It means you will die at some point not necessarily immediately. Up until that point there was eternal life no death for Adam and Eve. That is my take. Hope it helps.

My King James bible only has Ecclesiastes so there must be a King James version with extended versions and scriptures. I was following a teaching on a "Wise Judge will instruct his peoples" so i went to Ecclesiastes come to find out it's Ecclesiasticus 10:1 not Ecclesiastes 10:1 it was some what very difference. Tell me how can i receive this bible under the name of the King James Bible.

In Luke 17;20 Jesus is speaking about the son of man in his day at the end times as if this son of man is different from Jesus or am I not reading this correctly?also I have noticed that in the beginning of the Bible God created everything all the people all the animals all the plants and then lord god is with Adam and Eve and their roll in the world as chosen for lord god to show a separate group of people their own personal history and if these people wanted to take part in having a companion from the other group that would be acceptable but I'm not at all sure about how I read into these things thank you for your help.

The "Feast Days" are Jewish remembrance Feasts that they were required to adhere to. These feasts were meant to bring back to memory what the LORD God had done for them during their history. Had the Jews recognized their Messiah & turned from their sins through faith in Him, then those Feast Days would hold no more significance, other than just historical events. Those Feasts looked forward to Jesus Christ Who was their fulfilment.

So the believer (both Jew & Gentile) do not "keep the Feast Days" as their purpose has already been accomplished through the Lord Jesus. The Lord's Supper is strictly a memorial 'feast' in remembrance of the Lord's death & resurrection. Though this "Supper" has no direct connection to the purpose of the Jewish Feasts, it is in a sense, a Christian feast that is celebrated whenever we choose to do so, rather than at a specific time of the year (as with the Jewish Feasts). The Jewish Feast looked forward to the coming Messiah & His Sacrifice - the Lord's Supper looks backward to all that the Messiah has done for us at the Cross.

Yes Chris...I should have known after RC grade school and high school...but had no knowledge of biblical teachings I just knew the mass. There is an "auto pilot" reaction to taking a pue at mass for many.

Yes, I praise God that He delivered my family from datkness! Now there is true love in my heart for the Lord and a desire to fellowship with Him. I used to be afraid to think about God because I did not understand grace. I thought I had to earn my way into Heaven and knew that I was not "good enough". First stop after we die is called paradise. Where we will be judged for all things done while we lived. Either good or bad. We will get rewards there also for the good things we have done. And maybe some rewards will be taken away for the bad things we have do. Then its on to heaven after this judgement. If you make to paradise, you are safe.

14:1-6 Job enlarges upon the condition of man, addressing himself also to God. Every man of Adam's fallen race is short-lived. All his show of beauty, happiness, and splendour falls before the stroke of sickness or death, as the flower before the scythe; or passes away like the shadow. How is it possible for a man's conduct to be sinless, when his heart is by nature unclean? Here is a clear proof that Job understood and believed the doctrine of original sin. He seems to have intended it as a plea, why the Lord should not deal with him according to his own works, but according to His mercy and grace. It is determined, in the counsel and decree of God, how long we shall live. Our times are in his hands, the powers of nature act under him; in him we live and move. And it is very useful to reflect seriously on the shortness and uncertainty of human life, and the fading nature of all earthly enjoyments. But it is still more important to look at the cause, and remedy of these evils. Until we are born of the Spirit, no spiritually good thing dwells in us, or can proceed from us. Even the little good in the regenerate is defiled with sin. We should therefore humble ourselves before God, and cast ourselves wholly on the mercy of God, through our Divine Surety. We should daily seek the renewing of the Holy Ghost, and look to heaven as the only place of perfect holiness and happiness.

Concerning Matthew 10:22 -

How sad it is that all those who chose to post under this daily verse, have totally ignored the complete verse. Why would it be that we only pick and chose from the Word of God, dismissing what we will.

The verse of the day - "And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved."

I pray that we all will accept Exodus 31:3 - "And I filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship". The Holy Spirit is "the beginning of understanding"; therefore if one ever hears the phrase "we will understand it by and by", let us turn quickly and run the other way. How sad to hear.
