Verse 10 has the answer as David was close enough to Saul to cut his clothes and could have just as easily cut off Saul's head and stopped him from trying to kill David. So the cloth that was cut was proof David spared the life of Saul.

Hi Bob, I read Martin Luthers Biography yes he did die in 1546 and I agree with his understanding of Gods Truth that we cant earn our Salvation but we will show we have it as confirmed by Jesus in Matthew 25:31-46 The Changes He made in his Translation were no doubt to confirm what he believed was true but I will check again on the Website that claimed he was wrongly changing Scripture. I have mostly Worshiped in other Protestant Churches so do not know much about his Reformation only that he rejected the Heresy in the Roman Catholic Church which is good, that is why I found it hard to accept he would agree with the Apocrypha it does contridict Gods Truth as we see in Jude about the Angels.

Don't assume Paul is saying sin is justified.

For even the Head Apostle, Peter, said Paul's writings are hard to be understood, as other scriptures, 2 Peter 3:16.

The FIRST thing to note in Verse 1, is that this epistlebwas NOT addressed to everyone in the world, but to the 12 scattered tribes of Israel, scattered all over the world, through SLAVERY(CAPTIVITY). Now THIS SHOULD give you an idea of WHO these ppl are, because the Real Jews/Israelites were taken out of the land, sent off into CAPTIVITY for their sins, as Christ Himself said in Luke 21:24..proving those living in Israel today, CANT be the real Jews..but rather jew-ish!!
This WHY James said "My Brethren" which literally mean "My BROTHERS" because James is also an Israelite!
If u bypass this first 2 verses without acknowledging this, then u would think this epistle was for everyone. Its not!

I definetitly believe God is speaking to our Pastors and I also believe it would that I/WE should take heed to what God is saying and be faithful to also help carry the message out to others as well.... as the sheperd has a resposibility to share Gods love and hope to all who are lost.

Now. There is your answer to your Life. As you age you see your Heavenly Father more and more. The World is mostly Evil. So at the ending you see the Light of Love that has cared for your life here. But you only see darkness if you had lived against God's ways. Unless asking to be forgiving....you will suffer in your evil ways for eternity.

I agree with margaret, yet i know not the intents of the cattle people that wanted to inherit land outside of the jews promised land. god knows best. there could have been negative consequences for the cowboys that made the choice to settle outside of the promised land. i'm sure the land outside of the promised land looked favorable. sometimes the enemy can put that spoke in our wheel, to get it out of balance. i'm not the man of faith for the hour. this just my thought. only god knows!

Psalm 91 is the most comforting book and chapter in the Bible for me. I read it every day and call it "my spiritual One a Day vitamin". I read and recite it everyday along with The Lord's Prayer. Every promise concerning your life is in this passage. When I'm praying with others or feeling in need of strength and comfort myself this is my go to passage. Thank You , Lord JESUS , for this powerful word of comfort and strength let it bring all who read it Your Peace.

Bob are your claiming this Website is in error when it tells us that Martin Luther said; that
the Apocrypha that is books which are not regarded as equal to the Holy Scriptures etc etc. If he was dead how could he have said this, they also mention the Dead Sea Scrolls but they had error too because it was not only those who believed in God that stored their Manuscripes in the Caves. explain Bob if Martin Luther died in 1546 how did he know about the Apocrypha and have you read his German Translation of the Bible, if so you would have seen the contradictions in referance to the KJV. Are you sure Bob you are refering to the same Martin Luther If so please contact Admin.

Thank you Donna, what you Shared from your Heart is very very True. Recently I was in Hospital after two accidents and its been hard for me to get Home Help. Im also being Persecuted again f0or my Faith in our Lord and Saviour which I share and Jesus tells us this will happen when we follow Him.It hurt too being abused by two people I Trusted with my Health needs, one claimed to be Christian yet his actions and beliefs showed he had no true understanding but I was once the same so I'm Praying for both of them. But in all my Suffering and Heartache our Awesome God of Love spread His Wings and shielded me from the power of the evil one to destroy my Faith in His Love and Compassion Ps62:5-12.

No one can say for sure if another person is lost...My brother died from after being burned badly at the age of 42. he had been witnessed to and prayed for many times by me and many others. He came close a time or two, but just couldn't accept Christ. He lived for 3 days in and out of consciousness and couldn't communicate the last two. I pray he ask the Lord to come into his heart....By all accounts he was lost, but Acts 2:21 says, "And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." He couldn't speak to us, but he still could speak to God...It only takes a second to be saved. Remember this when you hear of a lost soul.....

Luke Chapter 22:43 Jesus spoke to one of the thieves on the cross next to him and said, " Verily I say unto thee, to day thou shalt be with me in paradise." this tells me we will be in Heaven immediately after death....Amen!

That is easy Revelation Chapter 6:
9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the SOULS souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

10 And they CRIED cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the Earth.

The souls of those in Christ are in heaven and those martyred in the tribulation cried with a loud voice. Soul sleep in an unbiblical doctrine.

2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

That's a great question. While I don't believe it's explicitly stated in the Bible, my personal belief is that our souls/spirit will be in sleep. Do you know how when you sleep it seems instant when you wake up next? I believe the same is happening to those whose physical bodies have died and they are awaiting Christ's return and judgment. Luke 8:52, Job 14:12, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.

when we die, what happens to our spirit awaiting resurrection? Why do some say he/she is now in heaven, or he/she were lost souls. What happens when we die?

Indeed Christianity has been under attack. Very strangely, the same ideology that attacks Christians seems ok with other religions. What is bad is good for them, and good is now bad. This mentality is mentioned in Titus 1:16, Romans 1:28.

Valarie what Debra and Joshua shared is very True. God tells us in Heb1:5 He has never called His Son an Angel and we are not to Worship them. Jesus our Lord and Saviour The Living Word is One with our Abba Father in Spirit 1John 5:7 and with The Holy Ghost who came to us at Pentecost and who guides us into all Truth bringing Glory to The Father and to Jesus Christ His Son. John16:13-15.
