This verse is my life. No matter what comes my way I know God has my back. There is nothing that can make me doubt my God. He is my all in all. I can depend on him to deliver me out of my trials and tribulations. In doing so I have development in knowing who he is.

  • Rev Franklin Miller on Romans 8 - 9 years ago
8:38, It is true nothing can separate us from the love of God, but we can separate our love from Him because of our sins. Too many "Christians" use this to justify the sin in their lives. I have heard many times from ministers and people, "Once saved--always saved." Jesus loves you enough to hold your hand all the way to Hell's gate and drop you off with tears in His eyes. Sin=death

Waynes comment 6 17"woman not to usurp authority" No one can "usurp" if they are allowed to so by the presbytery. In other words, they have permission to teach or preach as long as they do it by inspiration of the Holy Ghost . Mark 16:15 KJV 15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. There is No gender in God's eyes. "Ye" means ALL. Blessings!

Proverbs 13:3 "Those who guard their lips preserve their lives, but those who speak rashly will come to ruin." MY MY MY! WE MUST ASK OURSELVES HOW MANY TIMES DID WE SPEAK RASHLY AND IT HELP OUR SITUATIONS??? WE ALL ARE GUILTY OF USING OUR DEADLY TONGUE IN A HARSH WAY CAUSE OF FEELINGS GETTING HURT OR HAVING DEEP ROOTED BITTERNESS! James 3:8 "But no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless

I would like to open a discussion about verse 5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
My question is, how do we reconcile this verse with John 3:16? Thanks for your insights.
  • Shatka on Psalms 23 - 9 years ago
As I lay in bed this scripture came to me. As Velle did i couldn't remember it all and i left some out, so i too looked it up. I'm believing God is going to fix my life and heal my family this new year. I am thankful i was lead to thos website. It was a blessing reading everyone's comments.
  • Mark on Job 1 - 9 years ago
God did not create Satan. The bible says in I John 3-8 that the devil sinneth from the beginning. And in John 8-44 that he was a murderer from the beginning. Also, he could not have been in the heaven that is considered the realm of God, if so, then there was sin in heaven! If it is possible for sin to be in heaven, then what do we have to hope for? Remember, the bible speaks of 3 heavens.

    Hopeful, but hindered.'s comment on 12/19/2016, 1:32am...
I have thought about you several times and wanted to comment but I don't know what to say. Addictions are not easy; but I still don't know what to say. I have prayed.
Your message did not tell me much and therefore I can't say much but I do hope that you are having faith but at the same time that you are getting treatment.

  • Hyzette on Romans 13 - 9 years ago
    Hi Maria

Answer to your question loving people does not mean you are saved. When you confess with your mouth that Jesus christ is your Lord and Saviour and make Him boss of your life than only you are saved.

To Tom re: Genesis Chap 1 - This story is written in a style well understood by Hebrew people. First the story is told in general and then retold giving details. All scripture is inspired by the Holy Spirit

Read Rev 12:7-9. Satan was cast out of heaven
  • Ersatzangel on Numbers 11 - 9 years ago
Yes that comment does sound strange. When I read the surrounding verses it seems Moses was frustrated. God provided manna and the people complained that the food was better in Egypt - where they were slaves! Numbers 11:5. In Numbers 11:11-15 Moses vents his frustration. Numbers 11:17 God provides him help. Moses felt burdened like a nursing Mother for these people. He was crying to God for help.

It is simple yet profound...anyone can relate and understand God's teachings in Proverbs. My prodigal son in jail and many inmates are reading and studying the Book each chapter for every day of the month...the word is read daily..along with other studies...praise God!

The earth was void of anything and darkness was over it.The same Spirit of our God which put orderliness in dear earth and filled it with all beauty can do the same with you. Are you troubled, please believe in God and never be shaken
  • Matt - 9 years ago
Think about 'who' it is that rejects The Son. There, you have your spiritual enemy. Their identity is revealed by The Lord Himself in John ch.8 (especially v. 44). The two churches Christ found no fault with know and teach who the enemy is. Those churches, In Revelation, are Smyrna and Philadelphia: the two olive trees and two candlesticks. If you do NOT know who the Kenites are, you will be lost.
  • Matt on 1 John 2 - 9 years ago
"Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also." If you reject Jesus Christ, you reject God. John ch. 1 and 1 John ch. 5 v. 7: Jesus IS THE LIVING WORD OF GOD. In other words: GOD HIMSELF in the flesh.

  • Matt on 1 Thessalonians 4 - 9 years ago
There is NO rapture, period. You will not even find it in scripture. As Paul stated, there is no way to prevent (precede) the dead, because they are with The Lord. All souls return to The Father (Ecc. ch. 12; 2nd Cor. ch. 5) until the great white throne judgment. At the trib. of the antichrist, The Holy Spirit will speak through His election (Rev. ch. 11) then the Real Christ returns: 7th trump.
  • Matt on Revelation 12 - 9 years ago
Satan will open his mouth and claim he is Christ. The flood symbolizes 'flood of lies'. True Christians will be going through the tribulation in Matt. ch. 24. Those who believe they will be raptured will be taken by the flood of lies: "one taken and the other left." The obedient servant waits for the REAL Christ at the 7th trump, which comes AFTER the antichrist's reign (6th trump) in 2nd Thess.
  • Matt on 2 Thessalonians 2 - 9 years ago
@ Word, Amen! Lucifer, aka Satan, the serpent, tree of Knowledge, Assyrian, King of Tyre, the devil, IS the antichrist. Isaiah ch. 14; Ezek. ch. 28; Ezek. ch. 31; 2nd Thess. ch. 2. He will deceive all who do not have the seal of God. Those who believe in the ''fly away doctrine'' will be deceived by Satan. Out of 7 churches in Rev. Christ told all to repent but 2: Smyrna and Philadelphia. Study.
  • Eileen Morrison on Genesis 1 - 9 years ago
Of all the books of the bible Genesis is the most profound because it tells of mankind origin. It doesn't matter if you believe in
God or not its our beginning.
  • Ingrid Frivold-Storli on Isaiah 56 - 9 years ago
    vers 3-5
Runs against the current trend in many churches of how to treat lgbt-people. The eunuchs was the transgenders of the time, and since they got noe chance of bringing forth their own offspring, Isaiah tells quiet clearly what god has in store for those who follow his covenant. No intention read here of pushing them out in the cold.
