The sons of God in Genesis 6 seems to refer to fallen angels, who were directly created by God instead of through a lineage. It seems they had children with human women and the offspring were giants. The giants were wiped out in the flood (entirely?), and I seem to recall that the fallen angels who had the offspring were sealed somewhere beneath the earth. However, I can't currently find where I read that.

Yes, 2 Timothy 3:6-9, when Paul was writing to Timothy, warning him of those with "corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith". Paul even mentions the Egyptian magicians from Exodus chapter 7, that mimicked their rods turning into serpents. Satan's attack is manipulation. Those who have fallen under his manipulation are the reprobates Paul is mentioning.

Know your Bible folks, ground yourself in it. The reason we are given the ARMOR of God, is to have defense for when satan tries to attack. The weapon we are given as our sword is The Holy Spirit, which is the word of God... FOR A REASON :)

In my local Sunday Bible class we are going over John 17: 14-24, KJV. The lesson is entitled, "Called As The Intercessor" Thats where I came across verse 17. I don't believe that Genesis 6:3 tells us how long we can live. Moses, who wrote that verse, lived longer than that. The 120 years refers to the time then left before the coming flood.

I have nothing to do with the RCC doctrine, in Jesus teachings (KJV) he tells us to believe as little children and so I do believe when I read my bible, I don't understand a lot of it, such as how could Jesus raise someone from the dead, but I know he raised Lazarus, John 11:43, or how could he walk on water as in Matthew 14:25, but I know he did, and many more. Nowhere in the bible does it teach us that we need to understand, but only believe, believe as little children, when you see the trust and faith that a child has in their parent this is what Jesus teaches, only in the cross and his saving grace. the thief that was saved on the cross, he didn't have time to read up on scripture but only believe, and so on. I watch Billy Graham episodes on y tube, on a regular basis, and in one of his sermons he describes the trinity as in water, in water you have, liquid, ice and steam, they are all have the same components, but are different in form. So also as in 1 John 5:7 "the Father, Word and Holy Ghost and these three are one", neither do I understand this, but I know it's true.

If you're referring to Revelation 16:17, then this verse speaks of an angel (from God) who pours out his vial upon the Earth in the time of the Great Tribulation (when God's Anger is poured out upon the world). After the contents of the vial was poured out, there were thunders, lightnings & a great earthquake. So there's no devil seen in this verse, & certainly no internet.

However, Ephesians 2:2 does mention the "prince of the power of the air". Maybe you're thinking of this, as certainly the Devil is implied here, but any reference to the internet is not seen here either.

The answer to your question is there in Genesis 1:3: "And God SAID". Out of God, came forth His WORD in speech, to create Light. The question is: how does this WORD fit into the Being of God? Is the WORD a part of God as His Spirit is? Or do you see some differentiation? I see that God, His Word & His Spirit are infused as One, indivisible & completely of Spirit Being (not of flesh). Therefore, if that Word, which was from the beginning, with God & was God ( Jn 1:1), was specially sent to this World clothed with flesh to bring God's Word to His people & ultimately to lay down His Life for them & us, then Who are we speaking about?

So to specifically answer your question: "Who spoke it God or Jesus?" It was God through Jesus, the pre-incarnate Word of God - the Word uttered by God. Then when Jesus, God's Word, came to this Earth, God no longer spoke to His people as He did before, but now "Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he MADE the worlds" ( Hebrews 1:2). Made the worlds? Yes, His Word that was uttered in Genesis 1 was engaged in God's creative Work ( Colossians 1:15-17).

And No, this is not RCC doctrine - we hold fully to the Bible, to apostolic teaching & the beliefs held by the early Church.

The most confusing issue here is the mark that is to be received. If you do not know what is the mark there is no way you can avoid taking it. But believing our Creator is righteous GOD He will not punish an ignorant person. It is written in Act 17 verse 30 - 31 where it says He winked at time of ignorance. To understand the mark of the beast we need to know the mark of our Creator and is found in Exod 31 Verse 17. Therefor if the mark of our Creator is a day I believe the mark of the beast is a day.

Let each one of us judge for ourselves if we are in faith as the scriptures say then we will be able to avoid the mark of the beast.

May our Creator YAH bless and keep us for His kingdom

I believe this verse speaks about the certain end of all of mankind, i.e. death. That is the appointment we all have to keep except the Lord intervene. And that will be for the Christian, at the appearing of Christ for His Own, a time when they will escape death & be ushered right into the presence of Jesus forever.

The truth about this verse is that the Name of our Creator cannot be Jehovah because:

1. There is no letter J in Hebrew.

2. The pronouncing of our Creator's name can be found in the word HalleluYah found in the book of Psalms and the book of Revelation.

3. The name Jehovah does not carry the meaning that is in our Creator's name

Suzanne, I can see from what you've shared, that you are very sensitive & careful to please the Lord in every area of your life. And yes, we if are honest with ourselves, hardly a day would go by without some sin or some aberrant behaviour we express, that affects us before God & our own consciences. And it would be wrong for anyone to tell you that you are overly introspective & to overlook these things. No sin, however insignificant, can be overlooked & yet, as you state, we are daily cast upon God's mercies & forgiveness because of the shed Blood of His Son, for forgiveness & restoration.

This is the battle we all face in life as Christians & the word to us is always to persevere in our faith & not lose heart. Satan will always be at our door to force us or trap us into some sin - we will be victorious over some - we might fail in others. But I see a couple of key things here for you (& each of us): when our spirits are affected because of some act of sin, we know that it is God's Spirit within us Who is reminding us of our slip up & He is there to help you find forgiveness & restoration: God's Presence. The other thing is that through such failure, we are being taught & strengthened in being more watchful for the next time & in better dealing with it: God's Power. In other words, even though we might not see it, as we gain victories over sin, however small, we are learning to be fully cast upon the Lord & we are becoming more like Him.

If there's a particular area of your life that you know that Satan is attacking you in & causing you to sin, then it is something that needs to be brought before the Lord & your special attention through prayer, reading the Word & using it in those times of temptation. For some, it may be, being given to anger easily, or impatience, or careless thoughts, or many other areas of weakness. All these areas, God is able to help you, strengthen & guide you through, as you look to Him & rest in Him. 1 Corinthians 10:13; James 1:2,3.
