I think it is a fairly common trick of the devil, that apparently works very well, to allure a young man by flattering him, when he might be just beginning to understand some truth; by telling him that his superior spirituality and brain capacity has found a methodology for making all Scripture mean only what they "think" they know; making them unteachable.

Jeff; I'm afraid that the hardest ones to reason with are those who have an idea in which they think EVERY Scripture is a coded message locked up to everyone else but them, for they have the key. Unknown to these is the fact obvious to the rest of us, is that they have isolated themselves from all of God's counsel and the whole of His Doctrine.
