  • Susan melin on 1 John 1 - 9 years ago
I think that every one who believes backsliders can continue in sin with no eternal punishment, should read the entire book of 1 John.
  • WD. Harris,Jr on Hebrews 9 - 9 years ago

The armor of God is righteousness. Once we speak the truth, righteousness, peace and faith. Praying, reading the scriptures for guidance and listening to the Holy Spirit is indeed the whole armor of God. All of these things protect from any evil. What a powerful revelation? If we do what is righteous we will always be safe. Bless the Lord!
  • Word on 2 Thessalonians 2 - 9 years ago
Bruce problem is God hates those who teach the rapture salvation written in Ezekiel 13. Plus the fact Satan comes as antichrist while we are all in the flesh and then at the 7th trump we are all changed. Satan comes acting the role of Christ and the world will bow down to him because a supernatural being can perform supernatural tricks and he says he's God. Instead of Christ deceiving the world.
  • Francine on Daniel 1 - 9 years ago
Some one wanted to know what does it mean by the abomination of desolation stand in the Holy Place. It means that when you see signs such as the antichrist making a peace treaty with Israel and him seated in the Temple as god. Which will be in Jeruzalem. Also speaking against the most high know that it will be a time for God to come for his people. This could be for the tribulation saints
  • Danny on 1 John 1 - 9 years ago
I read this chapter every night before going to bed. It gives me great comfort and allows me to sleep more comfortably. I specifically like 1st John 1: 9. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. What a very comforting thought to know the God of Heaven will listen and forgive us. Praise be to God.
  • Joyce McLean on Psalms 23 - 9 years ago
Jesus is everything to me as the 23rd Psalm says.
  • Irene123 on Job 2 - 9 years ago
I need to correct a statement I made to someone on here - about how long Job was in this situation. I told them to go to Job 2:13, that Job' friends sat with him for a week without speaking. I didn't notice the "without speaking". I assumed the whole episode lasted just a week. One has to be very careful in reading God's word.

  • Irene123 on Job 19 - 9 years ago
    v. 25 - This is a prophecy of the end times. Job was the1st book of the Bible written, therefore it is the oldest existing book in the world. This one verse is just amazing. "My redeemer ......."; That's Jesus.
  • Clyde on Genesis 3 - 9 years ago
how does this account of the serpent(satan) being present in the beginning not be in conflict with satan being cast outside of heaven in Isaiah?
  • Felicia on Hebrews 4 - 9 years ago
Yes the Sabbath is part of the 10 com'ds but the problem is that ever since Adam no man has been able to keep God's Law. Jesus is the only perfect man who could keep the Law of God and so when we receive Jesus the law is fulfilled in us. We must take God's promise and believe that Jesus is our rest. We can be in the presence of God at any time anywhere individually or collectively Jesus has made..
  • Bruce on Revelation 21 - 9 years ago

  • Gordon. on John 3 - 9 years ago
In further responce to John 3:14, He was not only speaking to Israel but to all the world, because the sins of the whole world (our sins) is what he took the place of, ( John 3:16) and was lifted up on the cross for.
  • Felicia on Psalms 92 - 9 years ago
    Verse 1
We give thanks to our parents, leaders, friends and above all to God. If thanksgiving becomes an integral part of our life we find that our attitude changes towards life. It is humbling. We become more positive, gracious and loving. Lord Jesus, it's indeed a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD and to sing praises unto thy name; O most High. Praise be to God. Hallelujah!
  • Librarygal143 on John 3 - 9 years ago

  • Maiilyn on Jeremiah 29 - 9 years ago
God knows everything that we deal with daily. He knows all about about our daily trails and tribulations. This is not His desires for us. He wants us free of bondage. He wants us to have peaceful life. So he has prepared a place for us where no more trails and tribulations exist. In order to gain the thoughts he has for us, we must have faith in Him. He's our only way to a peaceful life.

  • Michael Daugherty on 2 Corinthians 5 - 9 years ago
Jesus Christ gave Himself as a ransom for many. We take communion in remembrance of His death. He paid the ultimate price for the sin of all mankind. We will be judged according to how we judge others. We are to look at ourselves to see if we are in right standing with God. Is our hearts right with Him? God loves us and gave His only begotten Son that we might be saved.
  • Almenia on Psalms 91 - 9 years ago
How awesome and exhilarating is vs 14: Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him. What a mighty God we serve, so holy, compassionate and loving. I love the Lord Jesus Christ Son of God and cannot live without Him. (The LORD God, merciful, gracious, long-suffering, abundant in goodness and truth, forgiving iniquity, transgression, sin. Ex 34: 6b-7b)
  • Rev. Howard Lewis on 1 Samuel 27 - 9 years ago
I think deception is a big part of our lives today. Deceiving the government and our employers in the work place. Even in the church, pretending to be something we are not just to get ahead in life or ahead of someone else.
This deception has cause us to take on the David syndrome of misleading only ourselves into the captives of hell, in which I myself am guilty from my ignorance. Forgive me.....
  • Karen Bernadette Konjib on Genesis 1 - 9 years ago
In Genesis, when GOD separates the light from darkness, HE called the darkness night and light day.The Bible never at one time mention, example Monday GOD created, this, Tuesday GOD created that. The Bible mentioned that on the first day, second, third and so forth. I know night and day so when the darkness fall its time to rest and daylight, its time to work. On the 7th day GOD rests.
  • Bruce on Revelation 11 - 9 years ago
And the dead in Christ shall rise first:Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. Sounds like:up,flyaway, rapture. Even children understand clouds are up in the air. 1Thessalonians4:16-18 (printed before 1880)
  • Bruce on Revelation 7 - 9 years ago
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout with the voice of the Archangel and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. 1Thessalonians 4:16-18
