Sandra, this matter of homosexuality has been condemned by God throughout the Scriptures. Even before God gave the Law to Israel, which included this matter ( Leviticus 18:22 & verse 23 for bestiality), God had pronounced judgement against Sodom & Gomorrah (Genesis chapters 18 & 19) for their many wicked deeds which included homosexuality. Then in the New Testament of the Bible ( 1 Corinthians 6:9,10), the apostle Paul speaks of the many who can never enter God's Kingdom. But if these people acknowledge that what they do, is sin against God & sincerely repent & turn away from it, then they can truly be forgiven & brought into a holy relationship with God.

As in generations gone by, much of what the Bible calls SIN, is regarded by people today as of no consequence. So if engaging in homosexual activities gives someone happiness & companionship then why should anyone condemn them, is what they say. But God Who made us, made us male & female & that this union within marriage would reflect God's plan for mankind & be the means of a loving, fruitful relationship that would produce offspring as a result of that love. Any departure from this plan is wrong & God will deal with all those that do it.

So what about the homosexual saying that that is how I am from birth? Or he becomes one out of his choice or because of a devastating upbringing? Then what about the kleptomaniac who can't help but steal or the prolific liar & deceiver who gives no second thought to his sin? All this is sin & must be acknowledged as such & to be turned away from. Yes, it will be hard for these to exercise discipline & do what is necessary to depart from evil, but when one turns to Jesus & is made new, God's Power will rest upon him & he can be healed.

When I see a homosexual, I see a person whom God loves & longs that he turn away from his wickedness. No sin is too great that Christ's Sacrifice for them can't fully atone for. But we need to acknowledge it first & the world refuses to do so.

Submit to God and Resist the devil.

Sin is offensive to God. But God loves the sinner. Romans 5:8

"So why does man not have 3 heads?" Does God have three heads?

"Or at least 3 distinct personalities?" The Bible speaks of man having a body, soul & spirit ( 1 Thessalonians 5:23), which doesn't in the least equate to the Persons in the Godhead, but does indicate that a trinity is necessary for man so that he is how God intended him to be & exist. If one aspect of our trinity is missing, then what do we have left?

Then the question should be: What is God's Image? There can be many answers to this as Scripture doesn't reveal it clearly, but one thing is clear, that our image is not of any physical appearance to God. God is Spirit & no one has seen Him, except the revelation of Him in and through His Son. So I see God's Image to be the character of God that He has imparted to mankind but for sin that has marred & distorted that image. Virtues as godly love, self-awareness, justice, mercy, kindness, hope, eternity set in our heart & many more no doubt, would count for Who God is & what He has imparted to us, that which animals don't possess.

I think 2 adults can do what they want ,and I don't see why that's anyone's business but theirs. don't try to be the mind of god.

In what book can I find the verse "Marry the child of your youth".

1 John 4 v15

It says that who ever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God , if you add to Jesus here you are not confessing He is the Son of God .

You would be creating another Jesus . You can not add to the written word of God in statements like this one . 1 John 4 Verse 15 without being in error .

So, as you believe, that in Jesus is found the Godhead (Father, Son & Holy Spirit), which in a sense is true, since the Godhead is just that - without one the others aren't complete in Unity. But this now raises two other problems:

a. Mark 14:36: "And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt." If Jesus is now God on Earth without a God in Heaven, then to Whom is Jesus crying out to? And for what reason? Surely, it can't be a cry to Himself as God the Father, since that becomes nonsense & also that Heaven is now devoid of the Divine.

b. 1 Peter 3:22; Hebrews 1:3, 8:1, 12:2; Romans 8:34, etc. All these Scriptures show us that Jesus is now seated at the Father's right Hand & Jesus Himself said, "I go to the Father" ( John 16:16). How should I understand such declarations if the Father only exists now in the Person of Jesus? Is Jesus going to His Father that is already Himself? Such interpretations are mind-boggling that even go past the mystery of the Trinity. I'm sorry, but what you expect me to believe goes into the realm of extra-biblical claims & would need some careful explanation. May the Lord lead us into His Truth.

Rev. Autrey, indeed Isaiah 9:6 does say that (Jesus) will be called Everlasting Father & the Mighty God. He was & is every part that completes the Godhead as revealed to us. In Romans 8:9 we also read "But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his." Here Paul speaks of both God's Spirit & Christ's Spirit - self same Spirit without Whom, the Godhead would be incomplete & we would not be children of God, indwelt & sealed by Him.

And John 14:17, "Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you." If one removes God the Father & say that Jesus is now our God (post incarnation), then one is compelled to do likewise to His Spirit. If one does not do so, then we would have a Binity, & that too is unacceptable.

Re: John 1:1 ff: true, the Word of God is God - God cannot be seen without the His Word & His Spirit. But why should John say, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."? Wouldn't it be easier to say that "In the beginning God was there" & just leave off "the Word"? So just say, that "this God then became flesh & dwelt among us". That would easily transfer the position of God to Jesus on Earth. But maybe, the Word has something to do with that part of the Godhead that was sent to the Earth to become a man & to fulfil the Father's Will in bringing forth the Word to His people & be the sacrificial Lamb for His people.

I can't think of a replacement for the word Holiness , but it speaks to me of purity And perfection , no darkness , no evil , no sin , nothing that defiles or makes unclean .

More can be said of course , this is my first impression.

God has no pleasure with foolishness , you might ask why does God hate evil ?

It says God is angry with sinners , yet if they repent he is willing to forgive them , because he loves mercy over judgement .

God knows everyone and He is the perfect judge . He sees things only he can see about people , so must except that .

Why is some of the printing in the REVELATION, RED, in Chapters 2 and 3? Also in REV. 14:10, 19:20, the Beast was also cast into fire and 21:8, it addresses the issue of fire, which is the second Death. Is this because the first Death was by water for the evil people? I also believe FIRE is pertaining to Nuclear Fire, for we are, in the near future heading this way. With the advancements of the Electronic age, the whole World is now engaged in Serious EVIL everywhere. Destruction from this age will kill all life, good and evil!

Why did God hate Esau and love Jacob? What had Esau done? Is this because he gave up his birthright for the food?

1. Is there any passage in the bible where God says forsake the devil and follow Me and I God will give you ten times.

2. Is there any passage in the bible where God says He will owe man for doing good?

What Jesus spoke of in Mark 4:11,12 is an echo of what God said to Isaiah in Isaiah 6:8-11. In that portion, Isaiah actually had to tell the people that they would not understand God's message to them as an indictment to the stubbornness of their hearts.

Jesus gives the same warning to those living during His times, as they too were hardly ready to receive great spiritual Truths when they had to first realize that 'indeed, the Messiah of God had come amongst them'. So it was through parables, using illustrations that the people could easily understand, that people would be drawn to listen as well as the many miracles He performed in their sight.

Many did believe that Jesus was the coming Christ as a result of this, but it was only after the Cross that Jesus' Words could be understood for the wisdom that was contained in them. However, to His disciples, they were given special insight, and even here, we often sense that they too were sometimes 'hard of hearing' & wondered as to the words of Jesus. For one such example, see Mark 8:14-16. But the Blessed Teacher was there to give them Light, drawing them closer to fully understanding Who He was & the purpose of His Coming.

You cannot twist the Word, to suit your perceptions. Revelation 22:18-19

Search Kings, Chronicles, Psalms and you'll not see the name of Jesus. David perceived the promise of the Savior.

Isaiah 6: he SAW the Lord. "Saw" is a vision sent from God. His first thought was of his unclean lips.

He was Hearing from the Godhead: verse 8.

"US". That is all 3 persons together, speaking, what his message was.

He, The Father, sent His Word (Jesus) and Healed (action, the Holy Spirit) them. 'Them' is always humankind.

What you believe is your perception. It's not Scripture. To teach it to babies and lambs is responsibility you do not want to pay. Write a Book. Don't touch the little ones.

Romans 16:17-18 - Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. 2 John 1:9 - Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth NOT in the doctrine of Christ, HATH NOT God. He that ABIDES in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. Romans 16:18 - For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

Further comment: to the body of Christ: you have the responsibility to search out in the Bible Yourself, what is truth and what is Not Truth. Start in Romans.

There are seven references to "roe" in the Songs & all refer to the animal - nothing to do with the fish. A dictionary defines the roe as also being: "A small Eurasian deer which lacks a visible tail and has a reddish summer coat that turns greyish in winter." There are other Old Testament portions that speak of a wild roe & the roebuck. And Songs 8:14 speak of the "roe or young hart", indicating that an animal is spoken of in this Book & I would suggest in all other appearances of the word in the Scriptures.

So when Solomon says "roe" in Song of Solomon... I'm having a difficult time discerning whether he is referring to fish testicles or a southeastern deer. I have prayed for clarity but have not received much yet. Can you help me? I know the israelites were fishermen and they didnt really go to southeast asia for hunting so. fish testicles makes more sense. thank you.

Faith in Gods Word has done this good thing. When we send it out with our faith mixed with it; it does not return to us void.

It tells us that God is on the Throne, Jesus beside Him; making intercession for all of his Saints (us). The Holy Spirit hastens to perform the request. Your faith sets this in motion.

Keep those you love covered in the love of your prayers. God answers them. He's working it out. Don't allow doubts to sneak in between you and Your Lord.

Let us agree and ask the Lord to send angels to protect your brother. To awaken his heart to pursue the Lover of his very soul. Amen.
