Hear my prayer, O God is a very powerful prayer for every man that want to over come the wickedness of this world. Lord Jesus bless my marriage and make me a living testimony as I depend on you. Amen
  • Sharon on Lamentations 1 - 7 years ago
Verse 22 said let their wickedness come before thee. They should have said, Lord forgive me and forgive them also. Why blame others for your sins, when the punishment come. When we enjoy the pleasure of sin, we did not place blame, but when we must pay then we place blame on others. Even in punishment God showed mercy, so take the punishment and seek repentance and forgiveness, and return to God.

Adam most likely instructed her of the Forbidden fruit of the Tree of Knowledge, she having been made from him he would have been her superior so he knowing directly would have shared all known things with her as they lived in the Garden. Satan knowing her status would have used that as her weakness.

Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding? The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil. There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
  • Obbie Beal on Matthew 19 - 7 years ago

  • Brianna on Psalms 9 - 7 years ago
David was not immune to facing trials. Davids mentioned God's quality of Justice several times in this chapter. He did not rely on his position as the King of Judah to solve his problems. He trusted in Jehovah God's deep love of justice to correct the wrongs. David mentions that God i s a righteous judge who will not tolerate evil forever. So today, we too may experience troubles. God will help!!!
  • Brianna on Psalms 8 - 7 years ago
Here we have a powerful king of Judah, realizing just how small he is in comparison. In verse 4, we can really see David's humility. This makes me think of today's rulers. When they reach a position of power, they believe they are the center of the universe. They don't recognize there is someone higher than they are. A good ruler will, acknowledge that there is someone higher than him.
  • Brianna on Psalms 7 - 7 years ago
These dirges show the depth of David's relationship with his God, Jehovah. Even as a king, with fearsome warriors at his side, he turned to God to be his rescuer. This shows the need to really cultivate a TRUE relationship with God. Not a superficial one based off emotions, but one based of the convincing truth that God is a savior to his people, and that he will help us if we are obedient.
  • Marlo on Daniel 7 - 7 years ago
The 10 horns of the 4th beast are the 7 heads of Revelation 13, and 17. The little horn is the 8th beast of Revelation 17, the final beast kingdom upon the earth, Antichrist. Hence why front Daniel's vision to John's vision, three of the horns are subdued by this time. Also a bonus point, these horns have advanced to heads Kings in Revelation.

Those who overcome will not have their names blotted out of the book of life ( Rev. 3:5)

The Christian who is in Christ has overcome through his faith in Christ ( 1 John 5:4-5: For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?).
  • Kevin LaMonica on Psalms 69 - 7 years ago
2 Timothy 2:15: Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Psalms 51:11: Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

    Does a Christian ever have to pray this in light of John 14:16? And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

  • Brenda M Dalton - 7 years ago
In my previous comment my grammar was out of whack: First sentence uses incorrect use of the word worth. I said worthless when it should have been worthy. Or......"nothing" should have been "everything" for it to make sense. Thank You
  • Brenda M Dalton on Ecclesiastes 1 - 7 years ago
I think Ecclesiastes is a great reminder, or a teacher if we haven't been there yet, that nothing we do that is not of God will prove to be worthless at the end of our lives. None of it. And the happiness we seek, the emptiness we search to fill can only be found in the will of God. What God wants for us is what we should be discovering for ourselves.
  • Sandy Barwick on Isaiah 43 - 7 years ago
I know we will know our loved ones and other verses tells we will be like Christ and other verses tells me that we will not remember the things of old so what does it mean we will be known as we were known
