"the inspired word of God" means nothing. It literally tells you its from inspiration.

Its all added to and taken from as you can tell.

I take the 20th verse of 1 John Ch. 3 to mean that, even when we feel guilt over past sin, God looks into our heart and sees our desire to repent. Any thoughts from others?

If you're alive, then You are a Living Soul! Genesis 2:7 KJV: "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." Human's are "Living Souls" or "Living Beings". The Body(physicality, physiology , cognizance, mental formations, etc.) + The Spirit( life force, energy) = A Living Soul!

Jesus Christ's coming from Heaven is described in the Book of the Revelation, chapter 19, verses 11-16, but you should read the whole chapter.
  • Chris - In Reply on Tobit 12 - 5 years ago
Tobit is an Apocryphal Book. That means that it, along with many others, have not been recognized (canonized) as worthy to be placed in the Bible. You can get some Bibles with the Apocryphal Books in them. If you want to find it here, then go to the bottom of the Main Page and click on KJV Apocrypha. You should find Tobit amongst that list & then do a search for your particular reference.

There have always been false prophets and teachers who have sought to derail the work of God. We must focus on the Scripture, while redeeming the time for the days are evil.

He is taking to Esdras. And this is saying any nation outside of the ISRAELITES are compared to spit. Isaiah 40:17 says the same thing. The text in 2 Esdras 6:55-56 it gets more specific about who GOD is NOT call spit

    God bless you brother Nigel

Yes, definitely. But what is the Sabbath? The Sabbath is Jesus Christ. He is our rest. Every day of our lives we should strictly live a life of devotion towards our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is our all in all, and the true Sabbath. The true rest.

    Matthew 11:28

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

    Love in Christ

The seventh day is Saturday, not Sunday. The Sabbath was changed by Rome. Yes, the seventh day is significant. Along side the spirit of prophecy, and the testimony of Jesus, the Sabbath, Saturday, the seventh day, is a theme running through the entire Holy Writ. It will play an important role in the "end time" for those that receive the seal of God in the forehead. Those that don't have the seal of God will not keep the Sabbath but Sunday. Sunday worship was done by pagans and the sole reason the children of Israel would've led into captivity for their apostacy. Fooling yourself about what the seventh day is doesn't change the reality God clearly, plainly, and consistently, claimed Saturday His holy day, not Sunday.

The believer and the Savior ( Jude 1:24-25)

    1. Jesus' ministry ( Jude 1:24)

    a. His current ministry ( Jude 1:24a): Preventing us from falling down here.

    b. His coming ministry ( Jude 1:24b): Presenting us faultless up there.

    2. Jesus' magnificence ( Jude 1:25): "Glory, majesty, power, and authority belong to him, in the beginning, now, and forevermore. Amen."

I love and have memorized this verse!

A poem or hymn, rather, based on Jude 25 is

    To God, the only wise,

    In every age adored,

Let glory from the Church arise,

    Through Jesus Christ our Lord.

    LORD, AT THIS CLOSING HOUR

And again, Luke 10:16 "He that HEARETH YOU HEARETH ME; and HE THAT DESPISETH YOU DESPISETH ME; and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me."

What about witnessing to our family members? Family are perhaps the hardest people to preach to. Because they know us. "Oh that's just Joshua, I've known him since I was a kid. He used to pull my hair! What does he know?"

It's as Jesus said, "No prophet is accepted in his own country." Or by their own family! God tells us this: "And of some HAVE COMPASSION, MAKING A DISTINCTION: And others SAVE WITH FEAR, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh." Jude 22-23

But God even gave us the example of our own wives/husbands if they reject and leave us BECAUSE of the Gospel:

1 Corinthians 7:15 'But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace. 16 For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife?'

If an unbelieving husband or wife leaves us, we are not under bondage to go after them. If we are not REQUIRED to go after our own spouses, why would we go after the dogs/swine? Recall again Matthew 7:6.

I can't be sure, but it sounds as if you may have read some commentary or an individual's transliteration or depiction of Ezekiel 4:4-6.

"Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity.

For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.

And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year."

What you read might have been the person's view of Israel's & Judah's sins (the nails representing the sins that Ezekiel had to bear (under him), both on the right & left side of his body as he lay). This type of translation, I believe, requires a great stretch of the imagination: though sin can be painful & requires one's quick release from its effects & God's judgement, to think that Ezekiel had to suffer by laying on nails for over a year, is not a thought that one should entertain.

Exodus 3 v 15 Comments by Alex on the TRINITY, Why i believe in the Trinity. There is only 1 God the Father but this 1 God the Father had a Son whom he instructs ALL the angels to worship . The Father wd be breaking the 1 st commandment if he instructed All the angels to WORSHIP the Son if he were not God the Son . In Hebrews 1 it says unto the Son, he says thy throne O GOD is forever and ever etc. This is my beloveth Son in whom i am well pleased. But the SON is not impotent he has a seed to sow which is his word saying to whom the word came it made them Gods plural ,thus we see the Son is gona be a Father, the Child is the H.G. tHE GRANSON IN RANK WITH Jacob .Thus we see 3 father son and granson just like Abraham Issac and Jacob . Thats y he told Moses i am the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob that is my name forever and my memorial to ALL GENERATIONS, Father son and granson resulting in the nation of ISRAEL. God almighty cd NOT tell Moses that his name was Abraham Issac and Jacob if his kingdom were not a Father Son and Granson scenario , A FAMILY . Just like the Davidic Kingdom was Jesse, David and Solomon a family . Thats y the scripture speaks of an Israel of God, Its God Almighty that wants a posterity and Christ was just his 1st born of many brethren impling a family a heavenly family An ISRAEL OF GOD Thats y he told Moses that his name was Abraham Issac and Jacob prophetic of an Israel of God that y Jesus is saying that which is born of the spirit is spirit thats the H.G THE Child of PROMISE, THE Israel of God, we sinners are just a joint heir with the H.G That heavenly Jacob, Isaiah speaks of in 49 . If ya dont understand the abrahamic trinity ya will not understand the heavenly trinity . Abraham offered up his only son Issac just as God Almighty offered up his only son Jesus THAT PROVES THE TRINITY the Godhead, That ram caught in the thicket by his horns was symbolic of Christ, his Crown of Thorns. They remembered th ram caught in thicket when saw Jesus .
