    Matthew 22:32-33...7:15; Ezekiel 34:12

    John 10:12, 8

    Luke 15:4-7

    1 Peter 2:5

People are sheep, or a goat. Jesus is THE SHEPHERD. He will know who is what.

There also are wolves in sheep's clothing and ravening wolves.

If the sheep are lost, we need to take them over to 1 John verses 5-10; particularly verse 9. Show them how to get all that mud and stickers out of their wool. Baby Christians need to learn to run to Jesus and pray verse 9. Lay it all out and admit everything. They learn to love clean and Light.

    A new commandment 1 John 2:8-17

1 John 3:10 in this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness, is NOT of God (a goat); neither he that loveth not his brother.

Once I got to carry a "lamb" in intercessory prayer, for weeks. Someone desperately wanting to die. As soon as that person turned to God for help, I was released. If Jesus let's you carry a lamb you will never be the same person. Sheep, lamb, goat?

A person who calls upon the Lord and surrenders their life to Christ, has their sins forgiven, past, present, and future. Paul gave instruction concerning apostasy in 1 Timothy 4:1-5. Paul expressed concern in Acts Chap. 20, for the church, that after he died, grievous wolves (false teachers) would enter in amongst the believers, not sparing the flock. He said men would arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

Paul warns about apostasy, that false teachers would come into the church and deceive many, causing them to depart from the faith. So apostasy means to depart.

In 2 Thess. 2:3, Paul says let no man deceive you by any means, for that day shall not come, (Tribulation period), except there come a falling away first. The term falling away is the word apostasy. In John 10:4-5, Jesus says His sheep know His voice, and they follow Him, and will not follow the voice of a stranger (False teacher/false profit). Therefore, a true believer cannot commit apostasy

(Part 4) John 17:11-12 also shows the keeping power of God. I believe in the permanency of salvation because the bible teaches that God is the one who saves and He does so from out of His mercy. According to Paul, in Ephesians 2:8, grace, faith, and salvation are gifted from God.

John says, in John 1:13, believers "were born, not from blood, nor from the will of the flesh, nor from the will of man, but from God." Therefore, from Scripture, a human being cannot save him/herself.I can't keep myself saved, so I have to trust God's power to keep me. John 10:27-29 is one of the most beautiful pieces of scripture that shows me that I am secure in Christ.

Also, Jude states in his doxology in Verse 24, "But to the one being able to keep you without stumbling and to set you before His glory blameless in exultation." Paul emphasized the keeping power of God's Spirit Ephesians 1:13-14, Ephesians 4:30.

Sorry this is long, but salvation is very important to me. One more post, I promise!

Open your heart! Don't put limits on wisdom or knowledge nor should we limit the simple teachings of the Savior. We, including Jesus, are all spirit children of God the Farther. He is our brother of whom, given the agency to choose, is now reveling in His Devine inheritance! We all are capable by birth right to inherit Kingdom's beyond our comprehension. The Atonement, the beautiful gift of repentance, and our own choices and honored covenants, will determine the degree of glory, We choose our own inheritance, by works recorded in the Lambs Book is Life. The scripture is plain! Believe! James 1:5 will help.

You may already know this, but words that are in italics mean that they were not in the original text. They were added in by the translators. I don't believe there is any extra meaning to that verse.

They had problems back then with people believing in God the Father, but not in the deity of Jesus Christ. We have some of that today.

Jesus said in John 5:23 that all men should honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honors not the Son honors not the Father which has sent Him.

In John Chapter 5, Jesus said that all authority has been conveyed to Him. He is to judge all people. And He is to be honored equal to the Father. Most religions believe in a god, or might even call him father. But they will not believe that Jesus Christ is equal.

Jesus said in John 10:30, about the sheepfold, He said I and my Father are one. You can't have one without the other!

But he that acknowledges the Son has the Father also. Whosoever denies the Son, the same does not have the Father:

John 9: 41 Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth. Jesus performed many many miracles in front of the Pharisee Jews to verify his ministry, including raising the dead and healing the disabled. He gave sight to a man born blind who saw both physically and spiritually who Jesus was and acknowledged him. Even the blind man knew the miracles of Jesus came from above.

Pharisee Jews saw the miracles and instead of believing in the ministry of Jesus, they choose to discredit him claiming his miracles were from the devil. Physically they could see, spiritually they were blind.

John 10:21 Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?

Because the Pharisees had sight they were sinners already

Matthew 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. All men are guilty of this?

I told a little of my testimony to let others know how very present the Holy Spirit is to us during crisis. Ask. He's there. Talk to him. Ask Him to teach you to pray; intercede like Jesus is doing now. A intercessor (I was taught) is one who asks to stand alongside someone, in their place, to fight against satan or to release a blessing into someone else's life. You must know who you are in Jesus Christ before you take on some hell to stand in for someone who may not know they're on satans radar. He steals, kills and destroys. JOHN 10:10
Pray for people who need it. People are hurting now and receptive to let someone pray for them. Answered prayers are your reward. :D

Hello, I'm not sure if you're joking or serious, but in case you actually believe that I will be happy to clarify. Christianity believes in one God, period. There's several Bible references saying this, including 1 Corinthians 8:6, John 10:30, 1 John 5:7-8. Now, let's break down your comments. The 3 dimensions or personalities of God is not 3 gods, the scripture is clear.

Satan as 'god of the world' is a metaphor for satan just as 'prince of power of the air' is a metaphor 2 Corinthians 4:4. You could use the same logical fallacy to claim that satan must be prince then? No.

Jesus is called the 'arm of the Lord' so does that mean he's a literal arm? No.

The Bible is clear = only 1 God.

Every time I ever judged anyone; said it, thought it, sneered, smirked, mumbled, the Holy Spirit reeled me in. I finally got cured. He even made me watch The Shack movie 28 times! I got blissfully delivered.
There is too much judging going on in here. We could be learning the FRUITS of the Holy Spirit. Believe me that unrighteous judgment grieves Him. If you don't feel that, then your conscience may be seared like a strip steak.
These 5 scriptures say don't Judge. Repent. Write them down. Matthew 7:1, Luke 6;37, John 7:24, I Corinthians 4: 3-5. BE MERCIFUL
Now check this one out: Ezekiel 2:21

God is going to personally deal with Israel. Pray. Stop accusing. WWJD God bless you.

Jesus said Matthew 15:24 - But he (Jesus) answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I (Jesus) know them, and they follow me:
Galations 3: 28 - There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
Jeremiah 3:8 - And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away,
and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

the thief "satan" comes to kill and destroy he does not care about the sheep, In Christ we know His voice, we seek Him daily to make our paths straight, He did no blasphemy , He was speaking to the Jews back then referring to the laws, that spoke of His coming and they believed Him not, He would have spoken Blasphemy if he had called them gods because of their pride they denied him. Christ and only Christ could lay down his life for us all, He lay down His life not because He had to, He did it because He loves us, He is our bridegroom, we are His bride, let that Love sink in when you think your alone, He is there, He will never leave you nor forsake you, Just like a husband should be. King James Bible Jesus speaks in John 10:23 - 29:And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch. Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.

"But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you."

But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

The Bible says there's one God and it says God has 3 persons or entities. It sounds like the question is: to what degree is God one and to what degree is God 3 separate entities. That is hard to answer exactly to what degree which is why different churches will emphasize one side or the other. It's not a salvation issue and just a difference in interpretation so in my opinion we not let it divide us should feel united with others who interpret it differently- we will find out in the end. For now all we have are these Bible verses like John 10:30 and more: Link

more than 1 shepherd kept flocks as herds. The porter is the one that controlled the gate, that kept all the herds when they were not in the field. The shepherd comes for His sheep.New sheep can get caught in the middle when its time to leave the herd, and miss leaving with there shepherd. After this happens a few times, the wise sheep learn, they will not get caught without Him. So far now,the shepherd is called the door. It is very important that you know that He is the door. Don't get lost in the herd?Imagine what it would be like getting lost in the darkness of the herd without your shepherd! Christ is the door. Remember the parable of the 10 virgins? John 10: 30 I and my Father are one.

31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.

32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?

33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.

38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

Hello. I don't remember reading "altar call" in the New Testament. I don't remember anyone in the New Testament describing such an experience. We can cry for a variety of reasons, especially when moved by other people around us, so it doesn't necessarily prove anything. It sounds like you were in a pentecostal or charismatic type event.

Romans 10:17 King James Version (KJV)
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

    1 Corinthians 14:32-33

I would not go by any experience or feeling. Read the Word of God by yourself, at home, away from the influence of a venue of possibly dubious biblical authenticity. I would not go back to such a place.

Jesus spoke of that 1 sheep that went astray saying he wd leave the 99 and go out and find that 1 sheep that went astray and my father and that gave them me is greater then all and no man can pluck them out of my Fathers hand. John 10:10: The thief cometh not, but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. The abundant life is a term used to refer to Christian teachings of the Fulness of life. It is not an organization, movement, or a unique doctrine, but the name applied to the teachings and expectations of the groups, and people who follow the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ. He only possesses, and will impart to us His abundant life.

Jesus was quoting Isiaih who first said "ye are gods". We are all pieces of God and came out of God the first time we came to earth. I saw that in Christian Contemplation and Meditation which has been part of Christianity from the very beginning. Martin Luther practiced it and highly recommended it. Many saints, if not all, have practiced it as well as Catholics, Jewish Kabbalists and mystics.
