Verse 1 reminds us that we need to pay more than the usual attention due to the critical times and the last days of this system that we are living in.

Verse 20: We need to store up on spiritual food and nourishment during favorable season.

In verse 9 Jeremiah had reached his limit. He honestly expressed his feelings to Jehovah God. We should do the same by earnest prayer.

We should focus on our blessings and what we can do and not on what we don't have as verse 9 encourages us to do.

In verse 37 Jephthah's daughter requested to go away and cry for a few months. This shows that although she was willing to fulfill her father's vow, this was a difficult thing for her to do.

In verse 12 Job showed that he was grateful for the life and the personal dealings Jehovah God had with him.

We need to look to God for our salvation. Abraham took God at his Word when He said take your son and sacrifice him and it was counted for righteousness to Abraham. Jesus told us to go and spread the gospel and I have given you the power. In Daniel there was four in the fire not three. Do we not know who we are in Jesus Christ. Jesus sent us the Holy Spirit to be in us and how can we doubt.

I am taken at the fact that Moses built 3 cities specifically for people who committed crimes against their neighbors accidentally. He gave them a place of saftey. I believe these were cities of refuge. You cannot do that for your fellowman unless you have a forgiving heart. We must allow GOD to be the only judge in these matters. We all make mistakes but we all don't get caught. Love

It is frustrating to say the least trying to explain things to those with closed ears. Darn Disciples must have disobeyed the command right from Jesus mouth when they didn't use THREE NAMES! Acts 19:5 " Acts 19:5 "...they were baptized in the NAME of the LORD JESUS." V43 Moses came in his own name and was received, honored by the approval of his followers.
Moses accuses people with his own made up laws that are not from God, that is why Jesus does not accuse them of breaking those laws. Moses wrote that the truth comes from God. Jesus IS truth from God but followers of Moses do not believe it, following tradition as truth instead.

The Jews hated Jesus being labeled their King. The Jews are looking for a secular KING to lead them to victory in the end of days. That is the prophecy about their messiah. They never described Jesus. Jesus was not sent to earth to rule Israel as a king. They offered him that. Jesus came to save the lost lambs of Israel, those that believe peace is achieved by war and blood sacrifice cleanses sin.

Verse 5 shows that Joseph's trials ended up serving a wonderful purpose. He was able to look at the bigger picture.

Verse 12 is comforting because it assures us that Jehovah God will protect us. He is our refuge and our strength.

Verse 6 shows that parents need to train children with Bible principles.

Verse 3 states the fact that children are a gift from God. Parents have the duty to protect their children.

Verse 32 commands that we respect older ones. The way we treat older ones will have an effect on our relationship with God.

In verse 5 Jehovah God causes himself to become a father to the fatherless.

Verse 18 urges us to be generous and ready to share. We need to have a good attitude towards sharing.

Verse 15 shows that Jehovah God desires to revive the lowly in spirit and those who are crushed in heart.

Verse 10 brings out that all though we may suffer for a little while, we have hope to look forward to. If we rely on Jehovah God we can have a bright future with eternal blessings.

Verse 10 shows that the more we study the Bible, the more we will enjoy it.
