End of Bible in a Year Reading for day 32. Playing catchup again, but what a thrill to read this. How forgiving my God is to me. I have often been like the people that trust not, live selfishly, and jealous of others. Dear Lord thank you for your mercy and for the prayers of others for your mercy, care and provision for me. this chapter is explaining Christ removed the Law and how we are to just trust in him and not in any rituals or doctrines of man..the goal of a christian life isnt trying to live holy but to total trust in Jesus..look at 2:6..as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord so walk ye in him..so think.. how you received him..did you come with holiness or goodness? of course not..u believed on Jesus.

O God, Thou has taught me from my youth ( Ps. 71: 17): hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works. I believe that Psalm 71 clearly shows that the psalmist David had a close relationship with God who taught him from his youth. He depended on God to fight his battles. As children of God we will always have enemies and David was no exception. His praise to God never ceased.

it wasnt the act of disobedience that was sin...it was the act of unbelief..God said you will surely die and the serpent said they wouldnt and she believed the serpent over God thus it was unbelief that is the sin..all sin derives from unbelief...the first sin and the sin nature that was passed down to us all...unbelief!!
