There is no eternal life in th written word,eternal life in only by the living word, My words are spirit and life.Peter says being bornagain by an incorruptible seed even by the words of God that LIVIETH and abideth for ever ( the living word ) which is spirit and life.IF WE CD BE BORNAGAIN BY READING THE BIBLE JESUS SHED HIS BLOOD IN VAIN AND THE CROSS WAS JUST FOOLISHNESS. There was no other nation as sola scriptura as Israel but Israel stoned almost every prophet and REJECTED th Christ and Jesus was the LIVING WORD THAT THEY REJECTED.Its not about paper and ink but the blood of Jesus th living word of God the stone the builders rejected.The bible is precious and holy we need the bible written word. but there is no eternal life in the bible per se.The bible is not God but the living WORD IS TRULY GOD.His blood in not in the bible th written word but his blood is truly in the living word thats y he says you are made CLEAN by the WORD i have spoken unto you WHICH IS SPIRIT AND LIFE .

Gwynn, you're on very dangerous ground to believe that God created both good & evil. I had an uncle who also said similarly & he believed that since we have good & bad things on Earth & since He is Supreme, that God also created evil. How wrong & foolish he was. God can never be a creator of anything evil. Either God is Good or evil, not both. Can the Devil also share this inconceivable trait? Never, he is altogether evil. How about humans? Some say we can be both good & evil. The Bible teaches us that all of us are inherently evil ( Rom 3:23) (i.e. we all have a sin nature passed down generations from our first parents), that even if we commit the smallest sin, then the whole person is a sinner. ( 1 Cor 5:6 speaks about a little leaven = sin, leaveneth the whole lump). God is Holy. There are many, many references to this, but apostle John gives us a vision of Heaven & sees the heavenly beings cry out "Holy, holy, holy is the LORD God Almighty, which was, is & is to come" ( Rev 4:8).

Blessings on you for asking for prayer. I'm sorry for his loss and how that's affecting him and you. While I'm not a grief counselor per se, I do know you're on the right road by sharing about your burden, instead of bottling it all up inside; now we can all help you by begging God for your situation as both you and your dear one walk the path of grief - he for the loss of his mother, and you for the loss of relationship you used to have with him.

Patricia, if you're referring to the matter in Numbers 12:1 ff, then verses 1 & 2 refer to Aaron's & Miriam's objection to Moses' marriage to an Ethiopian woman & God's prophetic use of their brother Moses, instead of them. Or at least, that they too should be able to give prophecy to the children of Israel. We don't know exactly how this all started or the level of anger & objection they raised against Moses, but it was apparently severe enough for the temporal punishment of Miriam (with leprosy) for her sin. I've always wondered why Aaron wasn't also punished at that time. Maybe because Miriam was the instigator of this sin, as well as Aaron being the High Priest, which position shielded him from God's Anger.

Jesse, I too appreciate your comments here & do always look for them, as from one who correctly divides the Word of God & has an intimate relationship with the Godhead. I know we may never agree on everything - who even does or can? - but what is essential is that His Word & His Love is enriching us daily & we together "press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus". Yes Jesus Christ paid the price on Calvary for us He came to take away the sins of the world that does not mean the world is sinless .it is only those that are washed in His blood are free from sin.

Christians can sin, but the Holy Spirit convicts & repentance must follow; the unbeliever or phony Christian has no such check, repentance or restoration. 6. Can a Christian sin as much as they want? Not possible. A Christian cannot pursue a life of sin: his works (manner of life) are proof of the genuineness of his conversion ( Rom 6; Gal 5:19-26). He can sin at times, hence the instructions & pleas by the Lord & the apostles to new & mature believers to abstain from all appearance of evil; how to deal with temptations; how to find victory. But the believer has to be on guard against Satan ( 1 Pet 5:8) & to "work out (attention to) his own salvation with fear & trembling" ( Phil 2:12). A constant warfare, requiring vigilance, but the believer remains secure in God's Perfect Plan for him.

Adam, I'll only address the 'apparent' errors I make in my comments.

1. Freewill. Yes, all Christians & unsaved have a freewill (to sin). 2. Blasphemy. Not possible for Christians. Blasphemy is the accusation one makes against the Holy Spirit that Jesus' Works are generated from Satan ( Mt 12:24-32). 3. God's non-forgiveness to blasphemers. As above: Christians cannot blaspheme. 4. "Not well thought through". The purpose of my phrase was that God's Plan of Salvation WAS well thought through, but IF His Plan allowed for a (truly) saved person to be lost, then the Work of the Cross has failed in that person's salvation. God's Plan is Perfect, "all that the Father giveth Me shall come to Me...I will in no wise cast out" ( Jn 6:37); "sealed with the Holy Spirit" ( Eph 1:13, 4:30, 2 Cor 1:22). (see next comment).

Your comments appear mystical & your interpretation of the Bible, allegorical. Was this something you learnt, or from personal belief through mental calculations & surmises? If the Bible says ( 2 Pet 3:8) "one day is with the Lord as thousand years, & a thousand years as one day", could not that mean, that in Eternity, time is not measured by Earth's time schedule? That is, one day on Earth could even be a thousand years or more, (or less), in eternity? And to place the sequence of biblical books as representative of days of creation, surely must stretch the intent of Scripture to the point of personal invention & speculation? If, as you say, there is no more sin in the world, even though the evidence is overwhelming, then what do you make of the other Scriptures (e.g. Acts 3:19) that urge a person to "repent & be converted that your sins may be blotted out". Is this Scripture too, and many more, also then mysteriously put aside, or even reinterpreted to fit into your belief?

"But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world."( Galatians 6:14 )

How to understand " by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world." , I am not sure of what I am understanding.

Hebrews 6:19-21 A forunnner is a lil vessel or boat that carried the anchor and dropped it in shallow water so the ship can be firm. We are the big boat Christ is our forunnner that took our hope and anchored us in the holy of holies . When Christ was on the cross and he gave up the ghost of spirit the veil torn . The lord is the way the truth and the life . He anchored our hope hidden in him and only thru him . No matter what storms we face and no matter how rough the waves crash against us we are firm and secure in who we are in him amen.

Rod how do people get saved in the tribulation when the dispensation of Grace is closed?

In Rev. 20:4-5, John sees the souls of Saints who were BEHEADED for refusing the Mark of the Beast during the Great Tribulation. John writes that they will rise and reign with Christ for 1000 years and that this is the FIRST RESURRECTION!

according to John, the beheaded rise in the FIRST resurrection and Paul said those who are alive and remain are not caught up until AFTER resurrection

Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the LAST TRUMP: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

We are changed at the LAST TRUMP and where is this found?

In REVELATION, the LAST BOOK of the Bible there are 7 trumps and the 7th trump is the LAST ONE and is at the end of the tribulation

It is Revelation 2:12,13,14,15; John 8:44 & Isaiah 14:13,14,15 at the crux of our story.

The sons of God are angels .

And the KJVInterpret may show us the corruption of 21st Century "Christianity."

There is but one Interpretation in the KJVBible, which Paul shows us, written afore in the letters of the KJVText. The Interpretation is built upon the telling of the days of the Creation. There is no, "private interpretation;" this is the only interpretation there is! Amen.

Chris: My brain was reworked to street preaching. Much easier than warning Christians. I make a list of people skipping their way to being weeded out as a goat. Then I sit on the floor by my bed and pray for them. I ask the Lord to send workers into the harvest to witness the love of God to them before it's too late. I thank Him for rescuing me and pulling me back with that shepherds pole. Our sinful slip ups help us reach out as a disciple of Jesus. Jesus was humble of heart, on task, merciful and knows what we need. He has never hit me in the face with the Bible. I only see lost people. If our prayer life is rich, the Holy Spirit will help us to think less about judging the sin and "come let us reason together; tho your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow; though they be red as crimson, they shall be as wool. Isaiah 1:18, 43:26, 29:18.

There's a scripture about a full stall (kinda funny) but I view it as a productive prayer life. Jesus is interceding and so should we.

The only way Jesus is able to tell us about the generations is through the ancient stories in the KJVInterpret, as presented by Paul. Scientific concepts such as, "M-Theory," and "Black Holes," they are willingly ignorant of.
