WOW! WOW! WOW! Verse 14 said: "And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of 'Great Tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb".WOW,WOW,WOW!
  • Pastor Mark V K on Micah 1 - 8 years ago
When the Bible speaks of evil coming from the Lord, as in this place and others, It declares God's activity of bringing great judgment upon people often for their gross sins and rejection of God's covenant and grace. God does not do evil as we sometime equate the word with sin, but his judgments are felt as pain and trouble to sinners and this pain and trouble is called evil.
  • Sister Anne on 2 Thessalonians 3 - 8 years ago
Amen...what informative scripture, it's not la scripture for non-ministers of the Gospel who dont or wont work as too many think it is, it's for those who wear the title and walk in it by the proof of the Gospel in action, laboring for the kingdom. So it's not referring to throwing out family members because they are lazy and you wont feed them anymore. Jesus cares for the hungry, and we must too.
  • A disciple on Leviticus 11 - 8 years ago
Carol; I like what you wrote, and think that is a good interpretation. May I add, that the parted hoof represents being in the world but not of the world; and chewing the cud, living according to the Word. If we are walking a separate and sanctified life, but not according to the Scriptures; it is unclean. So too if we feed on the Word but don't live according to it! We have to be complete in God.
  • A disciple on 1 Timothy 1 - 8 years ago
"..that you might charge some that they teach NO OTHER DOCTRINE...which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith..." This commandment is especially concerning false teaching brought in by stealth among the assemblies of Believers. We have to match doctrine with the nature and Spirit of God according to ALL His Word; and not be drawn away and deviate from what Christ taught.
  • A disciple on 1 Timothy 1 - 8 years ago
"..that you might charge some that they teach NO OTHER DOCTRINE, NEITHER GIVE HEED TO FABLES (myths) and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do." A myth is a well-known story which was made up in the past to explain natural events or to justify religious beliefs or social customs. Jesus Christ is the ONLY SAVIOUR, and no one else instead!
  • Lilian on Psalms 19 - 8 years ago
The Heavens declare the Glory of God and the firmament sheweth his handy work. Jesus the only Jehova my Provider my Savior Shalom
  • Emory Maurice on Psalms 19 - 8 years ago
Truly His is God and there is none like on to Him and Him alone is worthy of our praises for God can't praise Him self but the praises from our mouth
  • Rick Mathis on Psalms 118 - 8 years ago
Did you know? This verse is found at the very center of the Bible. Literally, it is the one central verse in God s word to us! Psalm 118:8. Not coincidental.
  • Smeshque on Romans 6 - 8 years ago
It is not of works lest any man should boast. But, belief leads to obedience. Obedience in loving God with all are being and our neighbor as self. Faith is an active thing. In James 2 you can see how faith without works is dead. It is not enough to just say I believe. One must execute that belief in obedience. If we love HIM we will keep HIS commandments.
  • Smeshque on Psalms 127 - 8 years ago
If we do not build our lives with Christ as our foundation. We will be as the foolish man, whose house got wiped away.
Let us also remember to thank God even for a drink of water, for every next breath, in all things let us give thanks.
  • Carol Dold on Leviticus 11 - 8 years ago
I believe the animals with the DIVIDED hoof - parted hoof are symbolic of Christ. Christ is the Word ( John 1:1). We are to rightly DIVIDE the WORD as outlined in I Timothy 2:15. Just as a lamb is symbolic of Christ ( John 1:29: ....Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world), a calf or ox is symbolic of Christ, a beast of burden that carried weight - Isaiah 53:4 bearing our sins
  • A disciple on Ephesians 2 - 8 years ago
"Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh...That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:" Gentile Believers DO NOT replace Israel, but are joined by faith in Christ. Now it is upon us to have mercy on unbelievers like God had mercy on us.
  • Servant of God on Matthew 4 - 8 years ago
Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand. This is slso what Jonh the Bsptist spoke to begin his ministry. Why not? They grew up together being only 6 months difference in age. Was John the first to baptise? It was never spoken of in the Torah. What did John baptise his followers into? Repentance. To repent is to embsrk on a different path, having seen the error of your way.
  • Nahum on Psalms 121 - 8 years ago
We learned this Psalm in grade school.
  • Todd Brawley on John 1 - 8 years ago
    Good stuff
  • A disciple on 1 Thessalonians 4 - 8 years ago
Ivan; The "7 Years" is a myth, and a misinterpretation. The Word actually never says that. The same goes for the "supposed" three and a half years, with reference to the saying, Time and Times and the dividing of Time. There is not going to be any "pre-tribulation rapture." The transgressors must first come to the full, so that God takes away His restraint and SENDS to them their dilusions.
  • A disciple on 1 Thessalonians 4 - 8 years ago
Donnie Green; The dead in Christ are not only the ones who died before the cross, but who have ever passed away as Saved Christians. The message is simply that God will first raise them up from their graves in the same moment that we the living who remain up to the Day of the LORD are in an instant changed; and we are all caught away in the clouds to meet the Lord, who is coming in the clouds!
  • Bruce on 1 Thessalonians 1 - 8 years ago
Ivan: Tribulation started couple thousand years ago./ All True Believers must go through much Tribulation, before Entering The Kingdom of God. Acts 14:22. / They been Tortured,Burned, Hung on crosses, fed to the animals, Beheaded. On the other side of The Planet it's going on Daily it will get worse right before The Last trumpet sounds. / Revelation 20:15
  • Lillian C on Psalms 2 - 8 years ago
God is Love, He is merciful and compassionate, He is also the Judge of all things. It may seems on the surface that He is doino nothing about the world's current situation but know for sure that He in total control at all times. In His own timing our Lord will manifest His glory and His power - Ps 2 v 4 He that sitters in the heavens shall laugh - the Lord shall have them in derision (scorn)
  • Terry on Romans 12 - 8 years ago
This chapter really reminds us of what a true Christian should be doing. It gives me positive motivation to continue to strive to be perfect.
  • A disciple on Proverbs 28 - 8 years ago
"Whoso walks uprightly shall be saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once. He that tills his land shall have plenty of bread: but he that follows after vain persons shall have poverty enough." Walking and working like a man made in the image of God and after God's own heart, doesn't allow deviation from what is right and good; but cultivates and works to produce by God's Word.
  • Alisa Anderson on Romans 7 - 8 years ago
Casting down every thought and imagination that exalts itself...against the knowledge of Christ will eliminate the urge or temptation to carry out sins desires. Yes we are born of a sinful nature but sin does not have control over a born again child of God...no longer has power over us to obey it...no we no longer submit to sins demands..we are free to resist and live for God. Thank you Jesus!
  • Glenda Freeman on Romans 12 - 8 years ago
We should always choose to bless as oppose to curse. Forgive as oppose to harbor hate.
  • Louis on Isaiah 45 - 8 years ago
Isaiah 45-7 the lord proclaims that he creates good and evil and with that being said, he also created "free will" witch is, "choice". it is therefore in our power to choose, so we can not blame GOD nor anyone else for that matter when the time reckoning is at hand...

  • Geraldine Pinnock on Revelation 7 - 8 years ago
April 10, 2018. Rose Munro, I thank you for the truth. The evil one will come at the 6th trumpet. He will receive many with his deception. To protect the Elect, Christ Jesus has shortened the 7 years to five and a half months. Otherwise, even the Elect would be fooled. It is very wrong. So many families will be brought up by their own family members to the evil one
  • Ivan on 1 Thessalonians 1 - 8 years ago
Gerald. Yes there are more scriptures about Christians going thru the tribulation because most will not be ready to go on the first harvest. No oil in their lamps. He is coming for those who are faithful now and living in holiness, not perfect but mature. The parable of the ten virgins offers a lot of light on this subject. Lord warned that the lukewarm would be spewed out of His mouth.
  • Ivan on 1 Thessalonians 4 - 8 years ago
DW. If you carefully study the type of judgements that are going to take place in the tribulation period you will see there is no escape. Most believers will be beheaded for their testimony. These judgements are directly from God and not the Devil. The faithful believers who take serious the warnings from the Lord, will escape all 7 years. Those lukewarm will stay behind.
