Obedience to God's instructions is the key to succeed in leadership. We are to lead people from where they are, to where God has prepared for them.
  • A disciple on Matthew 10 - 8 years ago
Jesus was sent to the children of Israel because God so loved Israel, and sought to save them. The Light shines upon men's innermost self and exposes the evil, in order for us to bring these things to judgment and be reconciled to God. But not everyone has an interest or need for these good things that Jesus brings; and so what was intended to be the blessing of reconciliation becomes contention.
  • A disciple on Matthew 10 - 8 years ago
For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. Variance is described as, the fact or state of being in disagreement: dissension, dispute. This is what the LORD meant in Leviticus 20:26, saying, that He had severed us from other people to be His.

7th trump Christ will see those who waited, those who didn't get mislead with the rest of the world and all their churches and he will see those who made the stand and were delivered up because they would not bow down to a false god, Satan. When you hear them as they are delivered up listen to those who made the stand because it is the Holy Spirit speaking through them. Think, Listen!
  • Word on 2 Thessalonians 2 - 8 years ago
There will be a falling away first, 6th trump, when the false messiah comes and the world and all the fake preachers who claim that Christ has returned and Satan with his power can bring down lighting and other such things standing in Jerusalem claiming he is God he takes over the world with a one world system and the losers will say Jesus has returned we are not a widow no longer. • Paul Denny on Ephesians 5 - 8 years ago
I believe your question is sincere! The world were framed by the words of God. What we say can have a constructive or destructive results. There is nothing wrong in writing, you just have to make sure your narrative reflect a positive result. Always let God lead you in everything you do. Ask yourself this question, is what I write about please God. Read Proverbs 18:21. Hope this answer helps.

  • Patti on Psalms 91 - 8 years ago
Psalm 91 truly identifies my devotion to Jesus. When I read about school shootings, terrorist attacks, etc., I am most affected by environmental destruction, animal, and children tragedies. Bless them dear Lord, send your mighty angels to protect them from harm. Amen.
  • Servant of God on Matthew 10 - 8 years ago
10/34, I am not come to send peace but a sword. Anybody literate in the bible knows that a sword is the word, which is truth! Now, truth is a rare commodity in these times, and knowing the Word is truth. In Rev, a two edged sword protrudes from Jesus' mouth, for it cuts both ways, destroying lies and establishing the truth, and the truth is from the Holy Spirit. That is the truth spoken inred

Jimmy - John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. --- We must believe but that alone will not save you -The devils believe.

  • Christ Magnified Glorifying Jesus on Deuteronomy 2 - 8 years ago
Day 48 of Bible Reading in a Year. God's Word is a story, a documentary, a novel, historical and true. It speaks of real people that God had and was showing and proving himself too. People have not changed since then. Hearing and reading His words and believing His promises requires faith. With the coming of the Spirit of Christ we can understand by faith through grace and continue in faith.

Varoojan, Gen: 26:5,6 '' And Abraham was a hundred years old....when his son Isaac was born.v6 Sarah said the Lord hath me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me. Pr. 17:22, A merry heart doth good like a medicine, but a broken spirit direth the the bones. To jest mean here to mock or belittle someone. Issac mean laughter praise GOD in the highest.
  • Lawrence Gweh on Ruth 1 - 8 years ago

  • Lynn on John 14 - 8 years ago
John 14:15 is not symbolic, it's clear and means just what it says. If you love me God keep my commandments. The first four commandments addresses our love for God. The next six spells out how we should relate to our fellow man. That's what it means by two great commandments love the Lord your God with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself.

KH; The seal of circumcision and the circumcised heart; the sign in the flesh of the covenant; and so we henceforth, the sign in our flesh of the Covenant of Christ, that we live not after the flesh, and are markedly set apart by our manner of life and good works: very nicely put! When the Lord gives us wisdom and understanding everything fits and makes sense, showing truth eternally applicable!
  • Ann on 2 Corinthians 8 - 8 years ago
Vicki, another meaning would be: we do you to wit (to know) of the grace of God. Amen
  • Ben Seth on Psalms 23 - 8 years ago
He is a faithful God. Call on him in time of need and He will surely come to your aid. He niether sleeps or slumbers. Giving my life to Jesus is the best thing that ever happened to me. May yours be better as you take that step. Psalm 23 always lifts up my spirit when i am overwhelmed.
  • A disciple on Isaiah 48 - 8 years ago
Steve Morrow; Great Scriptures! But do you know who the LORD was referring to? He was speaking to the disobedient and the defiantly hateful and hostile ones; NOT to His beloved Elect who seek to please Him with every thought word and deed, and to walk in truth and holiness before Him IN JESUS' NAME! Seeking to be holy and obedient, and preaching to others to do the same, is not of the devil!

    Regarding Epesians 5:4

It is written: Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

I'm concerned. I'm unemployed and trying to make money selling a full-length animated comedy screenplay.

My question is, would I be in contrary to God's will or word writing a comedy? (the phrase nor jesting appears in verse 5:4) Please help.
  • KH on Romans 4 - 8 years ago
It is a true blessing to be forgiven. In the full context of the passage,Paul reminds us the Abraham believed first and then was circumcised. It was his seal that he had been redeemed likewise, our works are only our seal that we have been redeemed also. We are saved only by faith and that is the blessing. May our works always show who redeemed us.
  • BibleFan on Joshua 22 - 8 years ago
whew! - this was a close call - a good lesson here is to not be too quick to mistrust people's intentions. Both sides harbored mistrust of one another - one thought the other was abandoning god - the other thought they were going to be cast off by their brethren
  • A disciple on Romans 4 - 8 years ago
"Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered." Romans 4:7 The elder Apostle John wrote, I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. While we cannot change the past, we can be of the truth today and walk with a perfect heart toward God and man. What God respected about Abel and his sacrifice, was that he was a man of truth and being wholly of a good conscience and unfeigned faith, offered up sacrifice in honor and memorial of the Promise of Christ coming into the world wherein was ALL his standing and acceptance of God. While we're in this world, AS IT IS, we owe all to the Lord Jesus and what He has done to pay for our sins and set us free from them. We are blessed because we have Jesus!
