2:24 is this saying that the Jews wasn't sometimes following the law being hypocrites so the gentiles sometimes was not taking God or the Jews seriously. like in the ten commandments do not use Lords name in vain. or am i missing the point?

Word is 100% right! The fairly new teaching of a pre-tribulation rapture is NOT "the sign" of the beginning of the "great tribulation." There are a number of things that must happen, that are plainly told to us from the Lord: a great falling away from the faith, and turning instead to fables and self; the earth filled with violence and utterly corrupt; worldwide hatred and slaughter of Christians.

We were made in God's image so we can reflect the beautiful qualities that Jehovah God has. These qualities include love, justice, wisdom, compassion, kindness, and goodness just to name a few.

DOVES ARE SYMBOLIC OF LOVERS,HUSBAND LOVES YOUR WIVES AS CHRIST LOVE THE CHURCH AND GAVE HIS LIFE FOR IT. REMEMBER THE PRIEST HAD TO WASH 2 DOVES BY RUNNING WATER ( THE JORDAN ) BUT 1 HAD TO BE KILLED AND HIS BLOOD SPRINKLED ON THE LIVING BIRD WHICH IS THE CHURCH.THAT DOVE DESCENDED ON CHRIST.

I think it's wonderful how trusting in the Lord brings you peace and joy.

God separated men into their own languages and countries for their good, to curtail the evil things that they began to imagine under Nimrod at Babel. Eventually this too must give way for the completion of the age.

Charley; good example of someone being afforded the opportunity, but turning back. Jesus loves us and receives us when we come to Him for mercy and salvation. He is willing to "frankly forgive us all" and give us every benefit of trust, despite our ruined nature and utter weakness and inabilities. Yet it is up to us to WANT His Spirit, and to REALLY BE of the truth, over the normal course of life.
