"That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."
Ephesians 3:6
"That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:"
Romans 11:36
"For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen."

"For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:"
Galatians 3:28-29 There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise.
Romans 10:12
"For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him."

We have a passage from Luke gospel,"And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us./ And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us."
Moses earlier corrected the narrow parochial outlook of Joshua (Num.11.28-29) and Jesus does it now.
"And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off:"(Gen.8.11) Significant is the mention of the evening. The dove is an emblem for the Holy Spirit and it synchronises with the evening when the Covenant took of. What is the significance of this line, 'And the evening and the morning were the first day." (Gen.1.5) Evening and morning were determined and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit rounds off divine Will. The church symbolised by 'the leaf pluckt off' from the tree of righteousness shall lead to the morning "And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more."(8,12). Unlike the raven the dove stayed yet 'other' seven days meaning the return of the day shall be according to the fulfilment of the Law. 'The other' here is in the same sense as 'other seventy disciples' whom Jesus sent.
"There isa river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holyplaceof the tabernacles of the most High." Raven and dove alike."(Ps.46.4)
The church was ever in the mind of God and the firmament serves as a sign. "For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven." Heaven is quite distinct from heavens and the earth. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever.
Thanks for your explanations here. We do agree on some things and disagree on others. At this time, I do not wish to get deep into this discussion as I think such a discussion is best done one on one in person with the Bible in a private study.
I appreciate all that you have highlighted in your posts and will be a help to me as I further study.
Lastly, I do not get most of my understanding from the internet or from church history. I have read and studied Scripture for most of my life without access to either of these relying only on the Bible. So, please, do not be judgmental towards me for finding information online or reading authors of church history. You definitely got your dispensational thinking from sources outside of the Bible. I also have done some research on dispensationalism and the more I read on it the more I do not agree with it. This is not meant as a judgment on you for adhering to it. It is just my stand that I do not agree with it's tenets, way of interpreting the Scriptures within its pre-conceived framework, and the implications it brings upon the Bible that I find erroneous.
"And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption."
Holy Spirit has never been out of circulation for Law of the Spirit made the Fellowship of God with Man an everlasting covenant. Jesus Christ for this reason is tagged as 'forever'. In the message to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God ."(Rev.3.14) The verse Heb.13.8 is pendent on this, a spiritual truth. Psalm 119.89 also confirm the role of heavens, heaven and the earth. When Jesus was sent to the earth he was anointed as Messiah. "Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre./Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows"(Ps.45.6-7).
God breathed into the nostrils of man and made him a living soul into which both heaven and the earth bear witness." But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground."(Gen.2.8) The heart and the belly represents two worlds of the Spirit and of the body. Setting him in a garden planted by God sets out a kingdom of his dear So where the firmament is not merely a face but a sign for the soul of man. Before the outpouring of the Holy Spirit we have several instances that God empowered man for his service. The seventy elders who prophesied were a forerunner of this public event on the day of Pentecost,Those two prophesied Eldad and Medad similarly represent the two witnesses. (Num.11.26-30)The Number 70 attests that the Law of the Spirit validates it. Jesus sends 70 other disciples accordingly. ( Luke 10.1) What about the two? God has a purpose with them as well. We shall see how. In Lk.9.49-50
Part 4.
Darby's thinking was influenced, in part, by the early Church Fathers' rudimentary understandings of God's dealings with people in distinct periods
Justin Martyr: Recognized a period of law under Moses and a period of grace under Christ.
Irenaeus: Believed in a millennial reign of Christ on earth after the Antichrist's reign.
Tertullian: Discussed the different ages of the world, including a future millennium.
However, you cannot settle a debate or gather truth by solely relying on the internet!
There's scripture that should backup your findings and you should understand them.
For example,
Where do you fit the millennium in your doctrine on this topic? This will determine if you take the text seriously or do you spiritualize the text to fit a belief system.
You must have an understanding on the Old Testament and eschatology when considering it.
You have to study scripture and not the history of Christianity.
That's all I will speak on Dispensationalism at this time.
You said you believe that believers can lapse in faith when facing doubt and trials, but being elect, will be wooed back to faith by God and restored to the life of the tree, as the Prodigal Son parable shows us.
Gigi, that has nothing to do with being blinded from the truth!
Once you receive Christ the Spirit of truth is always with you.
Being blinded as Paul mentions, the truth is kept from them!
They can't perceive.
You said you do not believe that every ethnic Jew will be saved, just the remnant, as Paul says.
Gigi Paul didn't say that!
Here's what he said.
For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
And so ALL ISRAEL SHALL BE SAVED: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
Romans 11:25-26
They will be able see!
God bless.
Part 3
As for Dispensationalism.
Do you believe the Old Testament saints were saved? If so, how?
Looking back on the cross? Or was it through their rituals and sacrifices knowingly or unknowingly looking ahead?
Certainly, the Old Testament saints were saved by grace as we were, but they weren't looking back on the cross as we are, nor are we looking ahead and performing rituals and animal sacrifices.
THAT'S ALSO DISPENSATIONALISM!
The difference in how Jews were saved during the time of the law and how people are saved during the time of grace is a key aspect of dispensationalism, a theological system that views history as divided into distinct periods or "dispensations".
Dispensationalists believe that God's interactions with humanity change in each dispensation, leading to different approaches to salvation bot same source.
OLD TESTAMENT
During the time of the law, salvation was still by faith, but it was often understood in terms of obedience to God's commands and keeping the covenant. Works were seen as a manifestation of faith POINTING TOWARDS THE CROSS. and a way to demonstrate one's relationship with God.
NEW TESTAMENT.
Under the dispensation of grace, salvation is still by grace through faith, but the focus shifts from outward obedience to inward transformation by the Holy Spirit. Works are still important, but they are seen as a result of faith, not a means of earning salvation. LOOKING BACK UPON THE CROSS.
I won't detail or discuss the future dispensation here.
See Part 4.
Part 2.
Romans 11:25
Gigi, I believe Israel was "to be" blinded before the ministry of Christ For a lack of a better way to put it.
Here's why.
If Israel would have received Christ, then we would be still under the Levitical priesthood.
There would be no redemption from the curse of the law.
There would be no baptism of the Holy Spirit.
The list goes on. You would have to rewrite every page in the Bible, especially Hebrews!
There would be no rebirth by the death and resurrection of Christ.
The Jews didn't kill Christ! The love of the father to a lost world did!
And that's the WHOLE WORLD!!
John 12:23-24 READS
"And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but FOR THIS CAUSE CAME I UNTO THIS HOUR.
IF THE JEWS WOULD HAVE ACCEPTED CHRIST THIS HOUR WOULD NOT HAVE COME.
This is why I say you should word it the way Paul penned it. It is Paul's Kinsman in the flesh that was blinded. I believe it is easier to understand it worded as such rather than saying he blinded the Jews." Meaning Israel blinded under "THAT" ministry in regards to salvation. in that manner they have been blinded. There's a difference Gigi!
I believe Israel blindness was prophetic but yet preordained. Paul is quoting Isaiah 6:9-10 in Romans.
If you look at any other kind of way, it looks like Israel blindness was a plan B.
See Part 3.
Sorry for my delayed response. Busy work week.
Part 1.
Gigi, I don't know what the population of what the Jews was during the first century, but Historians estimate that the Jewish population within the Roman Empire during Jesus' time (roughly) was between 3 and 6.5 million.
Christianity was treated as a sect from Judaism, and it gradually separated from certain Judaism beliefs.
The church was being persecuted and had services in homes.
Gigi Paul was to take the Gospel to the Gentiles; we're not debating that!
However, that doesn't mean they all became believers.
Yes, Gigi all scripture is written to us but it all don't apply "TO" us.
In our own language we can see clearly the Elect mentioned in 1 Peter 1:2 applies to the scattered Jews mentioned in verse 1.
I don't see how me saying during the time of Peter's letters that the Church was predominantly Jews would cause you to write these 4 pages and then go into the discussion of dispensationalism!!
When examining your posts and quotes such as this one, "
"As to the relation of dispensational doctrine to Peter writing to the diaspora Jews, I do not adhere to the dispensational doctrine that Scripture that us directed to the Jews is not for Gentile Christians. This is not a historic doctrine" .End quote.
"The highlighting of what Peter called them (ELECT!) is what seems to start this debate so let's talk about Israel.
Gigi even if there were only 10 Jews in the Church at that time Peter penned the letter,
It was to those scattered 10 Jews.
See Part 2
24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
This is Daniel 8:23-25.
These passages show; not necessarily in chronological order the initial rise of Antichrist (verse 23 and 25) and perhaps a later stage after the first seal event of how he conquers (verse 24). I often like to get into specifics but this is serious meat scripturally and at this point I don't see the necessity of a detailed analysis of this or any other passages as I intend to deliver hundreds of verses in coming days on the subject so that a complete overview is given. I can certainly into such matters if enough interest in the matter is expressed or any questions.
I discussed Hal Lindsey in an earlier post; and no doubt many others in the arena of Bible Prophecy can be mentioned currying favor and interest in the 1980s and 1990s and making at times predictions that were premature and foolhardy; and those that were dogmatic downright dangerous for suicide cults to use to their own demise. Let me make it perfectly clear here that this isn't about me as some mastermind of prophecy. Each of us in the Body of Christ has to have a vision or as scriptures indicate "the people perish". ( Proverbs 29:18). I am praying that some will find this study edifying; for the subject seems to have waning interest among professing believers in recent years but become more relevant to the world at large. We need to take 2 Peter 3:4-6 seriously; and always be ready.
Death is a common event for all mankind; with the exception of Enoch and Elijah in days of old; and of course the Lord Jesus Himself who bodily resurrected after overcoming death. The quest for immortality no doubt was initiated with the lie of the serpent in the garden after man was given a pronouncement of the death sentence after sinning by disobeying God in the garden eating the forbidden fruit of the "knowledge of good and evil" ( Gen. 2:16-17). This point cannot be overemphasized since spiritual death is implicated; and even those alive without Christ are spiritually dead. Matthew 8:22 states But Jesus said to him, "Follow Me, and allow the dead to bury their own dead."
Nonetheless; unregenerate man cannot accept their actual condition of being dead in sins and trespasses ( Ephesians 2:1) and they certainly don't want to mortify their flesh as Romans 8:13 indicates; because that only comes through the Spirit of God not man's own vain efforts. They therefore focus on the desire to live on forever in their physical bodies; and sadly will eventually accept that which is abhorrent even to natural men at first; technological implants; genetic mutation or more generally selling out to Satan who they believe in vain to be able to deliver on his promises; not to mention actually care about the welfare of an individual.
It is pretty clear that at first; this Antichrist figure will seem like a peaceful individual. He will understand "dark sentences". Let us read Daniel 8:23-25 in entirety: I will have to put this in next post.
On this day in 2025 we look to the future and assess what has come to pass in recent years and decades. There have been multiple attempts at peace in the Middle East since the 1970's since the agreement with Mubarak in 1979; and the infamous "two state solution" which was initiated with the PLO in 1993 but had its roots from the late 1930's; apparently. We certainly see in recent years the "Abraham accords" as a likely predecessor of a final covenant with many ( Daniel 9:27). Overall we have to listen to the admonishment of Habukkuk 2:3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. This shows there is a delay before the initiation of end times events but that it will rapidly transpire once unleashed. This concept also could be observed with this verse in Revelation 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
This of course seems like a contradiction after 2000 years since Christ came and left this world for glory. It is like the adage of waiting for water to boil; or perhaps the one about a frog in slowly heated water. We need to be careful with such admonitions as this For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. ( Luke 21:35).
What are we to make of this? On one hand we realize that the "gates of hell" will not prevail against the church ( Matt. 16:18); but we also know that even the "elect would be deceived if that were possible" ( Matt. 24:24) in the coming time of false prophets; signs and wonders. Since the verse indicates that it isn't ultimately possible for total deception of the elect we have assurance IF we are indeed those He is talking about. The elect will hear His voice and not follow another ( John 10:26-29). We need to make our calling and election sure ( 2 Peter 1:10).
In November 2024 Hal Lindsey passed away at the age of 95. As many of you may know he had published the "Late Great Planet Earth" about 54 years previously in 1970 in his first major publication and likely the most famous. The descriptions of what appeared to be the last generation beginning in 1948 along with other predictions about the Gog Magog war were described.
Since that time we realize that our understanding clearly was wrong about a literal 40 year generation or even 70 to 80 ( Psalm 90:10) coming to pass is errant; since that would make the 2nd Coming be by 2028; and it is already 2025.
I have postulated on the final generation coming immediately after the Psalm 83 event which appears to be Israel's destruction of the immediate neighbors afoot such as the area of Gaza and Palestine in particular and other places indicated in these verses.
A careful study of that passage doesn't indicate dogmatically that an actual war ensues; and given the 10 regions mentioned the concept of the 10 kings that rule for an hour with the Beast ( Rev. 17:12) could indicate that they align with the final Antichrist instead merely delaying this attack until an opportune time where they may align with the overall masses of the world in Armageddon or their armies at that time. As to the second emphasis in the aforementioned book there is no doubt Russia is involved in the end times in Ezekiel 38 but clear also that others; particularly from the area of Turkey and surrounding nations are aligned with them in this battle; particularly of Muslim populations.
The immediate question in light of all this is where are we now? How long will it take from the initiation of a plan for peace; Temple rebuilding; and economic development until the Daniel 9:27 covenant finally takes place? Why should we care-for two reasons; those who are ignorant of scripture and those who claim faith but aren't possessors of the Holy Spirit left behind
Everyone in the Body of Christ has their giftings and calling; but the time comes when the handwriting is on the wall; so to speak.
When mass delusion clearly is setting in and many are falling away and someone comes on the world scene declaring that they are indeed the one to bring about a peace treaty with Israel and other nations it is therefore the Lord Himself who will determine if any individual will succeed in that endeavor or be stopped at some point. We know that the Restrainer is going hold back certain things before the Rapture; but also that the man of sin will be revealed before the Lord comes back and it appears in the context in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 that this may precede the actual Tribulation. Daniel 11:23 states And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people. This verse would seem to indicate with other versions stating an alliance (New Living) or agreement (NIV) that indeed that comes immediately after the Daniel 9:27 covenant. This coming of the Antichrist Beast and False Prophet; of course align with the general false religious system of "Mystery Babylon" covered in detail in Revelation 17-18 as well as much of Jeremiah in particular in the O.T.
Since nothing the Lord does comes without warning from the Prophets ( Amos 3:7) as far as end times are concerned there is certainly a role in that type of "prophetic" ministry today. What we don't have the liberty to do is predict exact days of the Rapture; or events leading up to it. We should keep in mind that the Rapture may occur BEFORE that date whether weeks; months or longer that the Daniel 9:27 covenant is enacted. There is a strong scriptural precedent for the Feast of Trumpets being the time of the "last trump" signaling the Rapture ( 1 Cor. 15:52) but of course supernaturally a trumpet in heaven could sound anytime; not necessarily on a Jewish High Day.
"For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted."
Blessings
I thought about the subject of eschatology; and all relevant passages for the Antichrist in particular and the Tribulation in general which I plan to mention but first off I wanted to cover the idea of why this should be of interest to us at all.
As with any other subject we can either have too little or too much interest or emphasis of such doctrines over any other scriptures. Those who are obsessed with it such as I was when a new believer soon come to realize what Isaiah 33:6 states "And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the Lord is his treasure." We can easily be overwhelmed and loose our mooring if not trusting God in the present day where we are called to the admonition of Luke 19:13 to "occupy" until He comes; and "redeeming the time because the days are evil" ( Eph. 5:16). God's church is still here; albeit compromised as a whole as the Laodicean analogy in Revelation seems to suggest its state will be immediately before the Rapture occurs. On the other hand; those who are not focused on the signs of the times are fairly easy to recognize as they are far too comfortable with their daily patterns of living; often with life's distractions and comforts to hear the alarm bells of the battle coming; because they aren't engaged now in the Ephesians 6 spiritual warfare we are called to do. Still others may think they are going to escape the wrath to come ( 1 Thess. 1:10; etal) but are either not truly saved or so compromised that they don't have the interest to remain in a a life of obedience to the Lord and therefore "smite their fellowservants" when offering meat in due season ( Luke 12:45-46) then his Lord comes at a time they don't expect. Similar admoniutions are in the Gospel of Matthew and Mark. If we aren't careful then we will be swept up with worldly wisdom which seems right to a man but leads to death ( Prov. 14:12).
The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament sheweth his handywork." Jesus Christ declared himself 'being with God from the beginning'. As the Word was with God he could truly say, I and my Father are one. He healed and by his works be brought the kingdom of God to man. "according to the working of his mighty power,/Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places."As a sign to this we have the firmament declaring his handiwork. (Eph.1.19-20; Ps,19.1). It is in the manner he translated us from darkness to light we are empowered to shine as lights in the midst of this crooked and perverse generation. The indwelling Spirit witnesses to us we are stronger than the spirit of disobedience working in the world. If we are allowing Satan to set up his business in the temple which is our body we are quenching the Holy Spirit. For spoiling the house he only needs a cold heart and it is the blasphemy one may do. Instead of gathering fruits of the Spirit we have let Satan hollow us out. Instead of what man has driven out he brings, seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there." This is what blasphemy does. Faith without works scatters fruits.
" Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men." Significant is wherefore and it refers to verses coming before,"And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.:(vv.31-32) Heavens declare the glory refers to the Trinity. The Son says,' I say unto you'. The same verse is repeated and it is from the Father. "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself."( Jn 16.13)
" O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh."
There are only two nations, since God separated light from darkness. The everlasting Covenant gives the Day authority to rule the day. " And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night:"(Gen.1.15,5) God sanctified Day by naming it. It is called the generation of Jesus Christ. It is thus the gospel of St Matthew open.(Mt.1.1) These two lights relate to the Father Son relationship.
In the ch.12 we have several allusions to the conflict between light and darkness. In vv.26-29 this verse,"But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you." What does the kingdom signify? kingdom of light is it not?(v.28) The source of it signifies the true Light. Jesus also warned the danger of placing the light under the bed or a bushel. The beiiever has made it to none effect. It is thus the socalled imposter churches bave vitiated the light in them to none effect. They helped Satan bind the strong man of the house, of whose house are, as we claim often. In vv.29-30 it says,"He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad./Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men." The manner the white Evangelicals use their 'great white hope' to throw the weak vulnerable citizens under the bus, their blasphemy is that they belong to the generation of vipers. Afterall vipers are cannibals by nature and how long shall churches play into the hands of Satan? In the Parable of the Goats and Sheep, "Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me./And these shall go away into everlasting punishment."(Mt.25.45-46)
"How does unclean spirit spoil the house, whether it be man or the church? "Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house." Heresy does it. God sent his word, healed them and delivered them from their destructions. (107.20) It explains why Jesus purchased with his own blood.( Acts 20.28)
"When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none./Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished." The early church thus founded by the blood cleansed us from all blame. Our hearts were swept and garnished with fruits of the Spirit. How do you explain what we see when imposter churches make a circus of His grace, and hype priests have their wardrobe malfunction. When they ought to put of garments of praise they has brand shoes to strut and preen themselves than reveal Christ in them.
When first love is gone it is a signal for unclean spirits. The strong man is like Samson that had a strong opponent to contend with. "And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the LORD was departed from him."(Judg.16.20-21)
No wonder the legion has a number and in Mk 5.6-9
"And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many."
Legion is 6x1000. The devil sins from the beginning but our safety comes from the strong mman who keeps our house clean and garnished is none other than Jesus Christ.
"Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation."
Jesus qualifies this generation as wicked. This assessment from him came after the Pharisees took counsel to destroy Jesus for doing good on a sabbath day. Jesus as the lord of Sabbath was there and yet they imputed his powers as derived from the prince of devils. " But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you." They were all for the sanctity of the temple but they would not accept the Lord of Sabbath. By healing he drove out unclean spirits from man and it is to which Jesus spoke in a parable the manner Beelzebub operates. The prince of the devils is the prince of the power of the air so when the Lord had willed the destruction of the house of Ahab it was a lying spirit who took over. "And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so./Now therefore, behold, the Lord hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, "( 1 Kgs 21.22-23) God uses king of Assyria or king of Babylon as His rod to chastise the nation of Israel. He made the cousel of Ahithophel to none effect. "With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward."(Ps,18.26; 2 Sam.17.23). He was too clever for his own good. In.vv43-45 Jesus refers to dry places (Valley of dry bones)and it is an open valley through which the prince of the power of the air moves. "For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty." These unclean spirits though cast out shall take seven more, 'more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there."(12.44)
In order to understand this we need look at 12.29. How does unclean spirit spoil the house, whether it be man or the church?
Stay focussed, and love the word of God with all your heart, and you shall not go wrong. GBU,
Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. ( Revelation 3:10). Also see the next verse Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
This first verse no doubt could have a primary reference to enduring until the end of the Tribulation; but it also means that we should continue steadfast until the end of our lives on this earth; or the Rapture.
My last posting mentioned those who would think they are doing God a favor by killing us ( John 16:2). We must keep in mind that the first seal of Revelation brings about a false peace; as tied in to the Daniel 9:27 covenant with many. Naturally; the mindset of unregenerate man considers those against peace as being warmongers or traitors to the cause of world unity thence their removal from the world helps to promote the onset of the utopian society envisioned by those of such a mindset. Naturally; there will not only be the concept of a cessation of hostilities by armies fighting one another but that which promotes sin; veiled as free love; PRO deviant lifestyle; and prosperity for all. For such things to come to pass; there must be recognition of all religions; cultures and nations no matter how appalling their dogmas and practices. The surface appeal to whatever god you choose is; as 2 Timothy 3:5 states is a form of godliness denying its power (loosely translated) which is warned will be the doctrine of false teachers in the last days. All the false religions will seemingly have their prophecy of a "savior" come to pass; whether the 12th Imam (Mahdi); Maitreya or whatever false version of Christ one maintains faith in other than the literal Son of God. There will be twisting of Bible scriptures to validate as well.
Given one particular individual seeming to fit the end time Antichrist of late who I will not mention by name it seems fitting to review the scriptural descriptions of the final world leader and prepare ourselves for what is the inevitable end game as described in the Bible.
Introduction: God must judge the church first. ( 1 Peter 4:17). This is through the General Apostacy mentioned in 2 Thessalonians 2:3. We are headed for the final separation of the wheat from the chaff; and that reflects what is said in Matthew 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, "First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn." ' This shows the primary separation before the Rapture of those who formerly professed faith in Christ but who did't LOVE the truth and therefore will believe THE LIE as stated in 2 Thessalonians 11-12 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Consider for a moment those who haven't expressed an interest in Christ or spiritual things. There is no real appeal; at least at this time to such deception therefore there still can be hope. There are; no doubt others of all non Christian backgrounds and faiths that will also follow the deceiver but clearly Christians are targeted in these last days as we read in John 16:2 as to people thinking by killing us they are doing God a favor. That fit into the first century Jewish persecution of Christians by the Jewish establishment; but certainly could also foreshadow those who proclaim Christ and against the false Christ to come who will assist in building the Third Temple as well as bring together many to sign the Daniel 9:27 covenant at the onset of the Tribulation.
We will be viewed as the only ones against world peace.
Be blessed.
"And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years."
God which was the Word sets the standard on the basis of the everlasting Covenant. 12x10 makes up the number where 10 denotes law of sin and death. Why law of si? The reason is given in the preceding verses. The devil who sins from the beginning went on corrupting the world and creating an alternative reality, similar to what we have in our times. The sin is what the imposter churches prop up on ethnic divisions and on the basis of race, colour anti-wokeism. Their hype priests and telethons and celebrity priests of the 80s is a leaf out of vv.4-11. 'the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.' The Law of the Spirit sets the life to which he was solely responsible for which the gospel preached from heaven judged them. We shall take two examples to illustrate how heaven has ensured the Covenant on whatever man did on earth. David was a man after his own heart."But God said unto me, Thou shalt not build an house for my name, because thou hast been a man of war, and hast shed blood."(1 Chron.28.3,7) He named Solomon,"for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father." Solomon was called but he went astray. Free will let Solomon to choose life or death. God forbade them because his Son is the fulfilment of the Law and his House of rest was founded on Zion.(Isa.28.16) "Moreover I will establish his kingdom for ever, if he be constant to do my commandments and my judgments, as at this day." So Solomon's temple would not last long. Earlier Moses volunteered himself as the Mediator, but God had already settled the matter. "Let now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written." (Exod.32,32-34)"Therefore now go, lead the people unto the place of which I have spoken unto thee: behold, mine Angel shall go before thee."
