Christ the 2nd Adam came to redeem the children of the 1st Adam. Sarah didn't replace Hagar; Hagar was a bondwoman and her son a heathen usurper. Sarah and Isaac were the chosen and anointed family of Promise. The shedding of blood of animals was done for pointing to Christ, and accepted for atonement only in that light; it never had power in itself to cleanse the conscience of the worshiper.

Pearl; Honoring our father and mother is one of the Ten Commandments. Jesus condemned the hypocrites for teaching that by one's keep of religious observance he would be exempt from honoring his parents. I believe that Jesus is here referring to Titles, as if any man could be our Supreme Leader, or Master over the other's life and faith; for only our Father in heaven and Christ have those roles.

Baptism is one step closer to getting into heaven the next step is speaking in other tongues wish only god well understands you are baptized with the holy ghost 1Corinthians14 "For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him." also you would have to start living a holy life to take care of your body because it is gods temple. 1Corth619

Joseph made himself known to his brethren the second time they saw him. Jesus will make Himself known to His brethren the whole house of Israel and it will cause their everlasting repentance and conversion, when He comes the second time. The saved of the Nations, the Strangers who join themselves to God's people for the Lord's sake, are still OF THE NATIONS, and ISRAEL IS STILL ISRAEL!
  • Pearl Nicholas on Matthew 23 - 8 years ago
Call no man father yet we all our parents mother and father. Is this wrong? Also in the Catholic church, a priest is called father.
  • Greg ormsbee on John 15 - 8 years ago
I AGREE GOD CHOSE US, NOT ALL ACCEPT IT, AN THE FRUIT THAT WE MAKE IS THROUGH CHRIST IN US BRINING IN TRUE CONVERTS. ALL ARE CALLED FEW CHOSEN, NOT ALL WILL BE SAVED.

This a hard story to to explain but to n good create life food n away to live a good life, but because Satan's evilness drove them away from a wonderful life, the creation n things he s done for a greater life but Satan's has a way of making things real good that we drift away from the goodness of good n ruin our godly living to such evilness n loose out on what we were created to live in paradise

About one losing their salvation which can only be initiated by HIS WORD HIS VOICE ETC.HIS WORD CANNOT RETURN UNTO HIM VOID, IT HAS TO PROSPER IN WHAT IT WAS SENT TO DO ISAIAH 55. Thus one cannot lose their salvation if it has been initiated by his Word ITS ONLY THEM THAT HAVE NOT THAT LOSE WHAT THEY THINK THEY HAVE, BUT UNTO THEM THAT HATH SHALL MORE BE GIVEN. MY WORD CANNOT RETURN UNTO ME VOID

  • A disciple on Amos 4 - 8 years ago
Before God gives us light He first sends conviction of sins by the preaching of the Son of God Jesus Christ dying on the cross for us. In our natural state of mind we are in utter darkness about God and lost as to the meaning of life! I remember how awkward it was to be told to look up this or that verse in the Bible and go to church: none of it ever worked to really bring me to Jesus and save me.
  • A disciple on Lamentations 1 - 8 years ago
"Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by? behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow, which is done unto me, wherewith the LORD hath afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger." Like the women along the way out to the crucifixion weeping and bewailing Jesus, many only see the outrageous disaster of evil that came upon the Lord; but we must see its meaning to us and our children!
  • A disciple on Psalms 127 - 8 years ago
"By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion." Some know sorrow that cannot be assuaged or turned back. For these there is no comfort and time is but a shallow relief. Lamentations 1:12 When the Babylonians had done destroying Jerusalem Jeremiah sat down and wept. Whenever the People of God were dashed in pieces by the heathen there was none that showed pity.
  • Eric on Psalms 37 - 8 years ago
Sometimes it's hard to understand how God views any of us as good men. He looks within to the heart and sees things in us we don't see as easily if at all. Personally I feel like a wretched slime ball unworthy of God's attention let alone his love and guidance in my life. But time and time again faithfully, he proves everlasting. He is always and I mean always he is there. Not with a cruel harsh hand either. It's always with supreme love and kindness. I don't know how close anybody else is to God but I feel really close to him. It's not because of my good works either because I have much sin and shame and error. It's only because of his timeless loving mercy and grace I suppose, not really sure how anybody or any God can be so perfect but mine is. Ours is.

We see replacement theology all thru the bible. 2 nd adam replaces 1st adam, issac replaced ishmael, sarrah replaced hagar, Samuel a child replaced wicked Eli, king david replaced king saul, th new covenant replaces the old covenant, new jerusalem replaces old jerusalem, the blood of christ replaces the blood of animals, LEVITICAL PRIESTHOOD IS REPLACED BY A NEW PRIESTHOOD AFTER MELCHEZEDEC, GBU
  • Alex - 8 years ago
We should be happy with replacement theology,If we hate our old adamic nature we should desire a new nature which is the very essence of Replacement theology A seed replacing our old man with a new man which is christ in you which is the very essence of THE NEW COVENANT Ya gotta realize that all the disciples were JEWS but they all had to be bornagain of an incorruptible seed, no exceptions GBU
  • Alex on Luke 9 - 8 years ago
Jesus says out of the hearts of man proceeds all manner of evil, We need a new heart and a new spirit which is replacement theology, king david a man after Gods own heart was preaching replacement theology when he prayed create in me a new heart n a new spirit, Paul was preaching replacement theology when he said as we have borne the image of the earthy we must also bear the image of th heavenly

    C) "There is therefore now...". But "now" he says. "Now" There is a new law (ie., a new principle). A principle that he refers to as "the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus" (8:2). He continues to say that this "law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made" us "free from the" old "law of sin and death." He then spends the rest of chapter 8 elaborating.

  • Ann johnson on John 3 - 8 years ago
God, through Peter on the day of Pentecost, gives us the instruction to salvation. In Acts 2:37, the people asked, "What must we do?" to be saved Then Peter answers in verse 38, Repent "and" be baptized "everyone" of you in the Name of Jesus Christ not father, son, holy ghost for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Have you obeyed Acts2:37,38?
  • Ron garcia on Hebrews 7 - 8 years ago
It is very interesting what chapter 7 of Hebrews is revealing to us. This chapter is confirming that the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Godhead, became flesh and dwelt among us, who also established the order of Melchisedec priesthood. Jesus was the second of the priesthood of Melchisedec, both God in the flesh. The Holy Spirit also dwells in the hearts of the believers.

(Cont.) Read the Book of Obadiah, and all the places where the enemies of Israel thought that because Israel had sinned and provoked the LORD so badly, that now they were justified in persecuting them and usurping possession of their land. We ought rather to mourn and pray for them, and to better consider ourselves, than to be puffed up against them. Jesus is actually coming again to Jerusalem!
  • Paul on Job 3 - 8 years ago
I've gained insights into how a man who's experiencing great suffering can respond - even if he's godly.
  • Servant on Matthew 5 - 8 years ago
If we can take anything from Matt. . Let it be that Christ is trying to teach us about the Royal Law of love .
  • A disciple on Romans 11 - 8 years ago
For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in. Gentiles who believe in Jesus Christ are not Israel's replacement! The neighboring countries presumed to usurp the holy land when Israel went into captivity. Instead of mourning they rejoiced!
