Which is the correct translation...gave them me...or, gave them to me?
So when we read of Jesus' full blown accusatory remarks against these "blind leaders of the blind" ( Matthew 15:14), He did well to describe them as "whited sepulchres", as "vipers", "hypocrites", "blind guides/fools", etc. This was not said by Jesus as snide remarks as to those who opposed Him, but as if speaking to workers from Satan, "children of the Devil" ( John 8:44), who did nothing for the Kingdom of God, but only served Satan, dragging many innocent people with them to hell. If in any group of people, whether in Islam, RC, the cults, etc., where the adherents are bound to their leaders or else face wrath & retribution, ought to be a clear demonstration of the fallacy of such a system & its great departure from the Truth.
So many began to follow Jesus by what they heard & saw of Him ( John 10:40-42), thereby opposing the Pharisaical teachings & no doubt facing their wrath, but also they followed the dictates of their consciences, of what they witnessed & the opening of their eyes by God's Spirit. Christ came to set men free in many more ways than we fully realize.
Another example is that God called the first man and woman Adam which means earth ( Gen 5:3). Adam (male) was the one to name Adam his wife (female) eve. Because they are our foreparents all of humanity is called "earth"...besides read John 10:34-38 and Psalm 82:1-6. Those who are born of God the Psalmist says are gods. Jesus said, "I and the Father are one" ( John 10:30-33; Deuteronomy 6:4; Philippians 2:6).
Jesus also called the church his bride so we are also one with him.
Any title of God is inherited by Christ who is the begotten of the Father ( Psalm 2:7; Hebrews 5:5). Our children refer to us as father and mother although we ourselves call out parents the same...I hope this helps.
"I and my Father are one.(equal)" John 10:30 This is the case scripture makes for the equality of the persons of God, you err.
The Jews understood the claims of Jesus,"because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God." John 10:33 Bob, you diminish God because he does not fit your sin tainted logic, and that is tragic.
Because Jesus was with God
John 1:1
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
John 10:30
"I and my Father are one."
So the Word was God and was with God since the beginning. So Jesus was the one with God and is also God.
Genesis 2:18
"And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him."
Genesis 2:21-23
"And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;"
"And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man."
"And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man."
So MAN was created in the image of God but woman was created as a help meet for man so women were not created in the image of God if that answers anything.
For example, I point out a car to you which is parked kerbside. I tell you, "That's my car". How do you understand me? In the normal way, you will immediately assume that the car belongs to me. But actually it doesn't belong to me, it belongs to a friend, from whom I have loaned it. So which is correct? In a sense, both are correct: the car is mine because I have the key to it & I drive it - so it could be that I own it or I took loan of it - it's still mine to get inside & drive it.
The point I'm making is that whether Jesus is described as 'the Son of God' or 'God's Son' or 'God the Son', can still have the same meaning only if the Scriptures spoken about Him, warrant it. If we didn't have John 1:1-14, John 20:28, Isaiah 9:6, Titus 2:13, Colossians 2:9, Hebrews 1:1-8, John 10:30, 2 Peter 1:1, & others, given to us, then yes, you would be entirely correct to say that Jesus is just a created Being by God, thus to be called His Son.
So the question is not about the accuracy of the term 'God the Son', but rather what do people do with all the other Scriptures that point to Jesus being both the Son of God & God the Son? I have often asked people to exegete John 1:1-14 to me & they have failed to do so. I did see a Christadelphian article on it, & they say "the Word that became flesh was not the incarnate Son but the incarnate Word". Strange! If the Word became flesh & we know of no other human that became one from the Word of God, then it must apply to Jesus Who is God's Word made flesh & dwelt amongst us. I have no problem with this, but those who oppose this doctrine fail to provide an adequate explanation, rather either avoid such Scriptures or apply another interpretation to them to support their belief. Some might be convinced by this - others, reading the Word, remain unconvinced.
Spare me your delusions please .
"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."
There are not 3 gods. He ( God lowered himself a little lower than the angels) read Hebrews all of Hebrews.
He took on the seed of Abraham Hebrews 2:6 Jesus came to die for the lost sheep of the house of Israel. I could say so much on this subject. Speaking of the fallen angels & the devil : 1 Corinthians 2:8
"Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory."
King James Version (KJV)
John chapter 10 ..
No man took his life he lay it down
Jesus IS God..
there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. 17Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. 18No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. 19There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings. 20And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him? 21Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?
If this concept of the 'Trinity' (i.e. God is One but is seen in His Three Beings) is difficult to comprehend & none of us can fully take it in anyway because we don't naturally think or live at that level, then we can use a simple but weak illustration. As you know, we are composed of three aspects to our being: that which is seen (the body) & that which is unseen (the soul & spirit). The body will age & deteriorate, whereas the immaterial part of us doesn't, & is accountable to God & will return to God. Now, if we remove any one of those three parts of us, we cease to be human in the normal acceptance of our being. So too would God be, if any being of His Deity was excluded, i.e. He wouldn't be the God of the Universe & indeed the God of Love & Mercy that He is to us.
So, Jesus in His Divinity as part of the Godhead, is now referred to as the Son of God, by virtue of His Incarnation ( Luke 1:35). He's still God, but now as God the Father's resurrected Son after paying the price of our sins, & seated at the place of power, at God's right Hand. Jesus completed His Work on Earth but His Spirit works on in us.
"And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it."
Genesis 3:24
"So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life."
John 10:10
New International Version
10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full
Gen.6:4
Scriptural Facts:
1. Heavenly or Fallen Angels can not procreate according to biblical scripture. ( Matt. 22:30; Mark 12:25; Luke 20:34)
2. There is no evidence from the dead sea scrolls on gen.6:4 that the Nephilim were the offspring of the sons of God and daughters of men.
3. The Nephilim were present before and after the sons of God and daughters of man had intercourse.
4. Sons of God could mean holy Angels or holy men according to scripture. ( Job 1:6; 2:1), ( Psalm 82:6, Hos. 1:10; John 10:34-38, Matt. 5:9; Luke 3:38; Rom. 8:14)
******************************************
Knowing these facts; we can rule out that the sons of God are angels in gen 6:4 because they procreate.
Therefore, they must be men that had God's favor(Seth's lineage). The daughters of man would be women without God's favor(Cain's lineage). Their offspring would be human.
What are these Nephilim?
Well, they can't be the offspring of the sons of God and daughters of man according to the facts stated above; because the nephilim were present when the sons of God lusted the daughters of man. How could the Nephilim be present when the sons of God first had sex with the daughters on man? Wouldn't they need to be born first?
The interpretation from a root word naphil of Nephilim means fallen ones.
Look at the similarities of seraphim and cherubim. Now look at Nephilim.
Seraphim and Cherubim are Holy Angels.
Doesn't it make since that the Nephilim would be Fallen angels?
The men of renown is another way of referring to famous biblical characters like Adam, seth, Enoch, and Noah.
How did the spies from moses know what the Nephilim looked like or were?
Stories told from generation to generation about them being frightening.
When the spies saw giant men, they were frightened and thought they were the Nephilim.
The Nephilim most likely tempted the sons of God and daughters of man.
The Nephilim were fallen Angels not human. Goliath was a man.
The Holy Spirit is invisible.

The Son is the Word of God, speaks it
The Holy Spirit performs the the spoken Word of God
When we speak the Word of God over an issue or condition in our lives; according to the Known Will of God (the Bible, OT and NT); the Holy Spirit moves to accomplish it.
All three are one; not Separated.

They speak amongst themselves.
Write these scriptures on the inside cover of your Bible now. This subject comes up often. The scriptures are plain enough to be understood.
Debates and arguing theologies according to varying opinions cause confusion. Acts 17 should dispel that.

Each scripture demonstrates all 3 persons speaking together: Father, Word, Holy Spirit.

8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
10 THE Thief (SATAN) cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:
I am (JESUS) come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly.
11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
Comment: the sheep are the human believers that Follow Jesus. Read Psalm 23.
Here's the Problem
1.) John 5:23
That all men should honour the Son, euen as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not e Sonne, honoreth not e Father which hath sent him.
2.) John 10:38
But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.
3.) John 14:13
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son
Here's The True Word:
1.) 1 Peter 1:25 But the word of the Lord endureth for euer: & this is the word which by the Gospel is preached vnto you.
2.) Malachi 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not;
3.) Matthew 4:10 for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
4.) Luke 4:8 Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
At the moment he believed (confessed that Jesus died for him in his place), he was sealed with the Holy Spirit as a down payment of His inheritance.
Nobody can snatch him out of God's hand - not even himself.
John 10:27-29 (LEB): 27My sheep listen to my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. 28And I give them eternal life, and they will never perish forever, and no one will seize them out of my hand. 29My Father, who has given them* to me, is greater than all, and no one can seize them* from the Father's hand.
In our sin nature, we will wander away out from under the Lords protection, but He has promised above not to lose a SINGLE one of us!
Have a blessed day
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. ( 1 John 2:1-2)
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. ( John 3:17)
All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. ( John 6:37-40)
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. ( John 10:9-10)
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. ( Romans 8:1-2)
