  • Hector D. on Galatians 1 - 9 years ago
To D. Taylor, first of all Paul which was Saul did not receive his revelation in Arabia. Saul received it on his way to Damascas. Read his conversion in Acts Chap 9. Paul did not go to Jerusalem because of fear of persecution to the church, and he could not stay in Damascas because in 2Cor. 11:32 he had to flee from Aretas the king and that's why he went into Arabia; perhaps to preach the gospel.

  • Breeze on Psalms 13 - 9 years ago
We often grew weary in waiting. We have a lot of sorrow in our heart and we carry the burden. However, David chooses, in spite of his sorrow, to rejoice because the Lord will eventually answer. So should we.

  • Tany on Psalms 1 - 9 years ago
I like the part where it says "And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water" it assures me that whatever I do in His name will always be noticed by HIM and I will surely be blessed at HIS own perfect timing
  • Irene123 on Matthew 8 - 9 years ago
To Carmen - You're on a KJV Bible site; not the Catholic Douay. They are 2 different Bibles - and only one is true; only one is from God.
  • Irene123 - 9 years ago
To Michael - Could you please give ch. and verse for Jesus saying we must be sent to Moses.....?
  • Irene123 on Matthew 3 - 9 years ago
To Michael - Could you please give ch.
  • Irene123 on Luke 4 - 9 years ago
To Bruce - something I forgot - No, satan has no power over GOD'S people, i.e. Job, Paul etc.; He has been given power in this earthly life over sinners - before they are saved. Yes, he is the god of this world.
  • Kylo wilo on Romans 4 - 9 years ago
    good chapter
  • Irene123 on 1 Samuel 18 - 9 years ago
Saul was Israel's 1st king. Not by God's design, but Israel's - REBELLIOUS Israel. God 'allowed' it, but was with Saul only 2 yrs. Sa. 13:1. After Saul's debaucle with the Amalekites God took His anointing from Saul. The blessings thereafter were not for Saul, but for Israel, so they wouldn't be destroyed. God had to wait for David to mature.
  • Irene123 on 1 Samuel 17 - 9 years ago
To Brian k. Miller - There's nothing wrong with researching for things not found in God's word, but if He wants us to know something, i.e. Goliath's father - It will be in His word, as a general rule. Goliath's father isn't pertinent to salvation. Neither Goliath, BUT - his story was - faith in God and not man, i.e. Saul's armor.
  • Sharon on Psalms 16 - 9 years ago
To God the only wise, my Saviour and my king, my Jesus and my All.
  • Irene123 - 9 years ago
Angela cont. - in answers to my prayers for my un-saved husband. My husband has been watching me for 2 1/2 yrs. in my new Christian life. And God decided it was now time for some 'reinforcement'. My illness got Jim to thinking; he wept; not in public and not around me, but I know him. He never th'ot I could do this, 'cause I tried it once before and backslid - for 34 yrs.
  • Gail Barrow on Psalms 91 - 9 years ago
    God is our refuge
  • Irene123 - 9 years ago
To Kimi - Selah; I know it's not conditional to living for God. At a guess I'd say it is similar to - Amen. I've looked it up in a Bible dict., but even they don't know.
  • Irene123 on Psalms 4 - 9 years ago
Matt. 6:7 - We need to 'talk' to Jesus - just as we would talk to our earthly fathers, in a 'conversational' way. It's alright to quote any scripture during a time of prayer, but He needs to hear of our daily needs. He already knows what we need before we ask, but He wants communication with us - just like our own fathers do. Jesus loves us because He is our FATHER.
  • Irene123 on Psalms 9 - 9 years ago
The KJV, not the NEW KJV, is ALL I've ever read. I am 74. The other interpretations (not 'translations) read like worldly novels to me. The new kjv isn't so bad, but it's not the KJV.
  • Irene123 on Psalms 11 - 9 years ago
To Sue M. - Jn. 3:16; "....... that whosoever BELIEVETH in Him ....... "; Jn. 14:15; If we believe in Him (to 'know' there is a God is not the same as believing in Him); to believe in Him is to obey His commandments; if we obey - then we love Him. Along with Hector D. I hope this helps you.
  • BSP on Psalms 13 - 9 years ago
We are so thankful to God for his mercy in dealing with imperfect humans. We can rejoice in his salvation because he gave us the sacrifice of his dear son so that we can be saved from sin and death.
  • Mary v Spencer on Psalms 23 - 9 years ago
    I thank my Lord
  • Matt on Matthew 27 - 9 years ago
It was prophecy that our Savior was to be crucified from the time Eve and Adam were literally and spiritually seduced. God told Satan, "I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; It shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise His heel." He came here to destroy death: the devil. If you believe on Him, you will be saved; but if you don't, you will die in hell.
  • Dianna on Mark 14 - 9 years ago
"She hath done what she could" She anointed Jesus for burial preparation, and they were fussing because the oil could have been sold and the $$ given to the poor- these were the Scribes and Pharisees- hypocrites, they thought it was a waste for her to do such an act. I would like to be remembered by my grandchildren, Maw Maw loved God, she did all she could do. Be an example.
  • Ry on Psalms 46 - 9 years ago
Daud, Don't bother yourself with counting or coding or mixing the world with the perfect, holy, infallible, inspired word of God. Seek the Lord in truth and His truth will be made certain in you. Blessings
  • Dianna on John 1 - 9 years ago
Gen. 1:1- "In the beginning God." Gen. 1:26a- "And God said, Let us make man in our image..." This is the Trinity- God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word" The Bible tells us that in the beginning the Word existed. In ver. 14 it says the Word was made flesh, Jesus came in the form of man, and is the only begotten of the Father. John 3:16
  • Bruce on Revelation 8 - 9 years ago
Signs:And there shall be signs in the sun, moon, and stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity;the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth:for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.Luke21:25-26.Strange looking clouds not so much. Faith: If one could stop all these things you mentioned they still won't get into the kingdom. If They put a end to world hunger, all wars, all sickness, homelessness. They still have no hope.
