Since when has God raptured or "snatched away" any of his children? Noah went through flood. Moses crossed Red Sea. David fought Goliath. Daniel went IN lion's den. The 3 went THROUGH the fiery furnace. Glory to His name not by running. Rather we go through things and Father protects us. Don't want to run away. Want to STAND/FIGHT, why else bother with armor? Candlesticks are present in Trib, v4.

I love vs. 11. It is my life verse. It helps remind me that God will direct me, and that He loves me. Also that He rewards those who follow after him.

I like this passage because it tells us how we should walk in Jesus and where our heart should be in God.

We must be careful to avoid the advice of evil people and not be led by those that have not given their lives to Lord who paid the price for us to have a way to eternal life. It is his example we must follow daily, and not those that seek life and approval of the world.

To Brianna - I really liked that - don't believe everything one hears about God and His Word, but search it out - Jn. 5:39; Acts 17:11. Something else interesting here: Jesus wasn't talking about the N.T. scriptures because they weren't written then; He referred to the O.T. Jesus and salvation are all thru the Old; that's what the old was all about.

The Lord makes it clear He is against those who teach souls to 'fly' in Ezek. ch. 13 v. 18-21. In Noah's day, the flood took away the ungodly. They had intermixed with fallen angels. That was literal; today it is spiritual. Satan's flood of lies will take away those who don't read The Father's Word. The woman left was obedient; the one taken was deceived. The Real Lord comes after Satan.

The incredible potential of nothing - God doesn't see 'nothing' as we see it. For God, nothing is the raw material for everything He created. Why is that important to us? If you feel you are nothing (not prideful, etc.), feel you have nothing to offer God - then you are exactly what God needs to perform a miracle. 'Miracle' equaling - salvation, Acts 2:38.
