I learned Psalm 27 since I was a child. My Grandma introduced it to me and then my Mum reinforced it. It is my go-to Psalm for protection from enemies and strengthens my soul.
Whenever I feel overwhelmed with negativity from others, I meditate on it. It is an extremly powerful Psalms that keeps me centered on Christ and not on the challenges. God has already fought the battle

35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses. (at home, in the streets, jobs, daily we fight with with anger because from the heart we are tempted to not-forgive as direct by Jehovah /GOD. Wow! Wow! Wow!

    7 And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid. (once again we are reminded of another deadly-enemy named fear; this 'fear' is a professional in rendering us ineffective in the work of Jehovah /GOD and our personal daily tasks;

Death is swallowed up in victory.
  • Stevie on Revelation 1 - 7 years ago
Maybe after death we will find ourselves in such a place described here where worship of God is continual day and night, but we must qualify first by our actions here in this world of sin. Here, a remnant is, striving to purify themselves from the utter vulgarity of these times, where to venture at understanding truth is considered fallacy, as people who hold sway have popularized lying
  • Obbie Beal on Matthew 17 - 7 years ago
7:And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid. (be not afraid is brought to our attention many, many, times in the bible by Jehovah / GOD because being in a state of fear causes us to be very ineffective each day of life plus release unbelief into our life, causing us to ineffective to/for our self and the work of GOD.
  • Eric on Proverbs 9 - 7 years ago
I see and hear many talk about the "fear of the Lord" that fewr is actually reverence, or awe. Some say it is dread and real fear. I think they both miss the point. YHWY does not want us to dread or fear Him. In His love for us, He wants us to fear the consequences of the choices we make for sin. Those consequences take us towards eternal damnation, but more importantly, takes us away from Him.
  • Chukwuoke Christian on Mark 1 - 7 years ago

  • EVELENA on Genesis 41 - 7 years ago
I studied this chapter word by word and I was amazed at God's making of a man for the Master's use grooming Joseph from critical care unit ( my modern terminology) to a man used to save all of Egypt. I am amazed at the intelligence of God! The level of God's brilliance. He is amazing.

  • Stanjett on Genesis 8 - 7 years ago
    22
While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. I think the key words here are (While the Earth remaineth) Because we know in the final days that he will make and end to this earth and make a new earth where there will not be any sin or evil thing.
  • Vanessa on Job 8 - 7 years ago
Job was enjoying his self pitying, again he lost everything and groaned about it all, he forgot about the mercy and the love God has for a righteous man, instead of praying for guidance and mercy, he was begging to die, he forgot the love he had for God, we all go through many rough things in our lives but we need to remember God is for us not against us, pray always with a earnest heart
  • Vanessa on Job 6 - 7 years ago
Job thought he sinned against the Father and wished to die, he lost everything, he was being tested and he showed little faith at one point, he felt the spirit had left him, he was cursed. We all feel this at times, we all have trials and tribs, but at the end always keep in faith, and trust in the Lord no matter what, stay strong in the word, and bless God always and thank him for his mercies
  • Stanjett on Genesis 5 - 7 years ago
Methuselh did live the longest (969 years)at that time but who was the next to live longest? It was Methuselhs granddaddy, Jared who only live 7 years less than his grandson.(962 years) Man, they lived a long time back then. I think if my math is right Methuselh was alive at the time of the flood or died in the same year of the flood right before it.
