A disciple: you say that a person in a sect and what you really mean is cult believes they are the only ones that are chosen or who gets it although the only thing shared here by Brian or myself is available to anyone through the word but besides that are you not contradicting yourself when you lash out at Brian or myself for not seeing it the way you do. Do unto others as you would have done to u

1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? The Holy Spirit lives in the Saved child of God, there for we are in the body of Jesus waiting for it to get filled. I can't wait for to meet Jesus in the clouds, that will be the best ride of my Life. Praise the Lord .

I thought it was beautiful and explained just how I feel every day. I truly want to live for the Lord and I know what I need to do but my thoughts and mouth do not want to cooperate. I feel like I am in a constant battle for my life and soul and I am loosing. Should I feel this way all the time? The Lord has blessed me in so many ways. I want to rejoice in him and shout the name of Jesus.
  • Insight777 on Luke 24 - 9 years ago
God is in Genesis 1, Lord God is in Genesis 2. God is love and does not plot enmity. Lords of the land, kings= aggressors plot enmity. God did not create evil, man created it, a Lord calling himself God created it. God sent Jesus to teach us that. Moses blessed? The Lord was displeased with Moses: “Because you did not trust in me enough to honor me as holy in the sight of the Israelites, Numbers 2

The reference to Snuffers and Snuffdishes in Verse: 23. Does this imply that there was tobacco usage as we know it today. Not a smoker but curious about the usage of these items.

A disciple: the way is narrow, and who is the way? Jesus. All we are saying is that Jesus is all and this is confirmed through his word we need not look for another he is our Lord and our God we will look to him and point others to Him. I don't even belong to a "church denomination" because all denominations pick and choose what they want to believe and all are in error. 2 Timothy 3:16

  • Redeemed on Matthew 28 - 9 years ago
A disciple: where is the error when every baptism that was ever done in the Bible was done in the name of Jesus? Its all through the book of Acts. The fullness of the Godhead dwells in the body of Jesus which is what we are baptized into and it is a fulfillment of Matthew 28:19 to the name. This was the doctrine of baptisms followed through by all the disciples and recorded in the Bible. Acts4:12

Psalm 51:10 (cont.); Out of the depths of anguish and agony for sinning against God and men; the condemnation bears down from the eternal holiness, goodness and faithfulness of God; and all our vain conceits and imagined beauty is turned to rottenness and guilt, with real threat and danger of damnation. Repentance means remorse for evil, seeking forgiveness and a determination to change the life.
