The instructions are that Timothy is to share with people Paul's demeanor, actions, and's were the other accounts that faithful person telling about his ministry, the hardships, miracles, and his change from persecutor to follower of Christ so others not saved could also be saved.
  • Alex on Genesis 1 - 8 years ago
Jesus said John baptised you with water but but i will baptise you with the H.G. and fire Jesus knew that all his disciples had been water baptised but he warns them IF I WASH THEE NOT YOU WILL HAVE NO PART WITH ME Which speaks volumes of a greater INTERNAL baptism OF THE h.g.When God showed Peter that SHEET WITH ALL THE unclean animals THAT WAS THE CHURCH THAT WAS MADE CLEAN BY HIS BLOOD,NOT H2O.
  • Mild Bill on Psalms 8 - 8 years ago
Alex, There is no"ultimate goal"in eternity,no end of "eternity",something we as finite beings have trouble grasping, until we are born again, and even then are limited in understanding. God will be glorified in the sight of all his creation,ad infinitum. Rev.20:10 God casts/destroys Satan in the lake of fire, not we.Study more carefully.May God's mercy be upon you and grace given to you.
  • Alex on John 3 - 8 years ago
About Jn 3/5 jesus said we must be bornagain of the water and the spirit thats simply his WORD the h20 of God Thats y he is saying you are made clean by the WORD signifing that the water of God is his WORD which is SPIRIT, THERE IS ONLY 1 VALID BAPTISM WHICH IS BAPTISM OF THE H.G. When jesus told the woman at the well of living water thats the Word not h20 TH H.G. FELL ON THEM THAT HEARD TH WORD.

PERFECT LOVE CASTS OUT FEAR, FRIEND!
  • Sis. Bonnie on Judges 4 - 8 years ago
I always receive strength from this chapter of Judges in reference to God reveals to us as Women that we too are in the Army of LORD, and that we are strategically positioned in places for the Master's Use. God gets Glory from us man or woman whend we give our will over back to Him. A willing vessel is what God wants us to be. Jael was blessed to be remembered and spoken of throughout generations.

continued verse 20 ...prophecies could not have foreknown the events predicted without supernatural instruction. ) We shouldn't make in of those who are called to speak for god but we should always check their words against the Holy Bible. We are on dangerous ground if we scoff at a person who speaks the truth.
  • Dannielle on 1 Thessalonians 5 - 8 years ago
Verse 20 and 21... Despise not prophesyings. (1. A foretelling; prediction; a declaration of something to come. As God only knows future events with certainty, no being but God or some person informed by him, can utter a real prophecy. The prophecies recorded in Scripture, when fulfilled, afford most convincing evidence of the divine original of the Scriptures

  • Titilayo on Mark 16 - 8 years ago
Like the disciples when we are going thru difficult times we tend to continue in unbelief even when the stone has been rolled away bcos we cannot see beyond the challenge.
  • Zedekiah on Psalms 91 - 8 years ago

13 For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, JEHOVAH', The God of hosts, is his name.

Steve; Thank you for your kind words. I like what you write as well! I do see it differently however about the Catching Away of the Saints, as I read about it in Scripture. The times of the heathen have been officially ruling over the world since the carrying away of Judah and Jerusalem by Babylon; by Israel's forfeiture of the kingdom through the house of David till Christ returns.
  • A disciple on Revelation 6 - 8 years ago
Steve; two or three things suggest that we must be here up to the end. Jesus said, "When you shall see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the Prophet.." and the souls under the Altar were told that the Day of Vengeance would not come UNTIL ALL their brothers and sister who should likewise suffer is fulfilled; and the catching away is at the LAST TRUMPET at the coming of the LORD.
  • A disciple on Psalms 44 - 8 years ago
Dear Robert, Leslie, Carol, Andrew, Lisa, Anita, Alex, Annie, Steve, Bruce, Jeff, Daniel, and ALL WHO LOVE OUR LORD JESUS; I am very blessed by reading what you wrote. I hope this most dreadful and troubled time we are in just now passes quickly; for I am so looking forward to me and my wife meeting and knowing you all! The Lord bless you all and keep you healthy and strong and safe till He comes.

Steve and Jeff (cont.); What can be the most frustrating for those who really want to help and guide the other back to soundness and health in the LORD; is that they tend to build a hard shell like a turtle and hide from every one who wants to talk sensibly to them. Then also you have others scrutinizing YOUR motives and words, instead of rather supporting the rescue efforts of the erring brother.

Steve; You are right with your concerns! I think it is a fairly common trick of the devil, that apparently works very well, to allure a young man by flattering him, when he might be just beginning to understand some truth; by telling him that his superior spirituality and brain capacity has found a methodology for making all Scripture mean only what they "think" they know; making them unteachable.
  • A disciple on Romans 8 - 8 years ago
Jeff; I'm afraid that the hardest ones to reason with are those who have an idea in which they think EVERY Scripture is a coded message locked up to everyone else but them, for they have the key. Unknown to these is the fact obvious to the rest of us, is that they have isolated themselves from all of God's counsel and the whole of His Doctrine. They think that everything means what only they know!
  • A disciple on Mark 9 - 8 years ago
"And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea." The Lord has COMMANDED us to be of one mind and to all speak the same things, all in One Spirit! When we speak about the things of the Lord we must do so in love and for One end; as WE also must be saved, and FIRST give account.
  • A disciple on Psalms 127 - 8 years ago
"Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again." (KJV) "Let burning coals fall upon them, and be they thrown down into the fire; yea, into a wretchedness from which they shall never be able to escape." (Wycliffe Bible) We hardly comprehend the grave danger and the righteous damnation of the ungodly, according to most Holy Eternal GOD!

Disciple no you not understanding the 2 covenants Abraham had 2 sons 1 by bond woman and 1 by a free woman which answers to th 2 covenants that 1st covenant was ordained of God just as Abraham went in to Hagars tent but Ishmael was not the child of promise, its isaac that WAS the promise child answering to the H.G. TH ISRAEL OF GOD THUS THAT OLD COVENANT/HAGAR HAS TO BE CAST OUT NOT AN HEIR. GBU.
  • Miz. Char on Psalms 12 - 8 years ago
I think this verse of scripture helps us every woman, man, girl or boy to realize that as The Lord spoke pure words continues to speak pure words, we should do the the same.
