    Thoughts on a "religious" spirit

Yesterday; I ran into a Mormon-not wearing the usual white shirt; tie and name tag bout out soliciting for a particular service for homes the nature of which isn't important to mention here. After deciding not to have him meet that particular need; I began talking and asked out of the blue when he had a Utah phone number if he was Mormon and apparently he was. Intersting.

I will say that throughout the rest of the discussion about spiritual matters there was a distinct religious spirit that I recognized endemic to that establishment. The particular spirit of course has a demonic source where men's minds are convinced of an alternate afterlife for the "lost" which is still somehow good for these individuals but not in their version of heaven; where "spirit beings" exist and somehow an earthly marriage is supposed to go on forever. I brought up verses on that subject ( Matt. 22:28; etal) as well as others the Lord gave me at the time. I discussed the covenant of marriage which I agree is meant in the Word rather than a "contract" since they do have some concept of a covenant; and was surprised that they can marry someone outside their faith system.

Lest we rest on our laurels that we are safe from such influences; I assure you we are all under a risk of a "religious" spirit taking over. We don't go to church because we are "told to do so" once we are adults (I am assuming someone is not obviously in a cult). To blindly trust those in leadership is at best unwise; and at worst dangerous. This doesn't mean that we are disrespectful or trying to turn over every carpet and look behind every door for problems. It means we don't put heirarchy; tradition or the majority opinion above God given truth which often invokes our conscience that something is amiss. The truth is the flesh is never going to have a desire for spiritual things unless put under subjection. At best we can have emotions as a side effect of godliness.

    Some thoughts on Predestination.

On exploring a subject I have already undertaken in previous postings I will attempt to avoid total redundancy at least so as not to bore everyone and keep looking at different angles which at times seems to be helpful.

In this posting I would like everyone to clear their minds on what they consider free will or Predestination and look at things from the vantage point of 2 Corinthains 4:4; namely that Satan has effectively blinded folks. Let us think for a moment how a totally unbiased person with no preconceptions reacts to doctrinal truths and the spiritual world in general.

First of all we need to assess how baised we are already; not the least of which is the constant barrage of the enemy with the media blitz of all sorts of ungodly filth; and more subtle conditioning through advertising of finding contentment in material things; physical appearance and stature as this world thinks. Logically speaking; if someone can get past this obstacle to rational thought then the need is there to test what they hear against pure logic; which of course can be accomplished with proper apologetics; scripture reading and backed up by the archaelogical and historical data and information in other world literature. If we can also keep peer pressure from creeping in; many would see the strong evidence for scriptural validity.

Mere acknowledgment of course ain't enough. There has to be a real heart change; if not we only become more "religious" and find some sort of tenet or ritual to embrace whether hedonism or atheism or any other religion including Christianity but without power as 2 Timothy 3:5 states.

In all reality many are far too blinded to think impartially; so as Abraham said to the rich man in Hades even if someone came back from the dead they wouldn't believe ( Luke 16:31). And this was addressing those religious leaders who should have believed Moses and the Prophets but sought to kill the Messiah multiple times.

    "Time"

"For the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters." (Rev.14.7)

God does not judge anyone,'but hath committed all judgment unto the Son.' ( Jn 5.22) As his earthly ministry was coming to a close, Jesus referred the day in terms of the hour. " The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified." This was attested from heaven, "Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour./Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.(12.23, 26-27) God decreed the day which was coming to its nadir. This sounds the time as set by the Spirit as evening. It explains the line, "I have both glorified it' meaning his will and fulfilment of it spells glory declared by the heaven. and the phrase following it,' And will glorify again' refers to the throne of glorry which is not Throne of God but hyphenated to man Throne of God and of the Lamb.

This hour of judgment we shall consider exclusively in context of Israel. "When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.." ( Lk. 22.53) Notice it was night. So when Jesus Christ appears next it shall be in his glory. The line, 'And the evening and the morning were the first day" must run the full round for the Son according to the everlasting Covenant.. "When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory."(Mt.25.33) They are cursed for having refused the covenant; Instead they covenanted with darkness so their power came from the devil. They are sons of perdition. God separated light from darkness which is set in terms of weeks. Seventy weeks in Daniel ch.9 refers to Israel, the reprobates: 7x10 The Law of the Spirit judges law of sin and death.

Matthew 21:22 only applied to the Disciples as this was a private conversation prefaced his address to "ye". This means that Jesus does not promise every believer that he will receive the product of their prayers if asked in his name. This is verified in Acts when we see the Apostles conducting many miracles in ways we don't see today.
  • Martym on John 14 - 1 year ago
John 13:13-14 only applied to the Disciples. He was having a private conversation with them and prefaced his address to "ye". This means that Jesus does not promise every believer that he will answer their prayers if asked in his name. We see this played out in Acts where Peter and the others did many miracles that we don't see today. Further proof that this verse only applies to the Disciples is the previous verse, John 13:12 "He that believeth on me"... "He" is referencing others not within earshot of the Disciples with him at the last supper. The rest of the world. Therefore, we all can believe and have everlasting life but do not have full access to the power of having our prayers answered when asked in Jesus name.

Last para requires editing. Please read it as follows

"Confirming the covenant in v.27 is concerning Israel and the treaty was with the devil to which God had specially warned them.(Exod.34.12-16).Jesus faulted who their father: the devil.(Jn.8.44) So holy people and holy city do not concern them. What is historical and what is spiritual can only by separating the scriptural from conjectural and the Spirit has never left loose ends. How misguided Bible teachers have been interpreting, on a set objective to keep Israel whether lie or not, has been swallowed line hook and sinker by believers for centuries. Had they read it with the Spirit and with humility the truth would have saved them the bother. Isa.28.13 But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little,"

    "Seventy weeks"

Before we study Daniel it is worth our while to look at the Book of Ezekiel where the prophet is set as a double for Jesus Christ. Before determining the destruction God commands him to bear the iniquity for the sins of Israel. " For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel./ And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year."(Ezek.4.5-6) . Right side and left side does not mean one after the other but simultaneously as in the Parable of the Goats and Sheep the judgment sets right side for Judah to indicate the Son of man who came according to the testimony of Jacob. "The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver." (Gen.49.10) Forty days (4x10) indicate the Son who became flesh shall determine it. In this context 70 made up of multiples of 7 is according to the Law dispensed by Jesus Christ the beginning and the ending.

One crucial test is the everlasting Covenant which is marked by days and never by weeks."And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men."(Rev.9.15)

Confirming the covenant in v.27 is concerning Israel and the treaty was with the devil to which God had specially warned them.(Exod.34.12-16). So holy people and holy city do not concern them. What is historical and what is spiritual can only by separating the scriptural from conjectural. How misguided Bible teachers has been interpreting has been swallowed line hook and sinker by believers for centuries. Had they read it with the Spirit and with humility the truth would have saved them bother. The Apostle Paul advised that believers in Jesus Christ should avoid contentions and arguments which tend to cause question against true doctrine.

We are instructed to remain in The Gospel of Jesus Christ as He taught and did, and to reject alterations and diverse doctrines that operate outside of the foundation that Jesus began to teach and do.

That which Jesus taught and did, the apostles also continued in, to teach and do as Christ commanded them, beginning at Jerusalem as He commanded them.

we are given also that one, and same, Great Commission by Jesus Christ, and continually reaffirmed throughout the New Testament of Jesus Christ in The Holy Bible.

we are witnesses to all the earth of the one true Gospel of Jesus Christ, that He began and taught, and also did, and His disciples as well followed His commandment at Jerusalem, and continued to the Gentiles, and will be preached to every nation in the earth, at which time shall the end be.

    as it is written.

the one true Gospel of Jesus Christ now, as it was then, and unto the end of the world, to every believer, in every nation of the earth.

nothing has changed but the date.

    "Multiples of Sevens"

Seven is a whole number to indicate Law of the Word working through the entire generations where Law never plays fast and loose not shall cut corners, allowing circumstantial evidence as laws of the nation create legal loopholes. "but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour."(Lev.19.15) This being the case Before the everlasting Covenant comes in force the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters, the same face man holds where light of the knowledge' of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.'The heart is a spiritual place. .God knows who are his and for the same reason He tells Elijah, "Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him."( 1Kgs 19.18) This whole number is reserved on the generation of Jesus Christ. In the rejection of Israel the number does not change. By rejecting the Son they have forfeited the right to be called people of the Law. "for the Lord our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice."(Dan.9.14) Daniel would seek the key to his visions but he was not part of the holy city that he assumes Jerusalem is. "And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end." (Dan.12.9)

In this context what shall we make of,"Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city," Thy people includes all those 144,000 reserved by the Son. For God has spoken and so has the Son in obedience, "For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself."( Jn 5.26). God did not see Daniel as a Jew but as beloved as the double for the Son. "For thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision." The holy people are those are counted in the book of life and of the Lamb. The holy city is New Jerusalem. Seventy weeks illustrate God's purpose from beginning till the end.(Isa.46.9-10)

    Gen.8.8-10 Everlasting Covenant: Sevens

The Word was God sets the Law. The Word was with God sets appropriate emblems, signs so man is created 'after our image ' and after our likeness' can be broken up into two components: flesh and Spirit. Thus first Four days the Covenant is about heaven and the following Three days delineate the body comprising all live forms, blessed because they are all given relevance about the man who is after our likeness. This man thus blessed is Jesus Christ. For the above reason the last Adam makes it clear that Adam was a double for the Son who shall be sent to the world in the fulness of time, So Seven we shall is a whole number against which all other laws are pendent. The devil sins from the beginning for which the Law shall judge him accordingly. It is thus 10 serves as a number for law of sin and death.

Every thing thus named in the kingdom of God holds together in Jesus Christ and it is thus Noah serves as a double for Jesus Christ. As the garden of Eden was a microcosm of the kingdom is the ark of Noah. God willed and Noah built it accordingly. " And Noah did according unto all that the Lord commanded him."(Gen.7.5) Noah sends a raven and a dove. The dove returns , 'But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark,' We read,"And he stayed yet other seven days;." He returns 'in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off."He remains with Noah in the Ark yet for another seven days ." And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more." The last verse evokes the risen Christ sending the Holy Spirit to the world according to the word of God. These series of sevens has a parallel in the seventy weeks mentioned in Daniel ch.9 Seven in multiples of 10 require more space so we shall consider in another post.

    Ali,

I am happy to add Cris and his family to my prayers tonight and in an ongoing way. I do like it when people get back to me about how things are going for those we pray for. So, please check back with me to remind me of how I can continue to pray for this family who are facing such difficulties.

    Jay,

Thanks for the update. I am so happy that your sis was able to be properly treated with surgery when she went to the E.R. yesterday.

I will be praying for her to have speedy and successful recovery. How long will she be in the hospital?

It is always encouraging when we see such outcomes come from our prayer requests. God always works all things for good for those who are His children, but to us, some of the ways He answers our prayers can be difficult with testings and disciplines. But He loves us and always answers our prayers how He sees fit according to His perfect wisdom, power, and grace.

For you sister, she is in God's hands like all of us who believe, and that is the best place to be, truly.

I know you asked for healing for your family, so is there others who are ill or battling health problems? I would love to know so I can continue to pray for you and yours.

    (1 Peter Part 25):

1 Peter 4:17 - For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

For the time is come that judgment must begin, and notice this: (from) the house of God: The word (at) is literally the word from. This is the heart of Peter's letter. It's time that judgment begins from the house of God. In other words, God's judgment starts with us. And from us (the church), it goes out to the world.

Right now, God is dealing with His people because of the sin issue so we suffer and cease from sin through the suffering and hardship. But the non-believer seems to think that he/she can do whatever they want to do. They suffer some of the consequences of their sin, but they don't seem to be dealing with the direct discipline of God that God's people do.

It kind of makes you wonder. But what Peter is saying here is that God's judgment has begun at His house, and from there will reach out. Right now, it's for us, but later on the non-believers are going to be judged.

We are constantly under the discipline of God because He's our Father. But the non-believer, they get to run around all over the place. But their time's coming. The judgment won't be discipline for them. It will be judgment!

The proper perspective is to understand that because we're God's children, because this flesh always and constantly opposes the things of God, God says that as your Father, I've got to discipline that flesh of yours. We're not going to give it the freedom that the non-believers have. And we're going to bring hardship and trial to your life, fiery trials.

So don't think it strange. God's combating rebellion. And He's shaping us, disciplining us, and preparing us to come be with Him. The non-believers, what are they getting prepared for? The lake of fire doesn't take much preparation!

    (1 Peter Part 24):

1 Peter 4:13 - But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

    But rejoice, and the term rejoice means continually rejoice. It's a Present Imperative. As I mentioned before, the word rejoice in Greek is reference to satisfaction. It's not rejoice like happiness, but rejoice as far as satisfied. Be continually satisfied, inasmuch as you are partakers of Christ's sufferings;

You see, we're following in His steps, so suffering in the flesh is common normal life for the believer. The purpose: That, when his glory shall be revealed, you may be glad also with exceeding joy.

1 Peter 4:14 - If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

    Verse 14 is the best example of a word that has a Greek definition and meaning. If you be reproached, that is, be insulted, in the name of Christ, happy are you;

The word happy is MAKARIOS. It means to experience the fullness of something. It was used in the Beatitudes for Jesus when He's making reference to experiencing all the fullness of God comes in the midst of repentance and suffering. But he says for the spirit of glory and of God rests upon you:

The definition of the word is to experience the fullness of something. But then the meaning is right there in the text, for the spirit of glory and of God rests upon you:

You're being insulted for the things of Christ? God's Spirit and His glory is resting upon you. On their part he is evil spoken of, blasphemed, but on your part he is glorified.

    (1 Peter Part 23b):

    1 Peter 4:10 Continued

And then you use it, and you find out that you really don't know how to use it, so you have to develop it and exercise it so that you can be "powerful" within the body of Christ. But it has nothing to do with this verse. In fact, just a bit of a generality, there's only one Greek word used for the giving of something to a believer, and that's the giving (the gift) of the Holy Spirit. That's it!

In 1 Corinthians Chapter 12 when it talks about the gifts of the Spirit, it's talking about the Holy Spirit who has all of these ministries. That word "gifts" has nothing to do with giving us a gift. It is a Greek word that has to do with the expressions of God's grace. They are His expressions. And He expresses God's grace in all of His ministries.

And 1 Corinthians Chapter 12 says believers are given these expressions. The Holy Spirit can minister through you one time this way, and another way a different time. Every time God's Spirit uses us, it's called grace because God's Spirit is doing it. He is the one that has all of these abilities. I have been given Him, but the gifts of the Spirit belong to Him. They are never given to me.

But again, because of our culture, we respond well to someone telling us that we're very special, and that we have a gift and we have to go out and use it. You see, I don't have to deny myself. I can go out and use it on you. But that's not what it means. In these hard times, as everybody has received an expression of God's grace in their life, minister to the other believers as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

Other believers need God's grace right now. That's what he's saying.

    (1 Peter Part 23a):

1 Peter 4:9 - Use hospitality one to another without grudging.

The word hospitality (PHILOXENOI) means the love of strangers. It doesn't mean stranger as in you don't know the person. It's talking about believers who would travel through town either because of the work of the Lord, or they are just traveling, and giving them a place to stay so they wouldn't have to stay at the local inns where all the sin was going on.

And so open up your house to other believers. And do it without grudging. No complaining. Again, suffering creates situations where we have to be open. It causes us to take care of one another. And thirdly, suffering creates service.

1 Peter 4:10 - As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

It says as every man has received the gift, but the word "the" is not in the Greek manuscript. It is not "the gift." Even so minister the same one to another, and again, that's believers, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

Now the word grace in grace of God, CHARIS is the Greek word. Well, the word gift is Charisma. It has a "ma" on the end of it in the Greek. And CHARISMA is grace in action. So, as everyone has received an expression of grace, then minister to one another. There's a need. So let God's grace minister through you in its various ways, which is manifold grace of God means.

Interesting that there's a play on words there, grace and gift. The word gift comes from grace. It is not talking about a person receiving "a gift" from God. And this is where we get off track. There are some that teach that you have the gift and that's your function in the body of Christ. They say that this gift that God has given you, you take it, and you develop it.

    (1 Peter Part 22):

1 Peter 4:8 - And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

Number one, he says and above all things. That means top priority. Have fervent charity among yourselves: And the word charity is the word AGAPE love. The word fervent literally means to stretch out the hand, or to extend out the hand.

So, he's presenting a picture of an active love. In James Chapter 2, James says if somebody comes along and they're hungry and they need clothing, and you say "Well, I'll pray for you," what good is that? Faith without works is a dead faith. So, when its hardships and when there's suffering, have an active extended love, and notice this: among yourselves.

I know some of you in this forum have some knowledge of the Greek, so you will know that the term "among yourselves" is in the Attributive Position. But the focus is supposed to be on fellow believers. Just like Jesus said, people will know you're my disciples by your love for one another.

One of the disturbing things I've seen over the years is church ministries bringing in a few million dollars a year for their projects to reach the uncivilized world. And that's great if that's what the Lord is leading them to do, but I notice that right around the church, there are a lot of people needing help.

But they look beyond that. They look at what looks good on the tote board. And even some people within their church were suffering and going without, and the sensitivity wasn't there. Suffering creates sensitivity. Have an extended love among yourselves, for love shall cover the multitude of sins. That is from Proverbs 12:10.

Why cover a multitude of sins? Because that is what brings division and hardship within the body of Christ. We have to have an active extended love for repentance and restoration of sin. We have to deal with the sin issue in the body of Christ.

End of the Age: Some concluding thoughts.

Rather than go into a lengthy discourse into the whole progression once again of Revelation which no doubt I have assayed to do in postings in the last couple years; I thought the topic at hand discussing what will be the inevitable rise of Antichrist whoever and whenever it comes to fruition as it intersects the end of the church age; and encompasses the judgment beginning at the house of God as our current danger ( 1 Peter 4:17) would be the primary focus.

Some have mentioned the Rapture itself as being a sort of judgment. The issue of whether the Rapture is for all believers or a reward for faithful ones tends to divide; but we can certainly say that some will be jarred to their senses; whether losing a child or infant in that event; or not knowing what happened to the other person. Certainly some will be aware that they missed out and thought they would be going and that could be the ultimate judgment finalizing the church age and forcing those left behind to be "Tribulation saints". In any event martyrdom will be the destiny for the vast majority of those in the Tribulation so to anyone listening don't be left behind. Up until now God has held everything back; the full economic collapse; and the famine and pestilence that will break out killing 1/4 of the earth at that time; likely the after effects of the war in the 2nd Seal Judgment. We need to keep in mind that appears to be before the Mark of the Beast which occurs at some point near the time 1/3 MORE of the earth is killed in the trumpet judgment #6. God says that man will be rarer than the gold of Ophir ( Isaiah 13:12). He says that the dead bodies will be from one corner of the earth to the other ( Jeremiah 25:33). Truly if He had not cut the days short no flesh would be saved ( Matt. 24:22).

Let us be sober minded and vigilant; and not put our hopes in the riches of this world as we can't take it with us. Let us redeem the time left. ( Eph. 5)

    Fulness of God-Covenant-2

"And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed." ( Exod. 3.2)

God had separated Moses before the worlds began and he was a double for his Son. His occupation as a shepherd was by default. By circumstances he was raised in a palace but chose to suffer even as the Son did. "refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;/Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God." Heb.11.23-29) Faith was covenanted to him by one whom it pleased his Father. So fulness of God that Moses demonstrated, that is works, so by faith he forsook Egypt and he became a double for the Son. The burning bush was a token of his election to deliver a nation from bondage to the Promised Land. God created vegetation,-grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind..." (Gen.1.11-12) Significant is that the day marked Three, a command number for the son as well as the Trinity. the fire symbolic of the Holy Spirit, the voice and the sign of the tree represented the Father and the Son. The Trinity was present. Moses served as the body, the double for Christ. As with everlasting Covenant the trees of righteousness shall continue throughout the narrative. In the case of the baptism of Jesus Christ, the Spirit as a dove alighted on the Word become flesh, indicating his ministry since shall lead to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Thus symbols, the dove and the bush for example are interwoven throughout the narrative. What is the purpose"

The everlasting covenant between God and Man requires no other covenants, the truth which Dispensationalists try to deny. "Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth./Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith."(2 Tim.3.7-9)

    Hi Free,

As you correctly said I am in a hurry so consider you are read. English is not my tongue. In an age English as spoken always bear the devil as the driver, so drivel, mis-information and argot to throw in for good measure that conronts me at every turn I don't regret it. So long,

Hello Bennymkje, It's a bit difficult to follow you. That said, I see what you're trying to say. But I have to admit that it seems like you're not a native English speaker either. And that you're in a hurry. You say that all the time. Now if I'm in a hurry, I don't always put my words in the correct order. So ill forgive u. Being old does not necessarily mean that someone has become forgetful and weary of days. For our old age cannot be counted with Abraham and those before us. Even though my heart, body and soul will always long for and come home to Jesus. You are very honest in your writings, and I like that. We are born different, see some like and go around the porridge. Not because they are worse or better than anything else. But the difference makes the diversity. The faithful, those who do not waver in their faith, those who constantly pray, and are intercessors. These have a special task now that we have come to the last hour. They are valuable for all people. You have them here on this web page. Even if you are honest. You do not need to be rude. That is why I think you do not understand the English language very well.

You know in 1 Cor 13 Paul talks about the gifts of the spirit. If we don't have love we have nothing. And that means we don't look down on other believers. We love them! We don't put other believers down, we lift them up. And in any case we must be careful not to grieve the Holy Spirit. Isn't that the Holy Spirit who lives in all who believe in Jesus Christ? Who do you think you're talking to in here? Yes, AI, but mostly human-made sentences. Do you use a translation service like me? Ill needs to make sure and look it over properly. And it may be wrong anyway. Get well soon Bennymkje and be patient, you and i become that wherever the years flow, stay close to the word of God.

    Fullness of God- Covenant

The covenant is everlasting because the Word was with God from the beginning. ( Jn 1.1-2; Ps.119.89)When God sent his Son the word becoming flesh was his Sign. Thus the voice from the heaven in each case testified 'this is my beloved Son.' The voice coming as Jesus arose from water has its significance. Similarly at the mount of transfiguration. These symbols we shall discuss in subsequent posts. The everlasting covenant has seven days with which God blesses whosoever enters into the Fellowship of God with Man. Why seven? It is the Law or the Word. On the day Four the symbols of greater light and lesser light are set up to rule the day and the night. God named both so the fulness of God in Jesus Christ established the day is for fulfilling the will which applies to every believer. " I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work." ( Jn 9.4) The command number Four designates the word of Jesus Christ as part of the Covenant is in force. Jesus himself prepared for 40 days,('And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights,'). The Covenant came in force at even so we have 'And the evening and the morning were the fourth day."(Gen.1.16-19) When God judged Sodom he sent two witnesses (to the Covenant), "And there came two angels to Sodom at even." Significance of this we shall come anon. When Noah sent the dove, "And the dove came in to him in the evening,"God's Will concerning the body of Christ, the church' is thus revealed as being part of the Covenant. "And he stayed yet other seven days."(Gen.8.11-12) Seven tells us that the will of the Father intends Jesus Christ as the Man component of the Covenant. At the holy mount,"and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him."(Mt.17.5) God's judgment on Sodom came "The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar./Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah."

    Luke 16:15

"And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God."

    Exod.3.1-6 "Backside"

"Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb."

What is the significance of the backside? Much in the way the Spirit has worded it. Elliot 's commentary misses it as he says,' to the fertile tract which lay behind the sandy plain stretching from the Sinaitic range to the shore of the Elanitic gulf.. How much is it relevant for our spiritual understanding tan drawing the believers attention to this word used in another context. Moses requests God to show him his glory to which he says,"and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen." (Exod.33.18-25) Glory of God has his face and backparts' This glory is a knowledge shined into our hearts, "the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." The Spirit is leading us to the burning bush that did not consume itself. So leading a flock of sheep to the backside evokes the good shepherd motif. Moses is a double for the Son but as a servant of the house he cannot see the face of God. Moses came the closest to it. "And the Lord spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend"(32.11) but he was testifying what was to come later. "And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after." (Heb.3.5-6) But as a Son over his house the glory is reserved for the church as the transfiguration of Jesus signifies. (Mt.17.1-5) While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him." The Trinity is present in each case. Yet I have been accused of 'you hyper-spiritualize nearly every Scripture and mash together minced pieces of many unrelated Scripture," It merely shows blasphemy freely bandied about by fools. I forgive them.

    A correction:

Please read "The voice from heaven is pointing to the Son the world become flesh"

    as follows

"The voice from heaven is pointing to the Son the word become flesh." The typo makes a lot of difference. My sight is failing but I am coming to the end of my ministry. God blessed me and it was obvious from birth till this day. In material terms I was content and my love for the word has served me well. I have so many ways failed short but God steadied me and set me right so I shall say, Eben-ezer.' My mind is still overflowing "My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer." So I may write as long as grace given to me,

    "What do I believe in"

I believe the fulness of God dwells in Jesus Christ.

The Trinity attested: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:/And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."(Mt.4.16-17) The heavens open is indicative of God the Father. The voice from heaven is pointing to the Son the world become flesh. Heaven is indicative of the voice, which is a sign as well. The invisible God is made visible in the Son coming out of the water. Yet imposter churches would deny the Trinity.

How many churches obey the word spoken by the Son to the true intent? The flesh profits nothing but Spirit is life. In denying the spiritual aspect of the word so many sects make a circus of his life. " It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." What fulness of Christ do the Evangelicals preach? Is Christ divided? Dispensationalism would make the body cut up and diced to account for their faulty doctrines which Calvinists the body as inadequate. Thus goes on their carnal wisdom overworking but denying the truth. It is of them Jesus said, "But there are some of you that believe not." The everlasting Covenant and the Son are two aspects of the holiness of God. The word was with God makes sure the book of life is hyphenated with the book of the Lamb. "And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world." The imposter churches without exception scattered than gathered with him.(Rev.13.8) The folly of binding the strong man of the house is what we have in the prosperity theology etal., "And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father."( Jn 6.63-69)

    Isa.13.12 Tribulation

"I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir." his wide

This man is more precious than gold in a world roiling and seething in their own lies. A man whose heart is upright before God. In Psalm 126 we see it as a home where Christ dwells and it shows the world as well. "Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table." Do we see it or not? Either the children of the pastor ailing under affluenza or scrolling down his grindr acccount for a date. We have seen them catching headlines in the worst possible way. But where did the rot set in? His heart was false to God and also to himself. And the believer mocks those who read the word of God in spirit and in truth. The Christian world is like a bedlam chokeful of heresies and when the two angels who came to Sodom at even had not even concluded their ministry they were breaking doors. "And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door."(Gen.19.1,11) Is it not a similar situation before the day of the Lord commences? For heresies eating into their soul there shall be a famine for the word of God and they will not find it. We have had martyrs who suffered agonies at being flayed alive or quartered. Burnt, or stoned the grace of God neutered their physical pain. But tribulation that shall overwhelm these imposter churches, they have bound the strong man of their house already, quenching the Holy Spirit their blasphemy again it offers no palliative. Thus their folly shall fall over their heads. "Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways./ For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee."(Ps.128.2-4).

Blindness of heresy has overtaken the church since the fall of pagan Rome, and the fire of the day shall determine.
