  • David H. on Isaiah 7 - 9 years ago
I agree that the words spoken by Isaiah concerning the conception of Christ was not a prophesy. It truly was a sign for King Ahaz. The whole idea was to strengthened his faith.
He was trusting man for something he should have, all along trusted God for.
To here these words concerning a virgin conceiving and believing that God will make that happen, Should have an impacted his faith in God.
  • Stephende on Luke 7 - 9 years ago
As Byron says, here is John in prison unable to all together construe what is happening with his cousin, Jesus, even though he witnessed the holy spirit descend opon him like a dove and heard the voice of God commending Jesus as his son. Faith is hard. It must be hard fought
  • Anne on John 6 - 9 years ago
This chapter reminds us that whatever we give to the Lord, He will multiply it. The twelve baskets of leftovers/crumbs are indicative that when he multiplies that which is given, we receive more that enough. His blessings overflows.
  • Matt on John 9 - 9 years ago
Everyone is born ''blind'', yes. Everyone's memory is stripped of the 'world that was' (2nd Peter ch. 3), so they can decide whether to love God or follow Satan. One-third followed Satan in the first age ( Rev. 12). Not only did our Lord heal this man's flesh eyes, but He opened his spiritual eyes as well. All souls who don't don't overcome the second resurrection will go into hell (Rev. ch.20).
  • Renee Williams on Hebrews 6 - 9 years ago

  • Carla Green on Psalms 100 - 9 years ago
When reading Psalms 100, I can't help but to think of all the many ways I am a continually blessed. It's not a day that goes by that I don't think that if it wasn't for the Lord I couldn't breathe, walk, or talk. It is he that sustains me and not me myself. I thank God for the small things in life and I always try to remember to be thankful for the beautiful trees and flowers.
  • Omologe Eseakpevwe John on 1 Samuel 11 - 9 years ago
When the Holy Spirit influences a man's decisions, great results are achieved. As soon as the Spirit of God came upon Saul, he exhibited holy anger that steered up the people and in turn caused the fear of God to come upon them. Oh, that we will allow the Spirit of God influence us to the extent that His fear will be upon men! Then shall men depart from iniquity because of the fear of God.
  • Omologe Eseakpevwe John on Daniel 6 - 9 years ago
We need the spirit of discernment to know the purpose of every matter brought before us. If the king had discerned the evil motive of the presidents and princes, I would definitely have refused passing the decree. The need of the hour is complete submission to the Holy Spirit so that He can guide us on the path of truth and righteousness. God bless you all in Jesus matchless name.
  • Mac on Jeremiah 12 - 9 years ago
Jesus said "come out of her" the church/government/worldly ways. Jesus said "the wolves (scribes pharisees. rabbis) were creeping into the church. Jesus said " You can not go to the father except thru himself". Jesus did NOT say to go back to these things. The whole purpose of this is because for those who accept
Jesus and follow the commandments of God and do not worship baal will have eternal
  • Bruce on John 2 - 9 years ago
Ethel: There was a large crowd of unbelievers that we're only there because of the miracles. Christ knows the hearts of men. He doesn't need anyone tell him about mans heart. That's why he told those he healed, tell no one, he didn't want large crowds that only believe in miracles. He could not put His trust in these people because of their hearts. Same today: bigger, more, but not my HEART= damned

  • Matt on Matthew 13 - 9 years ago
@ Word, I see that your eyes are wide open. As our Lord said, "Blessed are your eyes". Cain is the son of the devil ( Gen. 3 and 1 John ch. 3 v. 12), and Cain's children, the Kenites, are the tares. Their true identity is revealed in John ch. 8 (v. 44, specifically); Rev. ch. 2 v. 9 and Rev. ch. 3 v. 9. Any of them that refuse to accept The Savior Jesus Christ will be cast into the fire with Satan.

And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.

Where did Cain's wife come from ? Adam and Eve only had two sons before ! Another son after Cain was sent to nod.
  • Paula s on Psalms 91 - 9 years ago
I love psalm 91 and it's great that god is watching over us plus put his angels to change over us , in addition god also want us to know yes things will happen around us but it won't get near us . God is awesome and god use David to remind us in the psalm he will never leave us or forsake us. Also if we pay close attention to psalm 91 all that is required of us is to love him stay bless and pray
  • SFC Richardson on John 16 - 9 years ago
The world tells us that if we hear voices, then we are insane, yet Yeshua tells us we should expect to hear His Voice. In order to hear His Voice, we need to Know His Word intimately. We do not want to hear: "Depart from me, ye wicked, I never Knew you!"
  • Theodore Francis on Psalms 35 - 9 years ago
I believe that the psalm is as relevant today as when uttered by the psalmist. We require the same level of protection from our enemies. It is not for us to take the action necessary against them but for the lord. The lord knows our hearts and situations and so he will take whatever action necessary to protect the just.

2 Yes Christ was there with the father God and did create everything. Man being made in "our" image. And about the "Cross", this is also a creation of Rome. Search out the greek word for Cross and it clearly says "stake or pole"! Other places it says "tree"!

Millstone, Jeshua knew from the start. Many things about Cephas are showing a certain pattern. Yes Jeshua loved him, he loves man no matter what they have done. Paul has also gave indication of who Peter, Cephas or Simon really was.....
