered to himself as the Son of Man . There is BABY Christ in our future which can only come via his seed the WORD and that child is the Kingdom ,The Child of Promise. Thy kingdom come thy will be done is in essence th Rapture but it comes as a birth ,unless ya receive the KINGDOM OF GOD AS A LIL CHILD IS THE RAPTURE BUT ITS ALSO A BIRTH . A heavenly birth. We don't need to go anywhere Jesus plainly tells us the Kingdom is gona be within you, Its simply in the spritual realm as Jesus said that which is Born of the SPIRIT IS SPIRIT THATS THE H.G. the Kingdom of God and unless ya receive the KINGDOM OF GOD as a lil child. A lil child implies a birth . After the woman gives birth in verse 10 John says Now is come Salvation and the Kingdom of God and the power of his Christ ( her child ) which is the H.G. that is gona rule all nations as Jesus spoke about. When he the spirit of truth is come which is the H.G. TH MANCHILD IMPLING MANKINDS FRUIT UNTO GOD. GB

The King James version is the correct one. Use only the KJV. Do not trust any other version. Stay away from NIV or any other. There are errors in the new translations. Throw it in the dustbin. And get yourself a Strong's concordance based on the KJV. It will teach you the original meaning of every word. Read also John 17:6

If I may. The kingdom is always changing. We who believe the word know these things because of history. The prophets declared , things and events in the old testament. We see these words also from John, and apostle are the revelation, are the compilation of events that would come to pass at sometime, and or in sometime! Gods word is eternal, and God wants all people to be saved. Because of this ,our God is longsuffering and wishes non to perish. Enoch and Elijah, were translated into heaven bodily. The new testament has described this to happen again ,"one taken and another left". Christ also teaches of his coming, while he is ever present with us. Understanding his words are paramount! we should add nothing to it nor take away from it, more than it says. Christ wants us to watch, to be patient, and you to know ,that you are in the palm of His hand! Is this not enough for you and I to serve Him?

In the Greek the word [stedfastness] is [sterigmos] which means; established, strong, fixed, solid. And you can fall from being solid in Jesus or the Word. Read 2 Peter 2: 15-22 where people who have known the way have turned and followed after Baal. Their condition is now worse than before.

The Bible and the word of God is laid out in the form of the tabernacle or a cross. ( Ex 25).The shadow and figure of the Stature of Jesus Christ is unveiled in the detailed blueprint of the Old Testament Tabernacle, known as Moses' Tabernacle. This was the first Tabernacle, and it was a picture of the Second Tabernacle, the LORD Jesus Christ; therefore, we can find all Spiritual Principles of Wisdom, Understanding, and Knowledge hidden within it. There are 7 pieces of furniture in the tabernacle. The first is the Brazen Altar where the sacrifices took place. It is picture of Christ sanctifying blood sacrifice on the cross. Next in the courtyard is the laver (wash basin)or (baptism). This is God's beginning principle of growth. Every believer or nation must experience the blood, fire and water (baptism) which together makes up the foundational part of the cross. Next is the Holy place wherein is the altar of incense(prayer) , the candlesticks (knowledge, understanding, wisdom), and the table of showbread (Christ's governmental strength). then in the Holy of Holies is the ark of the covenant and the mercy seat. This is God's throne room where HE promises to commune and meet with us. SO when you read anything in the bible the word will fit on the cross(tabernacle) and teach us something specific. The old testament had a natural tabernacle but Jesus is a picture of a more perfect tabernacle.( Heb 9:2-11) We can learn how to grow by studying the meaning behind the furniture in Moses' tabernacle and what it represents. (Tim 3:16,17)

I declare and decree that you will meet a man after Gods own heart. A man to love you like christ loves his church. I pray you will experience love on another level even growing together in the spirit while serving the Lord. Father God thank you for this great man of God you have in store for your daughter. Blow her mind father blow her mind for the loving way and attention this man of God will give her for treating her like the princess she is. In the name of Jesus. Amen and amen!!!!!!!

I'm so grateful I could never deny his love and mercy because greater love than his no man has. I pray all would speak to him because he longs for a personal relationship with us as his children.

Matt 24:40-41 and Luke 17:34 is definitely talking about the rapture. The rapture is when Jesus will appear in the sky to catch away the "OVERCOMERS". Not all Christians are overcomers and go up in the rapture. Overcomers are those Christians who have crucified and overcome the flesh ( Gal 5:17-19) and rules over their carnal mind, will and desires of the flesh ( Rom 8:7-9). This is the principle of growing in God ( 2 Tim 3:16,17). Some will be left behind to go through the first half of the tribulation period (3.5 yrs). Those left behind are saved but haven't crucified their flesh enough to be overcomers. This is not the second coming of Jesus where everyone will see Him. The rapture takes just before the tribulation and just after the Antichrist is revealed on the earth. The Antichrist is Judas Iscariot .

Alison, this is a huge subject to deal with here, especially to cite supporting Scriptures. May I suggest you refer to this Site: calvarycedarrapids dot com & then go to their Media Tab & then Downloads. As you search there, you should see an option for Rapture/End Times & then, Pre-Tribulation Rapture. A very comprehensive lesson is given with plenty of supporting Scriptures. For your discussion with the SDA man, you may want to list the points down & their Scriptures & anything else that will help you in your discussion.

Now, there are plenty of fine believers that also hold to the other positions of Christ's Second Coming, also supporting their position with pertinent Scriptures. So we need to be open to the other's presentation, ask questions & follow through with research on what they share. The Lord bless you during your study & in your meeting.

At death, a sinner suffers a threefold separation of his being:

his body goes to the grave, his soul goes to hell (sheol), and his spirit ascends upward to God. [ Ecc 3:21]. Each sinners death loosens another wicked spirit which increases the number of spirits that war against Christians. Ghosts are demons meant to "copy" the spirit of an unbeliever. A believer (saved sinner's) spirit can't return to earth. The body goes the grave and the spirit and soul returns to God.

In the Old Testament Dispensation, upon the death of a believer, his body went to the

grave, and his soul and spirit went to Paradise, also called death and Abraham's bosom. After the Blood of Jesus was applied to the Mercy Seat in Heaven, the spirit and soul of a believer could go directly into the presence of the LORD ( II Corinthians 5:8).

God is not slack concerning, his promises. God meant what he say. God made Male and female in the beginning. If a man leave his father house, he should cleave to his wife for life. God is not the author of confusion. God made us male and female. GOD made the man first, then he took a rib out of man and made woman. I'm a single woman. I will marry a man, or I will not marry
  • Gary Lee - In Reply on Philippians 2 - 5 years ago
Hi Kevin. If you are referring to "let us make an in our image" then God was talking to JESUS and the Holy Spirit. In the Godhead you have the Father, Word and the Holy Spirit an these three are one. So God is 3 but operates as one as all 3 agrees when something is done. In vs 28 he says to Adam male and female to take care of all living things (animals and plants) as we know them today. So Adam male and female was the first humans created on this earth. If you wondering about Gen 2vs7 then God is just restating how Adam was formed in Gen 1:26. At this stage Eve was still not visible to Adam. Eve was later formed out of Adam's rib and revealed to him but she was part of him up till then. You could say that Adam was both male and female when God created him. Be careful to keep it in context. This might give creedance to the LGBTQ community stance though.

You can lose your salvation if you turn and reject the truth and follow after Balaam. Read ( 2 Pet 2:15-22) For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than , after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. Remember the devil walks around like a roaring lion try to devour whom he can. Trying to take the righteous off the path and he sometimes does succeed. That's why it is important to grow daily in the knowledge of Jesus Christ so that we are able to withstand the wiles of the devil. Let yesterday's victory be a foundation of faith to stand on so that we can build on it today and become stronger for tomorrow we will be tested once more.
  • Chris - In Reply on Genesis 1 - 5 years ago
I believe we will - if not at this side of the Rapture, then certainly on the other side, with our bodies changed from a corrupt state to a glorified state. But you know Grace, I really wonder whether being in the very presence of the Father & the Son will so enrapture us, causing us to be forever in praise, thankfulness & worship, that anyone or anything else would pale into insignificance around God's Throne.

If "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him", then how much more will be the sight of our loving Heavenly Father & of His Glory & of His Son, so consume our attention & devotion.
