I love reading Psalm 91 I do so daily. Along with Psalm 3.. God is Good all the Time, and All The Time God is Good... Amen

The word of God is given for this day. The day of the Lord is not hiden from you .know that it is mercies and of love for you in this day of which God speaks. A sign is given and who has sought it out?

Psalm 27 is a powerful one, the words are inspirational full of strength and vitality. It pretty much sum it all up, it protects, uplift, encourage and taught you to believe and trust there is no impossibilites or limits in trusting in the most high our Lord and Saviour.

The great cloud of witnesses in 12:1 couldn't refer to the faith heroes of chapter 11 since vs 39 says they never saw their promise, or Christ, other than in shadow. I think it refers to the people in Christ's time who saw the resurrection as they did witness it.

Jack blue, I understand from the Scriptures in this chapter that it was a fact that the Jordan river over flowed. That being the worse time of the year for anyone or anything to attempt to cross and that GOD performed another miracle like the parting of the Red Sea should be our focus. And not that the author used form of communication or personification of the Jordan river. Glory be to GOD! Amen.

Only saints can fulfill all these requirements, but I think asking for God's help and knowing we cannot be perfect but we can try to show love to others. If we can see God in each person and do what we can do for them, like we should do for God, then we are trying to fulfill what He requires of us ( Micah 6:8 OT). responds to "Al" and "Nicol"-- I think Psalm 24 may actually have your answer Nicole -ps24:4-, Leviticus is not just for priests, all should approach the LORD with a clean heart and soul. To "Al" might not the gates refer to the eyes, and the everlasting doors to the heart/soul, lift up your gaze and open your heart to the LORD - how's that sound to you?

If a preacher explains the scripture in a language which the hearers cannot understand, the preacher will not edify them. "To speak words that have no meaning to those who hear them, is like speaking into the air. " It is better to use plain and simple language, language which everyone can understand and not foreign tongues or words to explain the scriptures.

We may feel as if God has Forgoten us and left us but this is not true because he takes care of all his creatures. Read psalm 139 on God's complete knowledge and care

Psalm 133, is exactly what the church of Christ Jesus is lacking today..the ministers of God lacks this, the members of church congregation lacks this.God is interested in unity and wants us to be united in love so that his spirit can dwell in the church and in us and families as well..in a place where there is disunity,the spirit of God is far.it was unity that gave birth on penticus day.
