B.Good. If verse 13 were to be interpreted that you cannot loose salvation after you have been sealed, all the warnings that Paul gives in first and second Timothy to believers would be false. We have to look at all verses dealing with subject to reach proper interpretations. Isaiah-28:13. There are many warnings to believers, about enduring to the end. We have a will that God will not take away.
  • Ivan on 2 Timothy 1 - 8 years ago
Julie. Ask the Lord to baptize you with the Holy Spirit and to give you a prayer language. When He does use it daily. Paul said that when you pray in the Spirit, or in tongues, you spirit prays directly to God in mysteries that only God understands. It is the most effective way to pray because the Spirit knows what to pray for always. I have experience this many times and seen many results.
  • Ivan on 1 Timothy 5 - 8 years ago
Jim Excellent advise. I believe contrary to modern opinion that God does want us out of debt so we can more abundantly support the coming revival upon our earth before the Second coming of Christ. Many believers today think that if they have an expensive car or house they are blessed. Unfortunately they don't tell you their monthly payments. Debt is not a blessing.
  • Ivan on 1 Timothy 4 - 8 years ago
If we get grounded on the basic doctrines of the Christian faith as listed in Hebrews-6:1-2. We will not be fooled by any false doctrine. Is said that most believers that have been in Church most of their lives, do not know these basic doctrines. Most do not even know this list exists in the Word.
  • A disciple on Proverbs 28 - 8 years ago
"Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the Lord understand all things." Jesus said that He has many things to say to us, but that we cannot bear them just yet; that is, until we receive the Holy Spirit, who shall show us all things and guide us into all truth. The only one who wants men to stay stupid and uncapable, is the devil, who lusts after the throne of God, and to kill us.
  • A disciple on Revelation 6 - 8 years ago
"And when he had opened the fifth seal I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:" From the first seal is revealed the Antichrist. Under each following seal is both the underlying evil and the results of that evil. The Cains of the earth murdering their brothers, the Abels, is what's at the root of all evil done in the world.
  • Geraldine Cole on Acts 1 - 8 years ago
Praise Jesus speak the Truth always the Truth will Standup and a Lie have to easy on down and hide until the person thinks of another Lie.that is a fact.
  • A disciple on Revelation 8 - 8 years ago
"And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake." The commencement of the "Alarm of War" in heaven, about to sound in its perfection, is on account of all the innocent blood of the righteous witnesses of Jesus shed upon the earth. When that number is full, then the end!
  • A disciple on Revelation 6 - 8 years ago
"..How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?" We may die or be killed for our faith in Jesus, without having yet received the promise of vengeance and righteousness upon those who inhabit the earth, who are guilty of our blood; But God waits for the whole number of us to be complete before He makes an end of the wicked.
  • Pastor Donnie Green on 1 Thessalonians 4 - 8 years ago
Ok I hope to spread light to this subject. The dead in Christ is all those who died prior to the Cross. Since the cross we are absent from the body present with the Lord. However those prior to this was sent to Abraham's Bosom. Those will be called up first and then those whom are alive at the rapture will be called up. This all happens in a flash, but will happen and it is coming soon.

  • Gina on Psalms 109 - 8 years ago
That's really true. Those who fought against us without any good cause shall be dealt with by God. He will fight our battles for us and keep us safe. He will not leave us nor forsake us. Because He lives we are victories over anything that may come our way. And the strong power to connect with HIM is our FAITH. I'm always blessed by Him and with HIM all things are possible.
  • Matylda T on 2 Corinthians 5 - 8 years ago
2 Corinthians is telling that if we are with God (believe and give our hearts to him) in the flesh, then we can be present with him in spirit when we leave the body
  • A disciple on Philippians 1 - 8 years ago
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Now these things are important to us because it has to do with knowing what Spirit we are of both in our relations with other disciples, and with those who don't yet know the Lord, whom we hope to influence well and lead them to Jesus. And what is important about that, is that these are the things in which we shall be appointed our place and the work which God has for us in the world to come in His Everlasting Kingdom. Now we can probably suppose pretty accurately, that men like Moses and Samuel, Noah and Daniel and Job, will without question be the ones appointed to the highest places in the Kingdom along with David and the Prophets and Apostles because of the kind of men they were, as they walked with God in their generations. But of the innumerable multitudes of His Saints in all ages, including the myriads who have been tortured and persecuted and slain for their faith and fidelity to Jesus there is an incalculably unknown area of knowledge, that only that individual and God has by which He will decide and appoint to everyone their name and place with Him.

    Hi Doreen,

I read your desire/interest for 'salvation' and you seem unsure.
Romans 10:19 If we shall confess the Lord Jesus with our mouth and believe in our heart that God had raised Him from the dead, you SHALL be saved.
1st John 5:13 These things I have written unto you that you may KNOW that you have eternal life.

  • Bubba on Daniel 12 - 8 years ago
Once Christ's sacrifice was accepted by God the Father, He - Christ has been our High Priest. He has been sitting as our - man's - Intercessor. Christ has been petitioning for us to God the Father.

"At that time" is when Christ stands up and takes on His new role as Judge and Judgement is going to begin.
  • Norm on John 20 - 8 years ago
John chapter 20 happened before the day of Pentecost. Pentecost meaning 50th.
Clouds are an obstruction of vision. The veil was a form of obstruction of vision. All the host of heaven were created at a different time, than Adam and Eve. The host of heaven God brought them into play as needed. Jesus would say to them I knew you from the beginning.

Day 99 of Bible in a Year Reading. More history, more sorrow and wicked leadership. God uses his prophets to warn and wonder those around him. Great time reading.
  • SERVANT on Luke 9 - 8 years ago
In the days of Moses, God spoke to the people through thr prophet, for the people had witnessed His awesome power swallowing up an entire army. They were happy to hear the Word from Moses, as he was faithful and careful not to impart any but the truth he heard directly from the Father. Yet they were an stubborn anf froward people, missing the modest living they had in Egypt. God tries us, daily
  • Jacob on Proverbs 27 - 8 years ago
"Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he that waiteth on his master shall be honoured" LORD give me grace to wait on you through life that I may be honoured in your kingdom eternally.
  • Ambassdor Lawrence on Psalms 23 - 8 years ago
This psalm is all we will experience as we learn the voice of our Lord and if we obey his voice we will never depart from the church whither the pastor, teacher, singer, saint, or pillar to the church. So serve in the soul winning fields of good ground.
  • Larry on Matthew 17 - 8 years ago
In verses 10 through13 we're told of the importance of John the Baptist to Jesus. Elijah was to proceed him. But according to Malachi 4 he wasn't supposed to die. And in doing so triggered a curse. And in Hosea 6 we're told Israel was to face a long term Leviticus 26 curse. These 3 sections of the bible are at the root of the fig tree parables. A winter for Israel followed by the fig tree leafs.
  • Larry on Hosea 6 - 8 years ago
Hosea 6-2 is a part of the day of Jezreel prophecy from Hosea 1. In fact it seems the entire book of Hosea is just a part of that prophecy. A top level Leviticus curse to last 2000 years followed by the 1000 year "day of Jezreel". But what triggered it? Per Matthew 17 and Malachi 4 I think the event was the death of John the Baptist. Elijah according to Jesus Christ. His death triggered the curse.
  • A dsiciple on Psalms 7 - 8 years ago
"The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me." According to some forms of religion the offering of Cain or the prayer of the Pharisee would be nothing even to question. The world is filled with people who want to be productive and responsible and have made a way for making themselves righteous by some imagined moral superiority over others. But God searches the innermost self and the thoughts and intents of all our hearts, without respect of persons. It is to Him and to the cause of His Anointed, our Saviour Jesus, that we are evaluated and nothing else instead will move Him to favor or preference.
  • A disciple on Luke 8 - 8 years ago
Steve Morrow and all; What kind of nature or disposition does the Spirit descend upon and stay, a Lamb, or a Tiger? Do you think that the Scriptures or for our salvation and comfort, but not also for light to expose and correction, in order for us to really and truly overcome all the tests and tribulations of life? Judge righteous judgment, and cease this envying and bitterness; or He will depart.
  • A disciple on Hebrews 5 - 8 years ago
What did Jesus ever do to provoke the hypocrites? He exposed their hypocrisy! And why not even from out of yourselves, do you not judge what is right? If you're about to be hauled before the Judge, don't you want to do everything to cooperate and seek lenience? Or when He has frankly forgiven you everything, BECAUSE you had nothing to pay; do you look for some fellow servant to take by the throat?
  • A disciple on Genesis 20 - 8 years ago
"And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What sawest thou, that thou hast done this thing? And Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of God is not in this place; and they will slay me for my wife's sake." Therefore one more great reason for us to be "More ready to hear, than to give the answer of fools." We are to be perfect toward all as our Father in heaven, and let God look on the hearts.
